'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 171 Recap - Aired: Monday 30 October 2017

Mausi is seated in Kingsley'leaving room worth a glass of liquor in front of her. Kingsley is standing away from her behind one of his chairs.

She says a man with something to hide doesn't welcome visitors.
Kingsley looks confused.
Mausi says they both know he understands her well.
He asks what she wants.

She empties her glass and asks what he saw Senami do as she has seen the video and knows he saw more than she did.
He asks if she's not supposed to be omnipresent.

She asks if he thinks she stares in a mirror and sees the whole of Aji.
He says people seem to think so.
She gives him her glass for more liquor. He brings the bottle and refills her glass. She says the sooner he tells her what he saw, the sooner she would leave.

She chuckles and he asks if he's missing something.
She says the owl the bat and the viper witnessed all he did and had he traded a child of Aji, he would have been visited by the viper.
Her voice gets stern as she asks again what he saw Senami do.

The boys are still tearing up the classroom.
Senami huddles in a corner by the wall.
Fonton comes to the clinic singing a Boku Naira song.
He calls out to anyone who can hear him to come and get a chance at financial freedom.
Matron comes outside and asks him to leave.
Fonton asks how much she earns on her job.
She doesn't respond.

He says he knows they don't pay her well enough to be able to take care of herself and buy Peruvian and Brazilian hair.
Matron asks if Boku Naira is the answer.
Fonton says everyone is investing from Doris to Iya Pariola.

Matron asks what they are doing.
Fonton says they are investing and in 5 days they get quadruple the amount they invested
Matron asks if he's a farmer.
Fonton says he's now an investor.

Matron asks if it makes sense to him that he gives someone his money and the person gives him quadruple in 5 days, how did that person make the money.
Fonton sounds unsure as he says the person made an investment.

Matron tells him he's too old for her to tell what is not good for him.
She leaves him and enters the clinic.
Fonton sits on a bench lamenting 'Ayoo Ayoo.'
Obi has his head in Folake's lap.
He sits up and says he just embarrassed himself.
Folake says he can never embarrass himself in front of her.
Obi thanks her for everything and says he loves her.
She doesn't respond.
He says he wishes his father could just disappear.
Folake says Chief was more of a father to him than Michael.
Obi says he didn't deserve Chief.
Folake says yet he got him and it's the universe's way of compensating him for not having a real father.

She tells him that now that he's out, he needs to help his sister break away from their father and make the father know he's more than just a second.
Iya Oviyon leaves her house and sees Daddy Love outside.

She tells him she was coming to look for him.
He asks what the issue is.
She asks if he heard what happened at the school.
He says he knows about the fight.
She says Oviyon is there.
He says Oviyon can take care of himself.
She says that small witch small doctor is also there.

Daddy Love says it seems she's not happy to see him with Senami.
She says she's tired and doesn't really know anymore.
He says Oviyon always helps Senami out of different problems, Oviyon loves to help people and it's a good thing that Iya should be proud of.
She says she's proud of him but he's the only one she has.

He tells her not to baby him as Oviyon is old enough to get married and have children of his own.
She says she's has heard him.
He teases her and they laugh.
Oviyon and Zosu meet up with Senami in the bush

Oviyon asks if Senami is okay
Senami nods and asks if the guys saw them.
Oviyon says they went in another direction.
Zosu leaves them.
Senami tells Oviyon that's she doesn't understand what happened at the school.
He hugs her and suggests they go to Wesere and stay there till they hear from Zosu.
Mausi is back at the shrine.

She brought the bottle of liquor from Kingsley's house back to the shrine with her.
Dethin brings Mausi drugs to her.
Mausi says maybe Dethin's first assignment will be Mausi's calling.
Totai comes in.

Mausi asks what happened.
Titi says Senami was really scared and didn't do anything.
She asks if he did as she asked.
He says they did everything, carried machetes and bottles and they even touched Oviyon but Senami didn't do anything.

Dethin gives Mausi a clay pot.
Mausi shakes it, chanting some incantations and looking at the liquid content.
She tells Totai to find Senami and become her second shadow.
Totai asks for how long.
Mausi says until the clouds clear, Senami is the eye of the storm.

Totai asks what she means.
She orders him to leave.
Ndidi comes to see Folake at the lodge.
She says she came earlier.
Folake says she went to see Obi.
Ndidi asks if Obi told her about Jalingo.
Folake says he did.

Ndidi asks if he was angry.
Folake says he wasn't.
Obi says she thought he would be angry.
Folake says he was upset with himself that he left her behind.
Ndidi hears loud whistling and she immediately switches her tone to a business like one, telling Folake to invest in Boku Naira.
Folake asks what's going on.
Michael Wealth enters and calls Ndidi l, Jenny.
He asks why she left her partner.
Ndidi tells Folake to meet her boss who is the CEO of Boku Naira.

Folake cannot keep the irritation out of her voice.
Michael offers her his hand for a handshake.
She leaves him hanging for some seconds then reluctantly takes his hand.
He starts to pitch Boku Naira to her.
Folake says she would think about it and get back to Jennifer.
As they leave, Ndidi turns to look at Senami with pleading eyes.
Senami is lying on a bed in a hotel room.

Oviyon walks in and she jumps up.
He tells her that he's the one.
Senami says she has tried to help people twice now and they end up hurting her.
Oviyon says mauve it's time she stopped helping people.

Oviyon says in the classroom Senami told him to make sure that she doesn't hurt anybody.
Senami says she didn't want to take any chances to prove his mother right.
Oviyon asks if she would believe him if he tells her that she had supernatural powers.
Senami asks what it has to do with anything.
Oviyon asks what it is about him that makes her doubt him but Kingsley tells her the same thing and she believes him even after knowing the sort of person Kingsley is, she's letting him manipulate her.

Senami says Oviyon himself said there are things have happened that can't be explained, she even saw a floating pot.
Oviyon asks if that now means she killed people with her mind.
Senami says she can't understand it.
She says she knows they've talked about it a million times but she wants him to tell her about that day when they were kids.
Oviyon says he's tired of going over it.
She begs him to tell her.

He says they were in Mausi's shrine then they got up to leave, then Mausi turned to look at Senami as if...
Senami says as if she did something.
She says the same thing happened in the video Kingsley showed her.
Oviyon says he doesn't understand why she would believe such a thing.
She takes out her phone from her bag and gives it to him

He says he doesn't need to see it.
She begs him to watch it.
He watches it and he's shocked at what he sees.
