Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 25

Abhi's family arrive at the wedding hall.
Pami and her daughter in law, Mitali, complain about being overdressed for the wedding.
Pami complains about the heat and Sweety overhears her.


Aliya tells Abhi that he gave her a scare that he might not show up.
Abhi says he almost changed his mind but Tanu convinced him.
Aliya assures him that the marriage will be just for a while.




Abhi's Grandmother commends Sarla on the wedding arrangement.
Sarla asks if she really like it.
Aliya assures Sarla that everything is fine, even as she wipes the sweat from her face.
Abhi's grandmother tells Sarla to go and get Pragya.



Sarla comes to the room to get Pragya. She asks if the black thread she gave her for protection is still on her ankle.
Pragya shows it to her.
As they walk to the wedding hall.
The thread falls off.


Abhi is sweating and looks uncomfortable.
His grandmother turns the fan to face him.


As Pragya arrives, Abhi gets up to meet her reluctantly.
They bring the flower garland for the couple to put on each other.
As Abhi is about to put the garland on Pragya's neck, the lights go off.



Sarla says they never have power cuts and she wonders what could have happened.
She tells Bulbul to call the electrician.
Bulbul comes back to tell her that the electrician says it will take him another 30 minutes to arrive.
Purvi's mother suggests they get Suresh who can help them fix it.


Pami complains about the heat and Sweety offers her a handkerchief.


Abhi complains that he is sweating and now there is no power.
he collects a friend's cigarette lighter and flicks it on. He is able to see Pragya's face and he tells her they will continue with the ceremony in the dark.

The friend holds the lighter close to their faces.

Abhi takes the garland and tells Pragya "Our bond is being formed in the darkness but may this bond brighten our lives."
He puts the garland around her neck and as she does same to him, The lights come on.
Abhi looks to see the person who fixed the switch. He points at him, then tells Pragya that he is the one who brightened up their lives.
The person turns to face them and Pragya sees it's a dishevelled looking Suresh.




Mitali sees Pami's face and gasps.
Pami asks if she has gone crazy.
Mitali and a few of the guests start laughing at Pami.
Pami asks them what's funny.
Sweety passes and says too much makeup can darken your skin.
Pami recognises the voice as the same one who offered her a handkerchief.
She takes out her mirror and is horrified when she sees she has dark paint on her face.


Bulbul and Aliya bump into one another.
Aliya complains that Bulbul keeps bumping into her.
Bulbul says she can say the same thing about Aliya.
Aliya warns her that she is a member of the groom's family so Bulbul has to be nice to her.
Bulbul tells her that they are not doing them any favours by marrying Pragya.


Bulbul walks away and goes to Akash to asks if he's the one who handles Abhi's business.
Akash says that's Purab.
Bulbul asks where he is.
Akash says he's not sure, he could just be handling some business.

Bulbul asks herself why she is asking for Purab.



A musician friend of Abhi's comes to perform a song.
Afterwards, she say she wants to meet his bride so he introduces her to Pragya.
Pragya tells Abhi that he has such a nice voice and can sing better songs than 'Happy Love'.
He tries not to show he is offended but he excuses himself.
His grandmother tells Pragya that this is the first time someone is telling Abhi the truth and criticising his music.
Pragya asks if he isn't offended.
Grandmother says he forgets things like that easily but she is happy Pragya told him the truth.

Another friend of Abhi who is an actor, rides a bike into the wedding hall.
He makes Abhi play the guitar and everyone cheers.
Abhi asks for his gift and the friend says the bike he brought is the gift.
He tells Abhi to watch his movie, Ek Villain.

Abhi asks Pragya who she thinks the villain will be.
Pragya says she not sure.
Abhi says she's the villain in their live story.
The female singer asks Abhi who Pragya's villain will then be.
Abhi says he's the villain.
The actress says in that case, there is no hero in their story.

Abhi tells Pragya to watch the movie, Ek Villain, he's sure she will love it.
She asks what that is supposed to mean.
He says if she can make fun of his songs, then he can also do the same.



The wedding rites continue.
Abhi and Pragya sit in front of the fire and the priest performs the rites
They soon make the nuptial rounds while everyone throws flowers at them.
The priests asks Abhi to put vermilion on Pragya's forehead.
The ceremony is complete.
Bulbul, Sarla and their grandmother hug themselves.


Akash steps outside the wedding hall and sees Rachna.
A neighbour tells Rachna not to lift heavy things because of she pregnancy.
She sees Akash and as he approaches her, Madvhi comes out and he hides.

Madvhi berates Rachna for lifting something heavy and helps her carry the bags.
She asks who Rachna is looking at.
Rachna says it's no one.
They walk home and Akash comes out of his hiding spot.




Bulbul and Purvi seize Abhi's shoes and as it is the tradition, they tell him to pay up to collect his shoes.
He gives them some money and they say it's not enough.
He gets upset and Aliya tells him to just pay up since all they want is money.
Abhi gives them a lot of money and they give him his shoes.



Pragya is about to leave her family home.
She hugs her family members who are all crying.
Sarla is inconsolable.
Pragya cries too and looks scared to be leaving for the unknown.


Abhi makes a call to Tanu and complains that Pragya and her family are so dramatic and he's so upset that he married her.
Tanu tells him it's only for a short while.



Sarla begs Abhi to take care of her daughter.
He holds her hands and looks at her with sympathy then he gets in the car and Pragya gets in beside him.
Pragya's male cousin breaks a Coconut in front of the car as a part of tradition.

Pragya looks back at her family one more time as the car pulls away.

Suresh looks out of his window as the car drives past and he sadly waves at her.





The couple arrive at Abhi's house.
The welcoming ritual is performed.
As the couple are stepping into the house, Tanu appears beside Abhi and follows them in.

As Pragya enters the house, she remembers when she first met Abhi as he rescued her from the water then remembers when they met at the jewelry store and when he defended her against his friends at the engagement.


Grandmother blesses them and tells Abhi to take Pragya to his room.
Abhi's friends arrive and say they must take him out to party.
Grandmother tells them to party tomorrow.
Abhi begs her to allow him party otherwise his friends will tease him for the rest of his life.
Grandmother tells him to go but to home back immediately after.

Akash's sister Nemrit introduces herself to Pragya and says she likes to talk a lot.
Grandmother tells her to take Pragya to Abhi's room.




Bulbul and Purvi are lying in bed. Bulbul is crying and unable to sleep.
Sarla enters the room and asks why they are awake.
Bulbul teases her about being awake too because they all miss Pragya.
Bulbul wants to call her but Sarla says Pragya will be busy.



Nemrit and her friends lead Pragya to Abhi's room.
Pragya's male, cousin who followed her to the house, calls his friend on the phone to gush about being in Abhi's room.
One of Nemrit's friends tells her that she expected Abhi to marry a model.
Nemrit says Pragya is the perfect wife for him.
Pragya's cousin playfully tells them not to disturb Pragya.
They all leave the room and Pragya thinks about how her life has changed.
