Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 107

Otogan is lying on the floor, still unconscious.
Obi calls him Daddy but he doesn't respond.
Obi calls Senami on the phone and says it's like he fainted and he's done everything she told him to do the last time.

Senami asks who fainted.
Obi says it's Chief and he doesn't know what to do.
Senami tells him to calm down.
Obi begs her to come and to come alone.

He tells Otogan that he will be fine.
He screams for the guards.
The guards are outside.
Half-a-day's boys return.
The guards tease them about coming to receive more from Otogan.

Half-a-day appears and tells them to shut up.
He and his boys grab the guards, about to beat them up.
Fonton tells them to stop.

One of the guards says Otogan said he doesn't want to see them.
Fonton says it was Otogan who sent for him
Half-a-day is about to react but Fonton begs him to calm down while he sees Otogan.

Oviyon is in the dark with two young men.
One of them tells him that his brother saw something.
The brother is very very jittery and finding it hard to speak.

Oviyon asks what he saw.
He says he was by the farm and saw some men putting some things in a trailer.
Oviyon asks what the things were.
The young man says they were heavy bags and he now heard the Oga telling his people to pack up all the 'knock-outs' (Fire crackers).

Oviyon says so that was what they heard and thought they were gunshots.
The other man says it's Half-a-day and his men.
Peace is spying on them.
Oviyon says the boys outnumber them so they have to lay low for now.

The guys leave.
Oviyon sees the little boy.
Peace calls him and says she wants to discuss something with him so he needs to come with her.
She starts walking, expecting him to follow without question.

He remains rooted to a spot and asks what she's saying.
She commands him to follow her na.
He says he really doesn't have time for such games now.
He walks away and she looks very confused.
One of the guards follows Fonton into the Palace.
The see Otogan on the floor with Obi beside him.

Fonton asks what's going on.
Obi says he has tried everything and he doesn't know.
Fonton listens for a heartbeat and declares Otogan is dead.
Obi says it's not possible.

The guard starts crying and turns to leave.
Fonton calls him back and tells him not to say anything to anybody.
He asks Obi if he has told anyone.
Obi says he called Senami.

Fonton says they can't tell anyone yet.
Obi asks if they are really saying he's dead or they are joking?
Fonton is back outside the palace with his boys.
He tells them that he has spoken to Otogan and all he wants is better treatment for everyone.

He tells Half-a-day to take his boys away and make sure people are not outside past the curfew hour.
Half-a-day leaves with his boys.
Fonton calls Petunia to tell her it has happened.
She asks what.

He says Otogan is dead.
She is shocked.
She asks what happened.
He says he doesn't know but they've gone to call Mausi and he's the only elder there.
Petunia warns him not to tell anyone and to wait till Mausi comes.

He tells her not to also tells anyone.
He looks behind him and sees Half-a-day watching him.
He is shocked.
Half-a-day asks what he was telling Mama.
Fonton says he called her to tell her not to worry if he comes back home late.

Half-a-day doesn't look convinced.
Fonton tells him he's doing a good job and Otogan is proud of them so they need to keep up the good work.
Fonton walks back into the palace.
Oviyon is with Neza sitting in front of the hut.
Neza asks him how he knows 'She' is the one.
Oviyon says Neza noticed before he did.
Neza asks if he saw her walking from a mile and just thought to himself that she was the one.
Oviyon says he has other things on his mind.
Neza asks what.

Oviyon says like Aji being run by Half-a-day and his boys.
Neza asks if it;s the Half-a-day used to sell weed.
Oviyon says it's the same person and he has teamed up with Fonton terrorise the village.
Neza says Half-a-day is doing something shady to climb up the ladder.

Oviyon asks what it is.
Neza says whatever it is can't be legal and he heard he spent some time in prison.
Oviyon asks where he heard from.
Neza says he heard and Oviyon shouldn't put his leg in the mouth of a tiger.

Oviyon says he knows when it happens, the King of babylon has got his back.
He pats Neza on the back.
Neza fake-coughs and says he's sick so Oviyon should take his hand away.
Oviyon asks if Neza is denying him.
Neza says he's on his own.

Otogan's body has been moved to the bedroom and placed in his bed.
Obi is sitting beside him on the bed and Fonton is in a chair.
Fonton says he knows Otogan is now wining and dining with his ancestors and looks very
peaceful.

Obi says Senami will find a solution.
Fonton says they shouldn't lie to themselves but they need to decide what to do after Senami's checks.
Obi asks what.

Fonton says Otogan is a chief and needs to be buried.
Obi says he doesn't know what to do.
Fonton tells him not to worry, as Obi's custodian and an elder, he will donate himself to do everything; it's a long process but Otogan is his very good friend and he will do it.
Senami walks in and listens for a heartbeat with her stethoscope.

The look on her face confirms Otogan is gone.
She asks Obi what happened.
Obi says he just found him in the living room.
Dr. Jide rushes in.
Obi grabs him by the collar and asks what he's doing there.

Senami begs Obi to calm down as Dr. Jide knows Otogan's medical history more than she does.
Dr Jide collects the stethoscope from her.
Petunia hears her front door open and she almost jumps out of her skin.

Half-a-day walks in and she tells him that he scared her.
She says she knows he's missing her and came to' Chop' before going back to work.
He asks what she and her husband were discussing.

She stands up and asks if he came for gist and not to do?
He grabs her hand roughly and pulls her back down.
He repeats his question and she says Fonton said Otogan is dead and doesn't want anyone to know.
He asks if he's now anybody.
She tries to move but pulls off her wrapper leaving just her waistslip.

He reminds her that she said she missed black mamba.
She looks scared and says later.
She tries to run out but he chases her back inside.

Kingsley is at the clinic.
Matron asks if there is a problem.
He says he came to get Senami because of the curfew.
She says Senami has gone to Otogan's place.
He says he will go there and get her.
Matron calls him back and says she knows he and Senami are now eh..together.
He says they are friends.
She says Senami is very stubborn, doesn't listen to anyone and does what she believes is right, according to what she understands.
He says he knows.

She says Senami is even about to do something that will cause trouble.
He asks what that is.
Matron says she threatened to call the Human Rights people to help Akweyon as Mausi is abusing her and she also said she would confront Chief about being a corrupt man.
Kingsley asks what she wants him to do.
She tells him to talk to her because it wasn't long ago they tried to burn them alive.
He has a look in his eyes like he's making a promise as he says he will make sure Senami is safe.

Half-a-day and his boys are walking through the village in the dark.
His henchman explains what happened between him and Otogan to Half-a-day.
Half-a-day gives him a punch that lands him on the ground and tells him he's mad.
They get to a van and bring out some goods.
One of the boys beats a gong to alert the village that the curfew is in effect.
Senami, Dr. Jide, Fonton and Obi are back in the main room of the palace.

Obi is seated on a high chair next to the throne.
He asks if it was poison.
Senami says her examination showed no signs of foul play.

Dr. Jide says he was told that Otogan fought with one of the boys and that could have triggered a stroke.
They hear some people wailing.
He tells Senami to check on the wailers in case one of them needs medical attention.
She hugs Obi and leaves.

Dr. Jide tells Fonton that he should help Senami just in case.
Fonton asks if she is a child.
Dr. Jide says Senami doesn't know how to talk sometimes.

Obi tells Fonton to go.
Fonton agrees and leaves.
Obi asks Jide if he thinks he believes what he said about stroke.

Dr. Jide asks if he didn't hear Senami when she said no foul play.
Obi asks how he could do such a thing.
Dr. Jide says that's coming from Obi who pushed Sulah.
Obi says it was an accident.
Dr Jide says that's according to Obi.

Obi asks if he thinks talking about Sulah is going to change the fact that he knows Dr. Jide killed Chief.
Dr. Jide addresses Obi as Otogan in waiting and says Obi calls the shots now and he barred him from coming to the palace so how could he have miraculously committed such a heinous crime?
Obi tries right speak but Jide tells him to shut up as he has no hold on anything.

He tells him to listen; he's always been a pawn and will continue to remain so till he says otherwise.
He asks whose fault it is that the old fool got carried away in the excitement of his long lost son that he forgot his medication?
Obi is shocked.

Dr. Jide says to think Obi tried to stop him from coming to the palace.
He says the wheels were already in motion long before Obi saw them turning.
Obi shakes his head in disbelief and says he will expose him.

Jide stands up and asks what exactly he will expose? Is he the one who had his name changed? Is he the one who stands to inherit all the wealth or was he the one who told the servants to ban Dr. Jide from coming to the palace?

He says the whole thing has Obi written all over it and if he were him, he would keep quiet and finish what he started or he might just fail a DNA test.
Oviyon is hiding in the bush and watching Half-a-day's goons as they off load the goods from the van.

He sees the young man who told him about the Half-a-day's shady deals earlier.
He grabs him and asks if he didn't tell him to lay low.
The guy says he's going to see his girlfriend.
He sees Half-a-day and his men so he hides in the bush with Oviyon.

His phone rings.
Oviyon takes it and tries to switch it off fast but it's too late and Half-a-day orders his boys to find the person.
Oviyon and the boy run off.
Half-a-day searches the area with his torchlight and sees part of the fabric of the boy's shirt caught in the shrub.
