Monster Unleashed - Season 1 - Episode 43

……CATHY……

As soon as I arrived at the spot where I was certain Justin was going to show up soon, I parked my car behind a block of shops. I then got out of the car and hid behind a huge mango tree. The black outfit I was in came in handy.

After waiting for more than 30 minutes, the bastard arrived. I smiled maliciously.
“This fool,” I mumbled, “his love for sex has literally led him to his death site.”
I watched at a distance as Justin left his car and scanned the area. Slowly, I crept behind him, making sure not to make any noises.
Justin pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed a number. I guessed it was that of the Naomi s--t. Justin had barely placed his phone against his ear when I attacked from behind, covering his nostrils with a cloth sprinkled with chloroform. The chloroform did it’s magic and Justin slumped onto my shoulder. I literally had to drag him to my car.
“What’s up with him?” chorused a man whom I had run into, pointing at the unconscious Justin whose hand was wrapped around my neck.
I smiled. “He’s my husband.” I lied. “And he’s a heavy drinker, this one.”
“Let me assist you to take him to the car then.” said the man, putting his phone in his pocket.

With the aid of the stranger, Justin was placed in the backseat of my car.

“Thanks a lot, sir.” I told the man, getting into my car. “God will bless you.”
The stranger smiled. “He’s such a lucky man to have a wife who cares so much for him. Keep up with the same spirit, ma’am.” he said, beaming at me.

I waved at him and he waved back. I then rolled the window down and off I went.

An hour later, I was seated on a four legged wooden chair which swung me back and forth. Before me was a pile of woods which was one meter high. On top of the woods lay a naked Justin.

On my right was a small table. On top of the table were several stuff, a bottle of vodka, a container of diesel, a lighter, some documents and a tool box.

After what seemed like an eternity, Justin came to. He opened his eyes slowly, scanning his surrounding. When he saw me, he incredulously said, “Mable? What are you doing here?”

He tried getting up but couldn’t as I had him tied to the pile of wood. It was impossible to free himself. But I had left his right hand untied cause he had some papers to sign.
I stood up. “You’re finally awake, baby.” I said, walking over to the pile of woods so that I now stood over him.

“Why are you doing this?” asked Justin, raising his head and glancing at his naked form.

“Good question!” I excitedly said. “But I think what you should ask is who I am.”
Justin sighed. “Humor me,” unfazed, he said, “who are you?”

I smiled. “Am Cathy. Catherine Chilumba. Remember me?”
Justin’s eyes bulged out, he craned his neck so that he was now facing me.

“No way.” he gasped. “It’s not possible! Cathy’s dead. Stop playing these mind games and tell me who the hell you are and what the f--k you want from me!”

Slowly, I took off my mask. Justin winced.
“Remember me now?”
He took a deep breath. “What are you going to do to me?” he asked, a glint of fear in his eyes.

I sighed. “That my dear, you’ll find out soon. Have you seen the beautiful scar you left me with? Never mind, for now, I’ve got a tale to tell.”

I pulled my chair closer and took a seat. Sipping my vodka and sprinkling some on Justin, I told him my story, from the cabin incident to now.
“Yeah, I get it.” Justin snapped when I was done. “You literally went through hell. So?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “So?” I said, laughing harder. “So? So you’ll pay for everything I’ve gone through. My mum’s death, my unborn child’s death, the disfigurement of my face, for thwarting me of my company, everything!”
“You aren’t wicked, Cathy.” said Justin quietly. “So let’s just talk this over. If it’s some company shares you want, I’ll happily hand mine to you. You don’t need to get your hands tainted with blood.”
I shook my head. “Unbelievable!” I exclaimed. “Why didn’t you reason like that when I begged you to spare me a year and a half ago? Why? No matter, what’s done is done. For starters, I’ve got some papers I want you to sign.”

I went over to the small table and grabbed the papers. I asked Justin to sign the power of attorney papers that would leave me with his company shares.

“I’ll sign them on one condition.” said Justin defiantly. “That you untie me.”
“In your dreams.” I calmly replied, going over to the tool box and extracting a pliers. “And to show you that you don’t get to call the shots here,” I added, going back to where Justin lay naked on a pile of wood, “here’s a little example of what am capable of.”

Without second thought, I used the pliers to pull out three of Justin’s toenails. He screamed in pain as I pulled out the nails, dumping them on his naked torso.
“Ready to sign some papers now?” I asked.
Justin nodded and I helped him sign the papers. Justin was now groaning in pain.
