I walked out of the principal’s
office with a smile on my face,although my decision would deprive me of my rights,i felt i
made the right choice.

Now Paul will finally get what he wants and
i will be free from his troubles.

Luckily i bumped in to him on my
way back,i patted him on the
shoulder and said.

“Congratulations paul,you win.”
He kept looking at me wondering
what i meant,he didn’t get my
point not until closing hours
when the janitor came and took
my name and picture off this
year’s BTAS award nominees.

One look at him and i knew at that
very moment he was extremely
happy and so was i,finally i get to
see a genuine smile on paul’s
face,not the fake one’s he puts
on every morning.

“What do you mean you pulled
out,are you crazy or
something?are you just gonna let
the bad guy win?”Zach was
ranting on our way to the
garage.

“I did the right thing.”I said
smiling.

“No you didn’t,listen an officer
friend of mine once said,’Letting
the bad guys win is never the
answer’.”Zach said.
“I thought it’s violence that’s
never the answer,wait wait wait
is it that same friend of yours
you told me about the one you
met in mexico,tell me about
him,what happened in mexico?”
“Now is not the right time to
start telling you stories,i am still
scolding you.”Zach said.

“Yeah you’re right let’s just go
for dinner,and perhaphs you’ll be
more talkative after that,let’s
go.”I got in my car Zach got in his
and we left for the best
restaurant in town.

Honey buds was not only the
most prestigious restaurant in
town it is a great place to
socialise and meet new people all
in a very beautiful setting.

Zach remembered how when he first
came to this town he came here
to grab a meal and he met the
love of his life jennifer used to
work here as a waitress,this
place held very happy memories
for Zach.

Reverse was the case for Tony
this restaurant remind him of
Lizzy and it hurts to think about
her.They’d come here so many
times in the past.

“Come on let’s go on in.”Zach
said.

They entered the restaurant and
then Tony heard his name been
called he turned around to see
who it was and the person
turned out to be an
angel.Isabella.

“What are you doing here.”Tony
asked Isabella.

“I come here almost every
night.”She said,smiling.

Isabella and Zach exchanged
pleasantries.

They started chatting mostly with
Zach complimenting her
beauty,making a few funny
remarks and Isabella was smiling
and blushing.Tony didn’t feel
comfortable with how close this
two were bonding.

“Did i forget to tell you that
Zach’s married with a kid.”Tony
interrupted.

“Oh really tell me about
em.”Isabella told Zach.

Then Zach spoke a bit about his
family.

Tony felt more relieved when
Zach spoke about his family,but
Zach soon changed the conversation.

“Tell me about your family.”Zach
said.

“Well i’m a single child and i’m
still a single lady so my only
family are my parents but they
don’t live close by.”Isabella said.

Tony began getting uneasy again
this time angry he felt Zach was
performing his role,he felt he
should be the one asking Bella
this questions,he should be the
one putting a smile on her face.

Tony got on his feet,”Can i have a
word with you Zach?”he said.
“Go ahead.”Zach said.
“Privately.”

“I will be right back me lady.”Zach
said to bella and followed Tony
to the men’s room.

“What do you think you are
doing.”Tony yelled at Zach the
moment they were alone.

“What’s wrong dude,keep your
voice down.”

“What were you doing flirting
with bella,for the love of god
Zach you already have a wife.”

“Listen i wasn’t flirting with her i
was just been nice to her and it
was only because she stood up
for you.”Zach replied.
(Silence.)

“Oh my gosh Zach what’s wrong
with me,here i am yelling at my
best friend in the whole world
and i just don’t understand why i
am feeling this way,Zach tell me
why is my heart beating so fast i
just don’t get it.”Tony said.
“The reason is not far fetched pal
it’s called jealousy.”Zach said.
“Jealous?of what?”Tony asked.
“Tony even though you could
give your position and throphy
to your enemy without much as a blink of an eye,you can’t bear seeing a woman you love with
your friend.”

“Does it mean?”
“Yes Tony,you are in love with
Bella.”

“but i didn’t feel this way when i
was with lizzy.”

“This one’s called true love.”Zach
said.

Their was a knock at the door.

“I am leaving guys,it was nice
hanging out with you guys
tonight.”Isabella said and left.

“Zach i think i might be inlove
with her.”Tony said.
