Shoshanna and Helen are at Salewa's.
Sho looks bored.
She asks Helen how she and Ekene are.
Helen says they are fine.

Sho says they should know she's working on a project.
Helen and Salewa look at themselves and say 'Money.'
Sho asks if that's what they think.
Salewa tells her to write a proposal.
Sho asks if she will give her the money
Salewa says she wants her to do something with her time.
Sho says she doesn't understand how she's stuck with such broke friends.
Helen says probably because she's broke herself.
Zane is at home.

Serena enters the living room and lies on the couch.
Zane leaves his seat and goes to sit by her.
He says he never wanted to hurt her and if she gives it time, she would see that she will be happier without him; he will always be there for Alexis but it will always be Brenda for him.
She scoffs and says if he also gives it time he will see for himself.
He asks what she's done.
She tells him not to blame her for Brenda not wanting him.

He says he knows she wants to lash out.

She says she went to see Brenda when she found out he was going to propose, she went to see her like a fool to beg her to say no.
She laughs and says Brenda didn't need any convincing as she's done.
Zane says she's lying.
Serena scoffs again and says Brenda is not marrying him and wants nothing to do with him.
Maami sees Sho in the living room looking sad.
She asks how the business is going.

Sheila says she wishes things could be different.
St. John asks if she now believes he's innocent.
Sheila ways it's hard not to take Tsavseriously after seeing him that way.

She gets a call from Nero.
He asks to come and over.

Zane walks in and says they need to talk.
She says he's already talking.

He says maybe she should talk to Obiora as he doesn't want him to think he collected money from him and her.
She is shocked that Obiora paid for her.
Zane tells Brenda that he won't make it easy for her.

He sits down in front of her.
She tells him to suit himself.
He says she has to say the words to him.

He looks really hurt as he asks if she said the words to make Serena leave.

Zane's voice is thick with emotions as he says she wins; she hurt him and they are done.

Sheila says even if Nero was crazy enough to pull a stunt like this, did Joanne need to go along with it.

Joanne says she had no choice as she wants to be heard.
She sits and begs Brenda to at least listen.
She says she didn't mean for the spa to change its name completely, just the new branch to give the customers a choice or the illusion of one.
Sheila admits that some customers have stopped coming to the spa due to the scandal.

Helen comes to meet a guy at a restaurant.
He hugs her and pulls a chair for her.
They order for drinks.
The guy asks what's happening with her friends.
She says they are fishing for gist but she just wet their appetite.

Nnenna asks Charles how his meeting went
He says it's nothing of note.
She tells him about a meeting with the HODs.
Victoria calls again to apologise.
Charles says it's okay.
She says she wants to make it up to him over drinks.
He says it's perfect but he has a meeting now.
Nero knocks and asks if it's safe to come in.
Both women shout 'No?'

Joanne thanks Sheila for listening.
Sheila thanks her for being patient.
Joanne tells her to keep Nero as she wouldn't find that many men who would look out for her like he does.
Nero enters and says he can see his little experiment was a success.

Joanne and Sheila hug.
Joanne leaves.
Sheila tells Nero that it was a dangerous stunt he pulled.
He says it worked.
She tells him to consider himself lucky.
She thanks him.
