Lucia. Do you know why?” She shifted forward,

“She believes I can help her get back her
freedom.” Anabel fought to hide her despair.

Thelda gulped down her wine, bent over the
bottle and refilled the glass, “You’re not going to arrange for any other person. Lucia is doing it and she won’t fail. She didn’t tell me about Hillary because it’s her secret life.” She sipped her wine and pulled her bangle, “We all have secrets and we do whatever we like with them.

Whatever it’s you’ve against her, put it behind you and pray she pulls through.” She folded her arms, “I’m paying her twenty million Duros immediately she’s done. Get her account number from her and wait for my order to wire the money to her. Hope I’ve such amount at Treasure Bank?”

Anabel managed to conceal her sudden hatred for Thelda and nodded, “Yes ma.”

Thelda smiled, “Good. Do I get you a glass?”

Anabel shook her head, “I’m okay ma.”

Thelda sipped her wine and looked at her,
“Can you excuse me now, I want to pray for
Lucia’s success.”

Anabel nodded, “No problem ma. I’ll be on my way. Will keep in touch.” She placed the strap of her handbag on her shoulder, “Goodbye ma.”

Thelda responded, “Bye,” and Anabel left.
