'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 135 Recap - Aired: Friday 08 September 2017

Oviyon returns home to meet his mother.
She smiles proudly at him.

She sees the look on his face and asks what's wrong.
He says someone removed Glory's eyes and tongue.
She asks if she's still alive.
He says she is but he doesn't know for how long.

She asks who did such a thing.
He says they are saying it's Miyise.
She's shocked.
He says he would go to the elders.
She tells him not to go so they don't remember he was Miyise's friend.

She tells him to go to Mausi instead.
He agrees to go to Mausi.
At the palace, Obi asks why they are accusing him.
Nowehyon says it's what he likes to do.
Sewedo suggests they call the police.
The elders say the people of Aji mustn't hear of it.

Sonayan says the people of Aji must know the sort of person Miyise is.
Fonton suggests they look for evidence.
Obi agrees.

Fonton sends an attendant to go and search.
The attendant enters Obi's room and screams.
Everyone rushes in to check.
They see the eyes and tongue on the bed.
Obi says it wasn't him.

Nowehyon faints.
Matron comes to see Senami at the lodge.
She asks if she feels better.
Senami says she still feels like she's wearing someone else's head.
She asks if they can go to her grandmother's house.

Matron says okay.
Obi is on the floor in his room.
His hands and legs are tied up.
He shouts for them to let him out as he's innocent.

The elders and Chief's family are in the palace main room.
Sewedo says they can't keep Obi in the palace.
The elders tell him to calm down as the villagers shouldn't hear so that things don't get out of hand.

Sewedo says it's already out of hand as they caught Obi red-handed.
Fonton says he's the crown Prince and can't be treated anyhow.
Dr. Jide arrives and they ask if he has any update.

He tells them that Glory didn't make it.
He says he has to call the authorities.
Sonayan tells him to do it fast so that the people don't get to Miyise first and tear him apart.

An elder asks how they would explain his disappearance.
Sonayan suggests they tell them that he left because he couldn't handle being the Prince.
Dr Jide calls the police to report.
Folake comes to the palace and the attendants tell her she can't enter.

She starts shouting for Obi.
Sewedo comes outside and tells her that Obi is not around and it seems he left.
Folake says Obi would never leave without telling her.

She continues shouting Obi's name.
Fonton comes out to tell her he's not there.
Folake says it's a lie.
Fonton says he came to give him cultural lessons but was told he already left.
He tells her to leave with him.

Folake warns Sewedo that if anything happens to Obi, he would be in trouble.
Dr. Jide comes to Kingsley's place.
He says he had to take care of a situation.
Kingsley asks what situation.

Dr. Jide says the Prince is a maniac after all and he mutilated his girlfriend's body.
Kingsley asks how they knew he did it.
Dr. Jide says they found the evidence on his pillow.

Kingsley looks like he's thinking about it.
Dr. Jide asks about Senami and Kingsley's men keeping tabs on her.
Kingsley says it was unsustainable.
Dr. Jide asks if he doesn't realise she can blow their cover.

Kingsley says he has sent his men away and paid the women off so nobody would know.
Dr. Jide says Kingsley doesn't know Senami like he does; she's like a dog looking for a bone when she is looking for something.

He asks what happens if she regains her memory.
Kingsley says they will deal with that if they have to.
Dr. Jide says he can't relax and if their cover is blown, he's finished, he would lose everything and end up in jail.

Kingsley tells him there is nothing to worry about but if he can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.
Matron and Senami are out in the village.
Matron shows Senami the different houses and tells her the people who live in them.

Senami doesn't remember them.
Oviyon comes out of his house and tells Matron that he didn't see her in the clinic.
He holds his stomach and groans.
Senami asks what happened to him.

He asks if she didn't hear that Half-a-day almost killed him.
He asks why she's acting strangely.
She tells him that she had some type of fall and lost her memory.

He asks if she remembers him.
Folake walks up to tell them and tells Senami that they told her Obi is not at the palace but she knows they are lying.

Oviyon asks how Senami remembers Folake but not him.
Matron says Senami is not lying and that's why she's taking her through the village to see if she can remember anything.

Jonah is sitting in front of Fonton's house with him.
Fonton asks him how long his leave would be.
Jonah says for as long as he wants it to be.
Fonton says Jonah would help him plan Petu's burial.

He says he knows Jonah is upset with him but all he did was for the good of Aji.
Jonah looks at him like he's gone mad.
Fonton says he knows it got out of control and he lost Petunia.

They see a man and woman approaching.
Fonton says they are Petunia's family members.
Fonton welcomes them.
The man grabs him by the collar and asks him for their child.

He accuses Fonton of using Petunia for rituals as they've heard they sell human parts in Aji.
The sister says they've sold Petunia's body part and Petunia has a lot of extra body parts that could have been sold.

Jonah begs the man to leave Fonton alone.
He lets go.
His sister suggests Fonton accompanies them to the shrine to swear he had no hand in it.
Fonton runs into the house.

Seyive is watching Akweyon who is sleeping.
Akweyon wakes up and points at Neza's shirt.
Seyive says he's not back.
Akweyon stands up like she senses he's near.
Neza walks into the hut.
He gives Akweyon a tight long hug.
He calls her his goddess.

Seyive asks why he stole the blood and caused the blood riot that almost got her killed.
Akweyon says 'Mausi.'
Neza says he acted on Mausi's orders.
He suggests they leave Aji immediately.
Seyive says she wants to go to the clinic so that she can say goodbye to Matron and Senami.

Neza says no time for that.
Oviyon comes to the shrine.
Mausi talks to him from behind the raffia curtain.
She tells him he has come at last but he didn't bring any gifts.

He asks what gifts she expects him to bring.
She asks why it took him so long to visit her.
He says he had no reason.
He asks what's been going on with all the girl and the eggs, the fight with Half-a-day and all the deaths in Aji.

She says death comes to everyone.
He says he had a dead boy following him everywhere.
Zosu is spying on them.
Oviyon says everything happening makes no sense yet he feels they are all connected to Mausi.

Mausi says yet he doesn't believe in her.
He asks if she's a deity for him to believe in her.
She asks how long he can swim against the tide.
He tells her to stop with her parables and just say what she has to say.

She says he thinks she's a fraud.
He says who knows if she's scamming everyone in Aji.
She laughs and tells him to show respect to things he doesn't understand.
She says she would respond to him when he does the right thing.

He asks if he should bring a sacrifice.
He loses it and starts shouting, saying that she's supposed to be the protector of Aji and thiswould be the last time she sees him at the shrine.
Matron and Folake bring Senami to Iya Minasu's hut.
Senami asks how an old person could live in a place like that.

She tells them to wait outside while she goes in.
She enters and opens a trunk.
She sees some photos inside and smiles.
She lifts some clothes up and her eyes widen with fear when she sees a hand at the bottom of the trunk.

Her memory comes flooding back to her.
She holds her head and screams at the top of her lungs then she passes out on the floor.
