'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 128 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 30 August 2017

Oviyon finds Samuel bleeding on the floor.
Samuel says it's was Half-a-day.
Oviyon calls Jonah to tell him that the bastards have his father.

Akweyon and Seyive are in the hut.
Akweyon shows off the new dress she's wearing to Seyive.
Seyive says it looks good on her.
Akweyon still has the dark circles around her eyes but the bandana is gone.
Seyive asks what led to her leaving Mausi.
Akweyon looks like she doesn't want to talk about it.
Senami says she really doesn't care as long as Akweyon is out of there.

She says she wants to tell her what's on her mind; the incident that occurred when they were were kids wasn't a pleasant one and she has sleepless nights over it.
Her voice breaks and she says she's sorry; what their father did was bad and she's the older sibling who is supposed to protect Akweyon.
She says she was scared.
Akweyon tries to tell her it's okay.
Seyive says she wants to talk because the last time she didn't talk, Mausi took Akweyon to the shrine.
Akweyon hugs her.
Seyive tells her to promise not to return to the shrine.
They lock their pinky fingers in a pinky swear.

Dr. Jide walks through the palace gates.
Oviyon's boys ask who he wants to see.

Obi comes outside and Dr. Jide tells him to get the boys out of his sight.
Obi tells the boys to allow him into the compound.

Obi takes him aside and asks what he has come to do.
Dr. Jide says he came to pay his respects to his dear friend Otogan.
Obi asks what he has been saying to Sewedo.
Dr. Jide says Sewedo is quite a charming character.
He laughs alone.
Obi says Jide told Sewedo about the will.
Dr. Jide says he doesn't understand what he means.
Obi says if he goes down, he would make sure Jide does too.

Nowheyon asks them if there is a problem.
Dr. Jide says he was just sharing some memories with Obi.
Obi says Dr. Jide was one of the last people to see Otogan.
Dr. Jide says he was such a great man.
He wipes non-existent tears from his eyes
Nowheyon tells Obi to go inside and change as it's almost time for the procession.
Obi goes inside.

Half-a-day and his boys are seated at their regular hang out.
Oviyon walks up to them calling Half-a-day a murderer.
The goons hold him back.
Half-a-day tells them to leave him alone.
He tells Oviyon to come and do what he wants to him.
Oviyon says he will pay for all his crimes.
Half-a-day says it seems Oviyon is insane and wants to go to his grave.
He says he likes Oviyon for his boldness but it's sad that he has no brain.
Oviyon asks where Fonton is.
Half-a-day laughs and asks if that's why he wants to kill himself.
He says when he's done with Fonton, Oviyon can come and take his stupid uncle.
He stands up and tries to poke Oviyon in the chest.
Oviyon tells him not to touch him.
Half-a-day pokes him in the chest and says anyone of his boys can beat Oviyon up but it seems the gods like him.
He warns that the next time Oviyon crosses him, he would kill him.
He and his goons leave.

Kingsley and Saul are outside Kingsley's house, having a conversation.
Senami walks into the compound and Kingsley asks if she's back early.
She says she wanted to change and take a shower before attending Chief's burial.
She asks if he's not coming.
He says he doesn't like such things and he's even surprised that she's going.

She tells Saul that she sees him around a lot but she doesn't recognise him from Aji.
She asks if he's from around there and how long he has been working for Kingsley.
Kingsley asks if she is interrogating his employees now.
She says she's just curious as to why Saul always meets him at the house and not the office.
Kingsley tells Saul not to mind Senami as she's a doctor, not an investigative journalist.
Saul smiles.
Senami says she's just making small talk.
Kingsley says he doesn't pay him to make small talk with his guests.
He tells Senami to go and have the shower and give her final goodbye to Chief.

Oviyon returns to the palace to meet his boys and Jonah.
He tells them that it's not a joke with Half-a-day and his goons because they landed Samuel in hospital.
He reminds them of the other victims, Fonton, Moses, Petunia, Iya Francis and Sulah.
He says they have shed so much blood in Aji.
He asks if the boys will sit back and just watch.
They chorus 'No!'
He asks what they would do.
They say they will fight.
He says it seems it's today that Otogan is being buried that Half-a-day wants to make his move so they need to be vigilant, walk in pairs and shout for help if they need to.
He tells them that Miyise is the main target along with Otogan's family so they need to watch them and if any of them wants to back out, they can leave and it wouldn't be held against them.
They all remain standing.
Oviyon says together, they are strong.

Akweyon and Seyive are eating.
Seyive says it's a good thing that Akweyon can now eat without the scarf covering her mouth.

Akweyon points to Neza things.
Seyive says he was arrested as he was the one who stole the missing blood.
Akweyon looks really sad but tries to hide it from Seyive.

At the police station.
The police are still interrogating Neza.
One of the officers, who is more aggressive, tells Neza that's he's lying.
His colleague tells Neza to say what he really saw.
Neza says he saw Kingsley driving and he hit Iya Minasu with his car but he didn't stop.

The aggressive officer asks about the pregnant woman.
Neza says he saw her in the bush but didn't see everything but he swears it was Kingsley that killed Iya Minasu.

They ask what he was planning to do with the blood.
He says they have the wrong guy as the person who is supposed to be at the station is Kingsley.
They ask where he got the blood from.
He says it was in the cooler at the clinic.
They ask when it happened.
He says it was the day of the riot.
The aggressive officer asks how he knew was able to see Kingsley knock down Iya Minasu if he was at the clinic.
Neza says someone told him.
They asks who.
He mouths 'Akweyon.'

It's the day of the funeral.
Obi and Sewedo are in the palace.
Obi is tying the white cloth and holding a framed photograph of Otogan.
Sewedo is wearing the outfit the tailor gave him.

The elders arrive.
The spokesman says 'My Prince.'
Obi and Sewedo respond.
The spokesman says he's talking to the crown Prince of Aji.
Sewedo makes a face.
The spokesman says they can see that Miyise misses Otogan; they miss him too but they now have Miyise.
Sewedo says he thought they were there to talk about the procession.
The spokesman says Obi will lead the procession.
Sewedo asks why.
The spokesman asks if he's questioning tradition.
Sewedo says he thought Obi would carry the coffin.
The spokesman says the sons of Otogan would do it, one in front and one behind while the elders and others will dance along.

Sewedo tells Obi that they are waiting for him.
He snatches the photo from Obi and it falls down.
Obi walks out.
Sewedo runs after him and says he wants to carry the coffin.
They start arguing and there is a scuffle.

Obi is outside trying to make a phone call.
The spokesman tells him he's shocked at what happened earlier; Obi is older and disgraced his father on the day of the funeral.
Obi says it wasn't his fault.
The elder says he's older and should know better.

Folake walks into the compound and asks why Obi dropped the coffin.
Obi says he can explain.

Sewedo is in the palace, fuming.
Nowheyon tells him to calm down.
He asks if she didn't see the bastard punch him.
Nowheyon says Sewedo shamed them and their father wouldn't have liked how he dropped him on the ground.
He tells her to shut up as she's meant to be supporting him and not that ghost.
She says she's not supporting him.
She leaves.

There is a knock on the door.
he asks who it is.
Glory says she came to check up on him.
She walks in and says she came to console him as Miyise embarrassed him publicly.
Sewedo says Miyise disgraced himself.
Glory massages his shoulders.
He tells her to take everything she's wearing, off.
He pulls her close to him forcefully and kisses her.

Obi tells Folake that he couldn't hold himself.
Folake says she understands as Sewedo is not okay in the head.
Obi says that's what he has been facing and he's tired.
Folake says she thought they would at least behave for one day.
Obi says Dr. Jide gave Sewedo a copy of Chief's will and he's not sticking around to find out what he's planning.
Folake says maybe Jide needs more money.
Obi tells her to forget it as he's done and he's leaving tonight.
Folake says they can't just leave as people can be watching.
Obi says he's done.
She says okay she would go and pack her things then join him tomorrow morning and they will leave together.
He says it's cool.
She kisses him out in the open and says she's excited to be leaving the mad place.

It's night time.
Peace drags her bag to a park to take a bike.
A bus stops and a lady alights.
She is Peace's clone, wearing the same dress, hairdo, footwear and even carrying the same bag.
Both of them stare at each other.

Peace puts her bag on the bike and leaves.
The other Peace walks into Aji with her bag.
