'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2116 Recap - Aired: Friday 01 September 2017

Damini and Bimpe return to the office.
They ask the temp why the office is in darkness.
She tells them that the generator was acting up.
Bimpe asks how far she has gone with the work.
The temp says she was still on it when the lights went out.
Damini tells her to call the technician.
Bimpe assures Damini that they would finish the work.

The Odyssey staff are having a meeting.
They discuss Odyssey pulling out of the Phoenix Prime project.
One of the guys says he doesn't understand what Charles has refused to take legal actions against them.
Nnenna says she's sure he has a good reason.

Charles walks in to tell them that they are no longer working with Phoenix Prime and Alexis.
Oris says they already saw it in the papers.
Charles apologises that they had to find out that way.

The temp returns with the technician.
The technician says he will have to buy parts and would have to fix the gen in 5 days.
Damini begs for 3 days.
The technician says he can't do it.
Bimpe tells him to go and write his list.

She tells Damini that they will have to go and work elsewhere.
She suggests her place but he says it's too far.
He suggests the Garden Restaurant.

Cosmo is cleaning the living room bar at Sheila's place.
Freddie tells him that the WiFi has stopped working.
Cosmo says it was deactivated at Sheila's request.
Freddie asks how he's supposed to live that way.
Cosmo leaves and Freddie pours himself an alcoholic drink.

He calls Ivie to tell her what happened with Sheila
She asks how he would cope.
He invites her over as he's grounded.
She says she's travelling.
He says he will come over to say goodbye.
She reminds him that he's grounded.
He says he is not a child.

Nero is at home.
Joanne comes to see him.
She asks if he thought she was coming with someone he recently hurt.
He doesn't respond.
She asks why he kissed Amaka.
He says she kissed him.
She asks what else she did to him.
He says he knew it was wrong and he likes to make amends.
He asks what he can do.
Joanne says Amaka is a problem as long as she's in their lives.
He asks if he should stop being friends with her.
Joanne says he can be Amaka's friend as she needs one now.
She asks if he can set aside his desires and be there for her.
He says he knows she means well but shouldn't it be a conversation between him Amaka and Sheila?
Joanne says she's there as Sheila's friend.
He stands up and says he would have to politely ask her to leave.
Joanne tells him to think about what she said.

Sankey comes to see Serena at her place.
She says she is following up on a missing person's case.
Serena says she doesn't know any missing persons.
Sankey asks where Zane is as she was the last person to see him.
Serena says it whats happening has Brenda written all over it.
Serena says Brenda is only trying to get back at her
Sankey asks if the issue has anything to do with Zane.
Serena says she doesn't know where he is and she's not involved in anything.
Sankey asks for the last time she saw him..
Serena says when Chief came for her and her daughter, Sankey knew what to do but did nothing now she's acting all efficient.
Sankey tells her she can file a complaint but be ready to go the whole haul.
Serena says she didn't say she was going to write anything against her.
Sankey asks for the last time she saw Zane.

Bimpe and Damini are in the restaurant, working on their laptops.
Bimpe takes out her phone to take photos of Damini.
Damini tells her not now.
Bimpe says it's for Instagram and important for people to see him and know he's a hands-on CEO.
Damini says he is.
Bimpe says people don't know.
He asks how she knows such things.
She says she read them online.
Damini says that's explains it.
Bimpe asks what he means.
He says if someone had done their job instead of spending time online, they wouldn't be working from a restaurant.
Bimpe says if someone had fixed the generator, they wouldn't be there as well.
Damini says if he hadn't gone to the restaurant for lunch, he wouldn't be there
Bimpe says they didn't force him to come to lunch with with her aunt.
She walks out.

Sheila is at home.
She calls Yaya on the phone and asks if she and Philip are coming soon.
Yaya says she's not sure yet.

Yaya asks if everything is okay.
Sheila says Freddie is being a brat and she wants to talk to Philip.
Yaya says she would get him to call when he wakes up.
Sheila tells her not to bother him.

After they hang up, Sheila asks Cosmo for Freddie.
He says Freddie has gone out.

IK and Mimi are in Brenda's office for a meeting.
Brenda is working on her tablet.
Mimi asks if she read he article on Tessa.
Brenda asks who didn't
IK says she must know that Phoenix Prime was cast in a bad light and by extension, Invest Africana.
Mimi says Charles was cited as the source.
Brenda says so?
Mimi says they don't want people thinking the project has troubles so she has thought of a plan to reduce the damage.
IK says when Phoenix Prime implements the plan, they would be able to put all the issues behind them.
He Suggests Brenda gives an interview, something that would help improve public perception.
Brenda gives an emphatic no!
IK takes off his glasses and asks what she said.
Brenda says they (Invest Africana) created the mess and she has been trying to clean it up; they haven't even acknowledged that and they are talking about an interview.
Mimi says the interview will reduce the damage.
Brenda asks if she thinks she got this far in business by stopping to consider what people think.
IK says she's missing the point.
Brenda says she doesn't care about the point.

She bends to continue working on her tablet.
She tells them that they can carry on talking but she would just be focusing on more important things.
IK and Mimi look at one another.

Amaka is back in her office with Ego.
Ego says Amaka didn't have to leave.
Amaka says she didn't want to socialise with Sheila.
Ego says she understands it's because Sheila's brother shot up her wedding.
She asks how the new husband is with Tochi.
Amaka says he's okay

She asks if Ego has found a husband.
Ego says Amaka's kind of luck hasn't shone on her yet; landing a rich and caring husband all at once.
Amaka fakes a smile.

Alexis tells Serena that she misses daddy.
Serena says she too.
There is knock at the door.
Serena opens it and sees IK.
She is not thrilled.
Serena tells him it's not a good time.
He says he has come on official business.
She asks what happened.
He says the article about Alexis pulling out is in the papers and she would be getting calls from nosy reporters.
She says she can handle them.
He says they need to be careful with what she says so it doesn't blow up in their faces.

Serena tells Alexis to go inside.
She gets a call from Zane.

Bimpe returns to the restaurant and apologises that she neglected work and messed things up.
Damini says he's sorry he used lunch with her aunt as an excuse.

The client appears and says so the Instagram pictures are true?
Bimpe says Damini is working on his project.
The client tells them to give him his file as he's done doing business with them.

Serena tells Zane that not in this lifetime; she's Alexis' mother and needs her more.
She tells him he's in a secret location giving orders and he's mad.

She tells IK that Zane says he wants Alexis to come and be with him.

Freddie walks in and Sheila asks where he went.
He says he went to see Ivie.
She asks if he thinks he has the upper hand because he missed his exams because he will write the exams next year.
Freddie says he would be abroad them.
Sheila laughs and tells him she was serious about him not going to school abroad so he has to make a wise decision next year otherwise they will wait for the following year.
