She gat one and paid for it, Makamba quickly got it and washed her face but it was still the same. ” mummy no use, Makamba said. “Don’t worry, when you wake up tomorrow you won’t feel it again you hear. They found their way to Anantigha at 11.00pm where they stayed. Makamba junior brother wanted serving them food but Peace was too tired to eat while Makamba was not in the mood of eating at all. The night was a terrible one for both Aniebiet and Makamba. Aniebiet kept visiting her daughter room to check on her while Makamba was awake rubbing her eyes violently. At a certain time, Peace joined her wondering what could be the cause of her swollen, reddish and watery eyes and how the sand came about. Makamba was able to sleep with the help of peace, but at exactly 4.00a.m, Makamba woke up with a scream. Peace woke up too in fear to see Makamba sitting on the bed breathing heavily. ” what is it again?, peace asked. “My eyes, my eyes, mummy where are you?, Makamba asked. ” what do you mean by that?, peace said and brought the lantern closer. “Can’t you see me?, she asked. I can’t see, mummy I can’t see, she shouted. “Is this a joke?, peace shouted on her. “What again Na?, Peter said approaching them. ” can’t you also see your brother?, Peace asked Makamba. “I swear I can’t see anything! Mummy I’m blind!, Makamba cried. Jesus! My enemies have succeeded!, Peace shouted waking the neighbourhood.
