The story I heard weakened me and made me angry at the same time, why was her father and mother shot death ? I don’t think this is just a robbery attack arm robbers don’t just kill people without any reason they will only shot you if you try to confront them I was lost in thought when the voice of precious brought me back, her story is related to mine mine but not the same precious said soberly, please can we hear your own story Hilary asked her with a curious and concerned voice…..

It all started when my grand father died, he was a king and my father was the second child his first child traveled out of the country long time ago he never called anybody for over twenty years and he didn’t even send any message back home and nobody was able to contact him, they think he was dead, my grand father died and my father was crowned the king, three years after my grand father’s death his first son came back home and ordered my father to step down from the throne, he started making problems with my father telling him to step down, my father wanted to step down from the throne but the villagers didn’t allow that claiming that their tradition can never be changed, that a king can only be dethroned if he commits any crime, my father tried to make peace with him but he refused to concur, he threatened that he will deal with my father if he didn’t step down
Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, hours turned to days, days to weeks and weeks to months nothing happened, we all taught that he has finally decided to forget about the throne and move on, one faithful morning the corpse of my father and his wife the queen were found on the kings throne, my father has no male child and am his only child, the villagers had no choice than to crown my father’s brother as their king, immediately he became the king he banished me from the village claiming that am an evil child that I was the one that brought death upon my parents, the villagers pleaded with him to leave me but he refused, so I heard no choice than to leave the village for them

I had no were to go, I just went to the motor park to board a bus to Onitsha, on getting to Onitsha I was kidnapped that same afternoon and locked up in a room, Tanaboy that was how I got to meet you she concluded with a tears dropping from her eyes
I took my gaze away from her and positioned it to Cyndi who was sobbing and listening to precious at the same time I turned to Hilary who was sobbing as well I heaved a big sigh as I stood up and went to the center of the sitting room,

United we stand divided we fall, together we will fight to the end and victory will be ours I said with a very serious tune as I stretched my hands to no one in particular, Hilary stood up and placed his hands on mine precious did the same Cyndi slowly stood up smiling, she placed his hands as well
