KOLA: I’m sorry if I crossed the line Rita.

RITA: Hey common, I’m not angry, just need to take a shower.

KOLA: Hmmm, alright, but please don’t stay too long in there, come down for breakfast.

RITA: Alright thanks.

I turn to leave then he called my name “Rita I turn to look at him “I’m really sorry”

I smiled at him before I went upstairs, I got to my room, I just la!d on my bed feeling my heart beat, it was so fast that someone next to me could even hear it. I wasn’t angry he pecked me, I was just surprise and not been in that kind of situation before made it feel strange.

I fell asleep right there on my bed, I didn’t bath nor brush my mouth, in my sleep I heard a knock but I thought it was a dream. Then the knock didn’t come again, I slept till I started to feel hungry before I woke up. I quickly brushed my teeth, and took my bath. Before I went downstairs.

Immediately he saw me coming down the stairs he ran and met me.

KOLA: I knocked you didn’t answer, I thought maybe you were still mad at me.

RITA: But I told you to forget it, I wasn’t angry, I actually heard you knock but I thought it was a dream.

He gave a long sign,

KOLA: Oh I see, so breakfast has passed, tell me what you would like to eat?

RITA: Anything, I’m very hungry.

He held my hand and took me to the kitchen.

KOLA: Here, sit here while I make you noodles.

RITA: Yummy, I can’t wait. But for how long will you continue to cook for me.

KOLA: As long as you remain my guest.

I smiled, this man is so caring and nice.

RITA: Alright sir, be fast I’m staring.

KOLA: Yes mommy (he laughed)

After lunch, we went back to the living room to play card which I failed and he won. Later in the night, he ask if we should go out for dinner or he prepare something for us to eat.

RITA: No no no, not again kola
We won’t go out to have dinner and you ain’t cooking either.

KOLA: (surprised) so what are we going to eat then?

RITA: I’m cooking tonight. And if you don’t allow me, I will go upstairs and lock myself up for two days (it was actually to make him say yes, you know I can’t na lolz)

KOLA: Haba, it hasn’t gotten to that na, ok you can cook but I will help you.

RITA: No way, you should sit over there on that chair and gist me while I cook.

KOLA: It’s now pay back time right? (laughing)

RITA: Something like that sir (smiling)
We decided to cook fried rice and chicken. I started to cook while kola sat down to gist me.
