'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2114 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 30 August 2017

Damini is at work.
Bimpe walks in and asks if he's too busy to look at his babe.
He says no, especially if what she wants to say is important.
She says it's important as it is about family.

She gives him her phone and tells him to look at the photo.
He says it's Bill Gates.
She tells him to swipe.
He sees Mark Zuckerberg.
She tells him to continue.
He sees two more.
She asks what they all have in common.
He says they're all billionaires.
She says they are all also university drop outs.
Damini says they are also geniuses.
She asks if he would turn them down if they came to him for a job.
He says of course not.
She asks why he turned her brother down when he came for a job.

Tessa comes on set to ask Aisha for Charles.
Aisha asks her if Charles told her that she could come on set.
Tessa says she's now working with Odyssey and Charles told her she could come.
Aisha says it's not possible as Odyssey is no longer a part of the project.

Tessa calls Charles to tell she's waiting for him on set.
He says there has been new developments and he will tell her when she comes to the office.

Damini laughs and asks Bimpe if Shina told her he refused to help because he dropped out.
Bimpe says she doesn't joke with her family.
Damini says he asked for Shina's CV so he could help him put it together and show to one of their strategic partners.
Bimpe asks where Shina got the impression he was looking down on him.
Damini tells her to ask Shina.

Sheila is at the spa.

Nero walks in.
She asks what he's doing there.
He says she can't shut him out forever as he has misses her.
Sheila says she's upset with herself not him because they should never have gotten together.
He says he made it clear to Amaka from the beginning that nothing could happen between them.
Sheila says it's all a mess and she can see the headlines already 'Step-mother gets with step-daughters ex.'
He asks when she started caring what other people think.
She says since Amaka came into the equation.
She says they need to face it, Amaka would always comes between them and she can't accept that, so they both know what they need to do.

Brenda is having a meeting with Vicky in her office.
Mimi walks in and apologises for being late.
Brenda ignores her and carries on giving Vicky notes to jot down.
Mimi says they started the meeting without her.
Brenda asks Vicky if she has any questions.
Mimi tries to contribute.
Brenda asks Vicky if she understood the instructions she (Brenda) gave.
Mimi says she needs to be a part of the meeting whether Brenda likes it or not.
Brenda says Mimi is right; she doesn't like it and the meeting has come to an end.
She says Vicky will send her a summary via email.
She tells Vicky to leave and attend to urgent matters.

Sheila returns home.
Freddie comes to sit with her on the couch.
He apologises fir missing the exams.
She holds his hand.
He asks if she's not angry.
She says she's more worried than angry.
He says he had a lot of stuff in his head and decided to take a walk but before he knew it, the exam was over.
She tells him it will be a little harder to get into the university now.
He says yes but there are schools abroad.

Damini and Bimpe return to her place.
He sits on the couch and says he misses his bed.
She asks if he's dissing her bed.
He asks if they are really going to argue about that.

Shina comes in.
There is an awkward silence.

Bimpe asks Shina if he has a problem understanding things.
He asks why she's dissing him.
She asks him to repeat what he said Damini said.
He says Damini said he wouldn't help him because he's a drop out and Damini is looking down on him.
Bimpe says Damini was trying to help him.
Shina says Damini said he wasn't going to introduce him to any contacts because he is a drop out.
Damini said what he said was that it would be more difficult not that he wasn't going to try.
Bimpe tells Shina that his failure to understand simple English almost caused problems for her and Damini.
Shina says he's sorry.
Bimpe tells him to stand up so they can hug it out.
Shina is reluctant.
Bimpe yells at him to stand up.
Shina gets up and hugs Damini.

Sheila asks Freddie if he deliberately missed his exams to school abroad.
He says he's only saying since he has missed the exams...
She asks if he thinks he's clever.
He says he is.
She tells him he's grounded and he should go to his room.

Tessa meets Mimi at Ziggy's.
She asks her what's wrong.
Mimi says she's having the worst day; Brenda thinks she can just cut her off and Charles isn't taking her calls.
Tessa asks if he's doing that to her too.
She asks if it has anything to do with the fact that Odyssey is off the project.
Mimi says she doesn't want to talk about work.
Tessa says she thought Mimi would give her a tip or two since she's doing Mimi's old job.

Brenda is with one of her staff.
She complains that the figures for the reshoot are high.
The staff, Dorothy, says it's the best they can do.
Brenda says it's approved.

Nosa's brother Ehijie, comes to see Brenda at work.
She greets him warmly and asks how things are.
Ehijie says he came to ask for a favour; to see if Kwame can come to spend time with his grandmother and cousins for a week or two.
Brenda says they can start with a week first then see how it goes.
He thanks her and says he's leaving.
She's asks if that's it.
He says Mama has always wanted to spend time with all her grandkids together but didn't know how to ask Brenda.
She tells him to let her know that it's fine.
He leaves.

She calls the receptionist to tell her to move all her meetings for the day.

la!de is having a meeting with Odyssey staff.
Amaka walks in.
One of the staff members says they need to step up their game because Odyssey and Phoenix Prime are doing big things.
la!de says they need to make sure they don't get lost.
Amaka says Reel was established before they came and all their projects are just mere distractions and distractions do not last, only true pedigree does.
She looks at la!de as she's talking.
la!de says pedigree never paid the bills so they can't afford to be too cocky.

Dikibo walks in and asks to see la!de.
la!de asks if there is a problem.
He says he just wants to see her.

la!de asks Amaka if she has anything else to add to the meeting.
Amaka says no.
la!de dismisses the staff then follows Dikibo out.
Amaka watches them with a look of disbelief on her face.

Shina is at Ziggy’s, drinking.
Damini walks in and asks if it's not too early to be drinking.
Shina asks if he's stalking him or came to embarrass him again.
Damini says he comes in peace.
Shina goes to sit at a table.

Damini follows and says he gets it because he also has a younger brother and over time, he realised he deserves more respect even though he's younger.
Shina says the only time he would get Bimpe's respect is when he graduates.
Damini says Shina is lucky he has someone like Bimpe who cares.
He says he would still help him with his CV if he wants.
Damini says he wants.

Bimpe joins them and brings out her phone for a selfie of the 3 of them.
She asks Shina when he started drinking and so early too.

Fumi is in Amaka's office.
She leaves and Amaka suddenly looks bored.
She takes out her phone to call her friend, Ego.
Ego asks how she's been.
Amaka says she's fine
Ego asks how her marriage is going.
Amaka says she will talk to her soon as there is something she needs to attend to.
She hangs up.

Brenda comes to see Serena at home.
Alexis runs to give her a hug.

Brenda asks Serena why she's trying to ruin her company.
Serena says Brenda humilialted her in front of everyone including her daughter.
Brenda says what she said was the truth.
Serena says Brenda is showing no remorse and she's still as old and desperate as ever.
Brenda says it's better than being a young fool; she feels sorry for Alexis who has to put up with a useless mother like her.
Serena gives Brenda a slap.
Brenda moves closer to retaliate but Alexis gets in there middle and tells them to stop it.
Brenda tells Serena that she just crossed the line.
She touches Alexis gently and leaves.
