It was my first time to ever see this brothers this serious. This guys hardly talk. This must be the aunt who caused all the damage done to their mother. “Get out of my house kgadi” the voice came from the stairs. It was Mr Tyson… And he was coming down with his wife. She looked like she has been crying a lot. Red swollen eyes and she sniffed a lot… Her nose was blocked.

Kgadi: we have been waiting for you Jerry…

Mr Tyson: waiting for me to what?

Kgadi: we waited for you to come home and apologise… Then we will take you back.. Thats all mom wanted.

Mr Tyson: apologise… Excuse me you are the one who went nuts on my wife… When she has done nothing.

Kgadi: brother… That wife of yours… Is pure bad luck…

Mr Tyson: well I don’t care… I love her and she loves me, she gave me a family she took care of me and my children and she tolerated any shit I made her go through… So I don’t care if she is bad luck… I am not leaving my wife… Now get the f--k out of my house.

Kgadi: your family needs help… The second child has gone missing in this family again.

Mr Tyson: you want to blame it on my wife?

Kgadi: she made you leave your family…. You even changed your surname because of her. That is the why she is cursed. you know that bad luck will always follow her around…
Henry held me close and i leaned on his shoulders all the other wives were sitted besides their husband looking completely clueless and out of place. Tears poured from mrs Tyson’s eyes and she was losing balance… Mr Tyson held her close to him and she gently pushed him away.

Mrs Tyson: you are right Kgadi… Pulling Jerry from your family was the biggest mistake I ever made… I am willing to do anything to rectify that mistake. What do I have to do?
Her voice was completely weak and sloshed. I felt my heart tear into pieces. This strong woman has a weakness. I took a deep breath. Kgadi smiled.

Kgadi: we are going to do a traditional cleansing of your whole family. Jerry and his family is going to change the surname back to Nkwe. Which is your rightful surname. Then Jerry is going to apologise and you two are going to divorce.

Me: what!

Leonard: dad are you going to let this happen.

The door b@nged open and Zenzele entered he was a mess. Still dressed in hospital clothes.

Leonard: Zenzele… Go to your room we will be with you after this discussion.

Zenzele: yes… You will always be with me from now on and my parents are not divorcing.

Leonard: what are you talking about?
Everyone turned to look at him.

Zenzele: I would like to apologise before I start explaining anything. When I came here I didn’t think any of you will accept me so I decided to become your driver… It seemed like the only way to get close to you.

Kgadi: excuse me who are you?

Sam: our driver… Zenzele can you please excuse us.

Zenzele: I don’t think I was ever going to come out of the closet but when I came here and stood behind that closed door I heard my mother being showered with hurtful words… I heard my mother sacrificing her own happiness which could possibly be because of me.

Henry: stop talking in riddles and get to the point.

Zenzele: I grew up without parents… I started searching for them a month ago and I learned that I was stolen from St Mariam hospital by some woman on the 30th May… 22 years ago so they revealed who my parents are and I was shocked by the answer.
