Weeks later the husband came down and the bride price was done with an indoor knocking of door, but they refused telling her they will be relocating after that.

Makamba pregnancy is already 9months and Peace has been struggling so hard to hustle for money. Early in the morning, Makamba labour woke Peace up and Peter went for tarry night which he didn’t return. Peace already arranged with a midwife who will help in her delivery, she pleaded with Makamba to control the pains while Peace ran to her place and informed her that Makamba is in labour. For hours Makamba couldn’t deliver and the woman was already tired and suggested she should be taken to the hospital. Peace didn’t have enough money with her as Peter already gave all he had in buying drugs the woman requested for. Peace had to ask the woman to wait so she’ll run to her friend and beg her for money, but the woman wasn’t in the house. With tears she left her place trekking back home with no hope and absent minded until she didn’t know when she crossed the road and she was hit by a car and died at the spot.
The midwife kept waiting for Peace, so she decided to try her luck again begging Makamba who was already weak to push. With all her strength Makamba pushed and the baby came out, she gave out a weak smile and breathed her last.
