El Crow slammed the door shut before any of the two could change positions. He stayed behind that door, trying to convince himself what he just saw wasn’t real. It’s the illusions trying to penetrate him again.
Definitely the illusion.
He began walking away, but each step he took down the corridor reminded him that he has unlocked his powers completely, so there’s no reason for him to get illusions anymore.
He paused, grinded his fists, then turned around and walked back to the office. He threw it open with his boot, meeting the two who’re already trying to pack themselves up.
“On a second thought!” El Crow tossed himself at them.
He landed a eye-spinning punch on Castle’s face, and Castle’s glasses shattered to bits, falling off his eyes. He was so lucky none of the shards entered his eyes, but he wasn’t so entirely lucky cos the second lunch met his mouth almost immediately.
“Brayden!” Arturo pulled him from behind. “Please… Brayden c’mon!”
El Crow didn’t have to face him. His mind power was enough to tear Arturo’s grip away from him.
Further, Arturo was flung from the floor to the air, and from the air, his body crashed into his glass coffee desk and shattered with him.
“El Crow!!!” Castle yelled in horror with his bursted mouth.
El Crow turned to him, the beam from his eyes making him step back twice, gulping nervously.
“Brayden…” Arturo muttered weakly from the floor, trying to get up.
“You both are nothing but bloody disgusting fuckers who should be out there begging the trees for wasting their breeze on y’all!” El Crow yelled, pointing at Arturo. “And don’t you ever, act like you know me! Delete my number! Delete my fuckin number!!!!” He yelled.
Then he stormed out of the office, driving his hands crazily into his hair as he rushed down the corridor.
But Arturo bursted out of the office with bloody body, running after him.
“Brayden! You have to listen to me! You can’t… Brayden!”
He increased his pace till he was right behind him. He tried to hold his elbow, but El Crow turned.
“I swear if you fucking touch me, I’ll flat out kill you! I told you to stay off motherfucker!”
“It wasn’t something I just woke up one day and decided to do!” Arturo explained fast.
“Of course you went on thinking marathon for three days and three nights before you decided to start fucking Castle! Castle!!” El Crow yelled furiously at his face.
“It’s been years, Brayden.” Arturo swallowed. “It’s been years since i went sexual with anyone. I didn’t even go sexual with Marisa when we were married cos she didn’t allow it, so you know it’s been too fucking long since I had anybody!”
“There are lots of females out there who’d be dying to be with your fine face what the fûck!” El Crow shrieked. “You promised you were gonna get your bixesual stuff in check and only keep to your female-loving side!”
“Brayden…
“Both of my parents are bixesual, and you know how that affected me back when i was 5! I was so confused about my sexuality that I began thinking I was bixesual too and I….”
El Crow stopped, biting himself so deep on the lip he bled.
“I don’t even wanna recal what I did just because I wanted to be like my parents! When you found out, you made a promise that you’d keep to your female-loving side from then on just to settle my confusion!”
“I didn’t break the promise on purpose!” Arturo cried. “Trust me, I didn’t plan to like Castle. But I like Castle, and this has been going on for months now. You can’t control who you get entangled with just the way you couldn’t contain your entanglement with the bloodbank girl from Dread House!”
El Crow’s eyes further changed after that statement. His blow found Arturo’s face, and he punched the man to the wall violently.
Arturo landed on the floor with a bleeding jaw.
“She’s Skylaar, not bloodbank! Watch your damn mouth!” El Crow spat.
“See what I’m talking about?” Arturo looked up. “It’s this deep?”
“We’re fuckin knotted, of course it’s normal to feel this way!” El Crow hissed and faced the exit.
“The knot only makes you feel lust and sexual attraction, Brayden. It doesn’t make you angry when someone calls her bloodbank! It doesn’t make you come to the underground just to carry her, and it definitely won’t make you kill Roselle for her!” Arturo shouted after him.
El Crow stopped, and threw his father a little look. “Go back to fucking Castle before your dick softens…”
With that, he left the house.
As he got back in his car, the first thing he touched was his steering. His fist slammed right into it, pressing down the honk unintentionally.
“Fuckkkk!!!!” He howled, throwing his head back to the headrest.
The last time he came here on the night of the attack when he went to Kent’s room to ask him why he suddenly became unsociable, Kent had told him it was about something he saw inside Arturo’s office.
Though, he wasn’t specific.
This must be it. Does that mean Arturo and Castle threatened Kent to never speak up? That must be why Kent was shaken and tragically silent.
“Fuck…” El Crow cussed again, holding the steering tight.
His phone sounded in his pocket, and he pulled it out hurriedly.
Skylar sent him a reply to his text.
Skylaar: I’m trying to create a IG account. I haven’t had one before. I don’t want to use Skylar Vox… I’ve never liked the name anyways. Give me username suggestions..be fast.
He smiled immediately he read it. Funny how a single text from her could lighten him up totally.
He nearly started typing, but she sent another message immediately.
Skylaar: Nevermind. I got an idea already. Come back fast though.
He chuckled at this one, stroking the phone and deciding it was time to drive to the clinic, but he received another buzz on his phone.
Thinking it’s her again, he quickly lifted the phone, only to see it’s from his ARDEN executive.
He had texted him this morning for investigation about the pictures he saw inside Jethro’s inner office.
He picked the call fast.
“What’s up?”
“I’m about to send you Agatha’s picture from thirty years ago,” the executive said in a breath.
El Crow lowered his phone from his ear, holding on as he went to his received items to check the picture.
His brows curved, and he nearly couldn’t believe his eyes.
He returned to the call. “That was Agatha the blind cleaning woman?”
“Yeah. That was her from thirty years ago. As you can see, she was insanely beautiful. And as we all know, your mother Marisa is currently still the most beautiful woman in this city. Then…the Queen of Great Britain…it’s a known story that she’s greatly envied and hated by the people of Britain not only because of her roots, but because of her unparalleled beauty.” The executive explained.
“The common factor linking the pictures I saw on the walls of Jethro’s office walls is the fact that they’re all beautiful?” El Crow said.
“Yes.” The executive sighed. “And they all have only one child. Marisa has you. The Queen of Great Britain gave birth to a baby girl who died immediately she was birthed, so the royal family had to adopt Princess Charlotte. But still…she have birth to a child nevertheless…”
“And Agatha?” El Crow asked.
“Agatha gave birth, but I honestly have nothing about her baby. I don’t know if it’s dead or alive,” the executive explained again.
“The other day when I unmasked for the final time at Jethro’s house, I read her mind, and I found something interesting,” El Crow said. “Don’t worry. I know who her child is.”
“Good,” the executive sounded. “So the women in Jethro’s office are all pretty and they have one children each. Why the fûck is he obsessed with beautiful single mothers?”
“We know more about Marisa and Agatha, but we only know limited information on the Queen of Great Britain. Why don’t you focus on her for now and leave Agatha and Marisa for me to handle?” El Crow said.
“Alright sir,”
“And while focusing on the Queen, I need you to run checks on red fox birthmarks. Just get everything you can get about them and what kind of family has them globally…”
“Yes sir.”
The call ended, and El Crow dropped his phone, driving out of the park.
