'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2120 Recap - Aired: Thursday 07 September 2017

Chuks is at work.
He makes a phone call to Ene's mother.
He asks about everyone.
She asks what he really called for.
He says he wants to thank her for the money she promised them.
She says they still need to get the rest from her husband.
Chuks asks if she can help them talk to him.
She asks if he's really telling her to beg her husband.
Chuks pleads with her.
She says Ene should to it.
Chuks tells her that her grand-daughter, Amara has been missing school for a while now.
She agrees to talk to her husband just for Amara's sake.

Charles is still with Nero at the office.
He tells Nero that he means no disrespect.
Nero says the only reason he hasn't fired him is because he has respect for Angela’s memory.
Charles says he was just trying to explain that Angela was very particular about her privacy.
Nero asks if he's saying he knows his daughter more.
Charles says no.
Nero says if he wants to continue to work there, he would suggest Charles follows his directive.
Charles tries to speak.
Nero says if he utters one word, he would get fired on the spot.
Nero leaves the office and Charles heaves a sigh of relief.

Shoshanna comes to see Ene at home.
Ene says she thought she left.
Sho says she came to discuss an extra 10 percent in her commission.
Ene laughs and says she can't afford her anymore with the way things are.
Sho says she doesn't even know how long she would be in Lagos for.
Ene asks why.
Sho says she had already spoken to her mother and she was coming around but her mother saw Helen and Salewa in torn clothes on their last day of school and her mother lost it.
Ene says she went through it in school but they made sure their parents didn't know.

Dikibo is with la!de at Reel.
She asks how his visit to Amaka's place went.
He says it went well and he can't believe how much he missed Tochi.
She asks if Amaka didn't say anything to him.
He says she said she wanted to stay away from the office to take care of Tochi but he knows she just wants an excuse to stay away from the office.

la!de says maybe time apart is good for everyone.
Dikibo says time away will also do him some good.
la!de suggests a holiday.
He says she has been working hard and they can go on a holiday.
She asks if it's all expenses paid.
He says yes.
She says her production team would be very happy if she tells them that they are all going on a holiday.
Dikibo looks at her like she has lost her mind.
She thanks him and says she can't wait to tell them.
She keeps addressing him as Sir.
He says he can take like half a dozen people.
She runs out to go and tell the team.
Dikibo looks like he's still trying to understand how the conversation went wrong.

la!de and Dikibo are meeting with the team.
la!de announces that Dikibo has agreed to pay for 6 people to go on a holiday.
She says they have to do a ballot to select the people who would go.
Fumi tells them to all pick out of a bag; those who pick a white card are getting a ticket.
Chuks wins a ticket.
Dikibo says those who didn't get a ticket will receive a bonus.
Everyone celebrates.

Sankey comes to see Brenda at work.
She says the investigation yielded nothing and it's good news for a man like Zane.
Brenda asks what she means.
Sankey says bad news travels fast and they should have heard if anything happened by now.
Brenda tells her to continue to do her job.

Sho is back at Salewa's place
She says she needs to do something to stop her mother from taking her to the village.
Helen asks what her mother likes.
Sho says she likes makeup and food.
Salewa suggests they let her see them doing something good for someone.
Shoshanna says they don't have enough time for that.
Salewa suggests they take care of someone who is sick.
Sho and Helen like the idea.
Salewa asks who the sick person would be.
Sho and Helen stare at her.

Amaka is at home.
She calls a company to set up a meeting about possibly working with them.

She shows Tochi a list of companies and asks him which one she should move to.
He selects one.
She says maybe she should even open her own office because she can't go back to that office to see la!de and Dikibo carrying on like they do.

Nero meets up with IK at a restaurant.
He asks how Odyssey can get back into business with Invest Africana.
IK says he already promised Charles some business in the next budget.
Nero asks if he would put that in writing.
IK says he thinks it would be better they wait till the time comes.
Nero says he has information that the talent is giving them issues and he thinks they can work on it.
IK says they already closed the chapter and the child will not be returning to the project.
Nero asks if he would give them a chance to talk to the child's mum.
IK says he knows the mother and Nero should take it from him when he says that ship has sailed.

The private investigator is with Brenda.
He tells her that he found nothing on Zane.
She asks about Serena.
He says she's always home and receives just one male visitor who comes regularly.
He shows her a photo of IK.
Brenda says IK is not important.
She tells him that he needs to intensify his effort as she knows Zane cannot just abandon Alexis.

Sheila asks Cosmo why dinner is smelling so good.
St John says the food is also a lot.
Sheila asks Cosmo what's going on.
Cosmo avoids meeting her gaze as he says it's just dinner.

Philip and Yaya walk in.
Sheila runs to hug them.
She asks when they got back.
They say they just came straight from the airport.
Sheila says if they had called, she would have come to pick them up.
Philip says they wanted it to be a surprise.
Cosmo says dinner wouldn't be ready for a while.
Philip says they will go home to freshen up then come back.

Salewa is lying on the couch with her head in Shoshanna's lap.
Shoshanna mops her head with a wet cloth and tells her sorry.

Helen comes in with Shoshanna's mother.
She touches Salewa and says her temperature feels normal.
Sho says it's because she's been mopping her with the wet cloth.
Sho's mother looks like she doesn't buy it.

IK is with Serena at her place.
He tells her to get a baby sitter for Alexis so he can take her out on a date.

Alexis walks in to ask Serena when her daddy is coming back
Serena says he would soon be back.
Alexis says it's a lie.
IK tells her not to talk to her mother like that.
Alexis tells him he's not her daddy and she wants her daddy.

Philip and Yaya enter their house.
Yaya says the place is dirty.
Philip suggests they sleep in a hotel and get the cleaners to clean up.
Yaya says she wants to clean it herself.

She says she wasn't sure she was coming back.
He asks what she means.
She says she wasn't sure she still had a marriage.
He says she should know he has always loved her.
She says she loves him too.
He says no more talk about the past but to look to the future.
She holds him and tries to kiss him.
He doesn't reciprocate.
She says he loves her but has no desire for her.
He says he just feels like nothing happens 'down there' anymore.
Yaya says the doctor said he was fine.
Philip says he needs more time.
