Sesinu and Folake come to the police station.
Sesinu introduces herself as a barrister and asks why the corper is being held.
The policeman behind the counter tells her that they found the evidence of the crime in Obi's room.
Sesinu asks if he conducted a DNA test.
He doesn't respond.
She asks if they dusted the room to find something to link Obi to the murder.
He asks who has that sort of equipment.
She says he must have found the murder weapon at least.
He says they are still investigating.
She says they have arrested Obi without evidence and haven't questioned if anyone had access to that room or even verified his alibi.
She asks if it's a witchhunt.

She takes out her phone.
The officer asks who she is calling.
Sesinu says she's calling the commissioner of police.
The superior officer orders his subordinate to go and bring Obi.
He tells Sesinu that they only held Obi for safe keeping.

Doris tells him it's enough and he needs to go home.
Fonton is drunk.
He says he's not going anywhere.
She brings him some water for him to wash his face.
He staggers and holds on to Zosu who is passing by.
He starts crying and asks Zosu if he doesn't know what he has done.
Zosu says he had no hand in it.

Sonayan is on the phone with Otogan's lawyer asking him to come and read the will so she and her children can leave.
The lawyer says they are following Otogan's orders.
Sonayan says she knows Otogan included Obi in his will and Obi is a killer so they have to find a way to exclude him.
The lawyer says it's not possible.

Nowheyon is at Oviyon's house.
She asks what he plans to do when he leaves Aji.
He says he doesn't think about it and Aji has become his life.
She asks if he doesn't think of more.
She asks how the farming happened.
Oviyon says when he came from Lagos, he had a lot on his mind and farming is very physical and doesn't give him time to think.
She asks if he has any land.
He says he takes care of other people's farms well but not his own.
She says doing what you love is like art, first he will start doing it then he realises he's doing it because of how it makes him feel.
She touches his chest and he leans in for a kiss but Iya walks in to ask what Oviyon will eat.
She sees Nowheyon and tells her not to leave as she is going to prepare something for her to eat.
She tells Oviyon to play with Nowheyon and make sure she stays.

Elders Johnde and Daddy Love are in Fonton's house.
Fonton asks what they are saying.
Johnde says he wants Sewedo to be Otogan.
Daddy Love says his mind is still on Miyise and he thinks he is not guilty of what he's being accused of.
Fonton says he has made a lot of mistakes and he takes this matter very seriously because if Miyise is the killer and they make him Otogan, it would have dire consequences.
He says he votes Sewedo.

Oviyon walks Nowheyon out.
She tells him that they should do the talking more often.
She is about to get emotional but Oviyon doesn't allow it.
He calls out to Jonah who appears to be passing by.
Jonah walks up to them and Oviyon makes the introductions.
Nowheyon leaves.

Jonah tells Oviyon that he is happy that Oviyon is moving on.
Oviyon looks confused.
Jonah says he and Peace are getting married.
Oviyon laughs at first then asks if Jonah is serious.
Jonah says he just wanted Oviyon to know.
Oviyon says as long as they are happy.
Jonah asks if he's sure.
Oviyon says as long as Jonah treats her better than he did.
Jonah says Oviyon is not in any position to tell him that.

At the palace, Sonayan asks Nowheyon if she has seen Sewedo.

Folake, Sesinu and Obi walk in.
Folake asks Sonayan if she's not going to welcome Obi back.
Sonayan asks what he's doing there.
Obi says they let him go.
Nowheyon says Obi is a killer.
Folake says he didn't kill anyone.
Nowheyon asks how much they gave the police.
Sesinu says her client was unlawfully held without any evidence and she has been told that the investigation continues.
Sonayan asks if she's a lawyer.
Nowheyon says nonsense.
Folake tells her to shush.
Obi says he doesn't want to be there and he has come to take his things and leave.
Sonayan tells him to leave.
Folake says she hopes Sonayan will eat her Aji.
Sonayan warns her not to dare speak to her in that manner just because she has latched herself onto Obi.
Folake says Sonayan is the shameless one who has come to the village to fight with her stepson to rule a village.
Sonayan gives her a slap.
Obi holds Folake back.

The elders arrive.

Senami is at the lodge.
Kingsley comes in with a basket of food.
She is shocked to see him.
She asks what he's doing there.
He says that wasn't quite the welcome he expected.
He drops the basket on the table and says it's for her.

He opens the basket and takes out some fruits.
He takes out a knife and asks if she doesn't mind him cutting the orange up for her.
He cuts it up and offers her.
She tells him she's fine.
He keeps insisting she eats.
She picks up the knife and says she told him she's fine and he needs to get away from her.
He tells her it's him.
She asks how he can stay there and lie.
He says she's not herself.
She tells him she remembers everything and he made a mistake when he thought he could control her; she will tell the police everything he has done with the baby making factory and killing her grandmother.
He tries to get close to her but she points the knife at him and warns him not to move.

At the palace, Johnde asks Obi what he is doing there.
Sesinu says she's acting as Obi's counsel.
Johnde asks where Sewedo is
Sonayan says he's not in.

Daddy love asks his fellow elders if they don't think they should revisit their earlier discussion since Sewedo is not home.
Fonton and Johnde say nothing has changed.

Obi asks if he has to be there.
Johnde says what they have to say concerns him.
Sonayan asks what is going on.
Johnde says they have talked among themselves and they have chosen Sewedo as the new Otogan.
Sonayan screams no!

Matron tells them to watch what they are saying.

Sonayan says it's is not happening.
Johnde tells her that she cannot stand in the way of the customs of the land.
Sonayan says her son is having nothing to do with the chieftaincy of the village.
Folake says so after all the fight to implicate Obi...
Obi says he will be on his way
Elder John says he has to stay till the matter is resolved.
Sonayan says the Adomeh family is done with the chieftaincy.
Obi says he's leaving.
Sonayan tells him he can't leave.

They hear people chanting 'We no go gree!' outside.
The attendants rush in.

They get outside to meet some members of another village.

Sewedo is with them.
His hands are tied and he looks like he has been beaten.
One of the men asks if Sewedo is their son.
One of the Aji elders confirms he's a son of Aji.
Sonayan says he's her son.
The elder from the other village says they found Sewedo with one of their daughters; he had tied her hands behind her back and he had a knife and spoon with him saying he was going to pluck out her eyes.
Everyone screams.
