[Jethro’s House]
Bellatrix was restless.
As restless as she has never tasted.
One hour to this time, it’d be time to return El Crow’s necklace, but she has nothing to return.
She doesn’t even know where the necklace currently is.
She already turned the room upside down in blind search of it, thinking it fell before she went for the wedding.
But no sign of it.
El Crow is currently in the bathroom, and she’s trying to find it before he’d come out.
She was shaking a lot.
She planned to get a cuddle session from him once they came back from the drive, but now cuddle isn’t even in her mind with this fear.
What if he gets really, really mad?
Jethro mandated everyone to come watch a show at the pit in ten minutes, but she doesn’t even know if she’d be able to go with this search.
She lifted the bedspread again.
Meanwhile, inside the bathroom, El Crow’s mind was doing clocked.
He hadn’t noticed before, but now he was noticing. Jethro’s room is soundproof cos he has never heard a sound come out of it. This room is not soundproof. Then, Skylar’s room is not soundproof too. The next room that houses the top staffs are soundproof, and it goes on in that pattern. Meaning whatever he’s looking for is probably in the direction of the rooms.
Maybe the kids are trapped somewhere only the sounds can decide, but how would he be able to learn the house sounds without Bellatrix’s help? He can’t rush things though. He’d have to continue pretending to be a husband for a few more days before he’d start his stylish investigations on what she knows.
And she better get his necklace ready.
—
Skylar is in her bathroom too, trying to get her night shower before she’d go to the pit to watch whatever show Jethro had for them.
But she’s finding it hard to bath. Not only could she not take her mind off how El Crow was able to take them out of the freezing river, but her body still couldn’t forget his mouth.
The feeling of being left on edge.
The desperation got her so bad she slid her own fingers into herself, trying to test the feels.
But the fingers didn’t spend two minutes inside her before she pulled out, punching the wall frustratingly.
Geez.
This desperation isn’t good.
This hunger.
This thirst for something bad for her health.
But she still wants it anyways. She punched the wall again.
This time, she noticed something.
When she punched for the first time earlier, it made a low sound on the wall, but this new punch made the wall echo.
She began punching the wall on every spot. Surprisingly, every spot had different sounds.
Sounds?
Is this a sound house? How does one even build this type?
Maybe if she traces the sounds, she’d find Jethro’s secret room. Maybe she’d find the other kids. But she needed Bellatrix on this.
She left the bathroom, dried up and threw on something comfy.
She ventured outside, but immediately she stepped out, she met who she never expected.
“I can’t see you, but my skin recognize your aura, Skylar…” The cleaning woman said stonily.
“Cleaning woman?” Skylar frowned, remembering what El Crow told her about this woman.
“She’s my first gift to you.” Jethro appeared suddenly. “I heard you both were pretty close at Dread House, so I brought her to you… she’d be your personal maid from now on.”
Skylar resisted the urge to laugh.
Good formation, Jethro.
Nice one.
A watcher in form of a maid? But then if she was working for Jethro, why didn’t she tell him about Eden?
She was even the one who registered Eden at Montgomery Nurseries.
She doesn’t understand.
“What do you think?” Jethro asked.
“I didn’t ask for a maid.” Skylar fully stepped out of her room.
At the same time, El Crow and Bellatrix came out of their room with Bellatrix’s head on El Crow’s arm.
“Sky!” She beamed happily.
Skylar’s mood ruined.
This Cinderella is always happy. What’s so good to smile about?
Her eyes met El Crow’s, but El Crow looked like he was calculating something. Their eyes didn’t meet.
Jethro’s arm went around Skylar’s waist suddenly. She didn’t even fight him. There’s too much going on in her mind right now.
“I thought my wedding day was the best day of my life, but it’s actually today!” Bellatrix gushed.
Skylar sighed.
There she comes…
With her happy-go-lucky stories.
“My husband spent all day with me and bought me everything I pointed. He showed me around New Orleans and we went to the movies!”
Skylar’s mouth felt bitter. So her husband didn’t tell her the part where he sucked her p+ssy on a boat in the middle of Mississippi river?
He didn’t tell her the part where he refused to let her cum? Or the part where he took her out of the water?
Bellatrix continued her story, but Skylar wasn’t listening.
Her eyes were stylishly studying the walls of every line they cross.
Then, she noticed El Crow was secretly doing the same thing.
Maybe he got the sound logic too.
Their eyes finally meet.
El Crow immediately tasted her cûnt in his mouth, and she felt his warm mouth between her legs.
They looked away at once.
Jethro and his staffs led them into the pit, and for a money, they were flabbergasted by the door.
The pit wasn’t just a room. It was a hall designed for iniquitous beings.
A hall painted with blood, and one look at it, Skylar and El Crow knew it was human blood.
This hall is painted with human blood.
Human skulls of different sizes and colours, both fresh and old lay around scattered on the bloody floor.
It looked like hell.
Two giant dogs sat quietly at a corner—a male and female dog.
The female obviously just gave birth, and she’s breastfeeding her puppies.
“Welcome to Jethro’s pit!” Jethro widened his arms mightily.
“Thanks for introducing this pit tonight, Jethro…” El Crow smiled darkly. “It’s been a while since I experienced hell. Shock me.”
“Of course!” Jethro raised an hand, and the staffs opened the backdoor where another spectacle waited.
Roy.
He was tied up to a giant protractor, and he dangled from there.
His body hung on the edge of a cliff.
If the ropes on him goes down even for a bit, he’d fall off.
Even with the fact that it was nighttime, Skylar saw the fog flowing in like smokes. She felt the cliff side breeze on her body.
It blew her hair and Bellatrix’s hair to their faces, and Bellatrix quickly hid behind El Crow.
It wasn’t her first time here, but whenever she entered, she feared.
She hugged El Crow behind, hiding her face on his back. “I’m so scared!”
“This house was built on top of a cliff?” Skylar walked closer.
“It doesn’t look like it from the front, but inside like this, you could feel it….” Jethro explained.
Skylar took the last step towards Roy’s dangling body.
She stepped the cliff edge had looked down, witnessing the height.
If anyone falls here, it’s death in pieces cos the person would shatter.
“I like it….” Skylar’s eyes glittered with madness. “I love it!”
“I knew you would!” Jethro laughed, sharing the mad eye glint with her.
Behind them, Bellatrix was still hugging El Crow behind.
El Crow looked glued to a place, waiting for what was to happen.
Skylar grinned at Roy, remembering how she promised to make him and Roselle pay for bullying Renee and Quincy into intimacy.
Time is now.
“Pushing him down the cliff would be too fast and merciful. Get me a metal piece and a hammer. I’m drilling a hole in his head, and get me a microscope too. Through the hole, I’ll watch his his brain plays in his skull.”
Hearing the verdict, Roy screamed horrifically from the protractor, his voice breaking through the cliff.
“I love this!!!” Jethro laughed loudly at Skylar who was glaring at Roy “You see this is why I choose you!”
“What!” Bellatrix panicked behind El Crow. “She’d… really do that?”
El Crow remained where he stood. Only that now he had a slight curl on the corner of his lips.
He liked wicked girls.
He liked his girls merciless and creative with their tortures. He expected her to mention a boring torture, but she exceeded his expectations totally.
Moths chase lights—just like her.
Difference is that she chases pleasure together with it.
Pleasure in form of madness.
Falena.

[Next Day – Enigma House]
Enigmas created a after-party for El Crow without his knowledge.
His plan was to come here to join the trainings for the second tournament since he’d be entering the ring again, only for them to pop champagne on him and smash bourbon bottles around, giving him a pop after-party to congratulate his wedding.
Bellatrix insisted on following him here, and as for Skylar, she’s probably at Dread House too.
Bellatrix immediately became thankful that she followed him here. As she watched them idolize El Crow and sing praises and congratulations to him, she felt like a proud wife.
“This party is only allowed to be on for an hour. After an hour, the trainings have to resume.” El Crow instructed strictly as he lifted a piece of cookies to his mouth.
“Drop your strictness tonight at least.” Castle grinned.
“Drop the strictness and watch us lose the second tournament too?” El Crow drank from his cocoa drink.
“We won’t lose. It’s definite.” Blade said with a laugh.
“I second that notion!” Lovato shot up. “That day, I’ll announce my boyfriend in this team!”
Bishop’s eyes came up immediately. He secretly bit his tongue.
“Boyfriend?” El Crow scoffed. “I left for how many days and you already have a damn boyfriend?”
Castle brought out a cigarette and lit it up, smoking slowly.
Lovato smiled sheepishly.
Bishop lifted his beer cup to his lips, sipping quietly.
“Kent?” El Crow noticed his absence. “Where the fûck is Kent?”
“I swear it’s like something suddenly descended on him. He got quiet these days,” Blade informed.
El Crow left the X Point immediately, making his way to Kent’s floor.
Bellatrix made to follow him, but Lovato blocked her.
“Hey …” Bellatrix smiled.
“Hey, Mrs. Acheron…” Lovato waved with a very fake smile. “So as you can see, El is our ace and golden fighter here. You might be Jethro daughter, but if you disappoint him, you won’t last a day before dying mysteriously while crossing the road.”
Bellatrix smiled innocently again, but then her smile paused.
“You smell desperate, Lovato. Don’t talk to me about my husband.”
With that, she left the hall.
“What the….” Lovato blinked.
As Bellatrix walked through the corridor, the eyes of Enigma girls weighted her. They openly calculated how much they’d make if they stole her jewelries and shoes to sell.
If her guards were here, they wouldn’t dare say these things, but at the same time, she’s madly happy about her guards absence.
Zero suffocation.
Now, she only has to find her husband, but that became a really dark nightmare when things flipped.
From the backdoor of the house that hadn’t been opened for years, blue-haired men with tattoed elbows poured inside suddenly.
It was swift. Unexpected. Planned.
Definitely planned.
They were led by a masked man who wore a black gemmed female dress.
Gunshots shattered the atmosphere. That was enough to make mayhem rise in the house.
The Enigmas on banisters jumped down. The ones on the rooftop jumped down. The ones in their rooms ran down. The ones inside the bathroom ran out in towels.
No one hid.
“Oh my God!” Bellatrix covered herself with her arms by the wall as the echo of gunshots drummed the air like violent knockouts.
Gunpowder smelled.
Bullets tumbled.
Blood smeared the walls.
Three Enigmas went down since they weren’t with guns.
Blade and Bishop and Castle and Lovato ran out of the X Point with the others. Blade picked a metal ball from the floor and threw it at the ceiling. The ceiling broke.
Guns poured out.
Long. Short. Silent.
They poured.
This wasn’t a hand fight. Their intruders came with guns, so they went for guns too.
Each one picked the guns they could handle, and things turned bloodier.
Everyone in that street knew something was happening in Enigma House as the war-like gunshots rolled from the house.
At Dread House, all Dreads are at the balcony, rooftop, roof…all looking for ways to see what’s going on inside the Enigma House.
Enigma House was a war zone.
“I can’t use this!” Lovato complained, struggling with her gun.
She expected Castle to exchange guns with her, but he never answered.
“Catch!” Bishop threw his gun at her.
She threw her own too.
They exchanged guns, but before he could catch her gun, he got shot on the stomach.
“Bishop!” She shouted.
Bishop held his stomach with an hand and shot with the other.
“Young Miss! Go up!” Blade shouted at Bellatrix who was still by the wall.
He covered her as she ran up the stairs in the middle of the chaos.
Castle stood on top of a floor locker, releasing his wrath from there. He removed his glasses.
The blue-hair men fell, and Enigmas fell too…. noticeably.
El Crow and Kent came downstairs finally. They’ve heard the war from the top floor and had rushed here.
Kent didn’t wait.
He jumped over the staircase and hijacked a gun from a blue-hair.
He knocked him down and rolled over, shooting out his brains.
El Crow stood there. He looked lethargic. Like a cooking disaster.
His eyes were on the blue-hair men, but not all of them.
His eyes was on just one—the one who wore the gemmed black dress.
That was enough to tell him they’re from Marisa, and the purpose of wearing his dress is to mess with his head again and lower his guard.
And it was already happening.
He was already getting flashbacks and headache and skull rings.
He was already preparing to break and shatter for the trauma.
But not tonight.
Not tonight at all.
He’s done taking it.
He shut his eyes suddenly.
It was only for a minute.
One dangerous minute.
Then, the darkest clouds gathered in the sky outside. The coldest wind blew the city. The loudest thunder in existence tore the sky. The heaviest rain in the sky started.
He opened his eyes.
Right one glinted blue
Left one glinted red.
Like two demonic bulbs with duties. They shone devilishly.
His didn’t run. He jumped down the staircase. From there to the base.
He jumped, and the place he landed on cracked slightly.
With his mindpower, a cage formed in the middle of the corridor. He didn’t even have to talk.
He only messed with their minds, and the blue-hair men began entering the cage one by one. They formed a line.
El Crow bent a bit and picked a apple seed from the floor. He’s just gonna bury these men together and then plant the apple on top of the soil.
They’d serve as manure.
He wrapped his hand around the seed, watching as the last of the blue-hair men entered the cage.
“El Crow!” Arturo ran downstairs. His eyes widened when he saw what was happening. “No no no!!!! No. El! No! You know you shouldn’t! You know!!”
“They were sent by Marisa to mess up again! I’m just supposed to sit?” El Crow’s eyes glinted faintly again.
“I’m not against your fighting back, but we both know what’s going to follow!!” Arturo shouted. “We both know why I warned you to never use this unwanted power! Millions will come for you! Millions!!”
El Crow’s eyes calmed.
“Quick! Mask the power back! We have to mask it before you’re found! Get intimate with an Apex!”
“And I’m supposed to start running around the streets tonight looking for a damn Apex?” El Crow snarled.
“Bellatrix!” Arturo shouted. “She’s Apex! Her father informed me of her fragility before she married you!”
“What!” El Crow sounded.
—
[Jethro’s House]
The rain was still heavy.
The thunder still slashed aggressively.
From the moment it started two minutes ago, Jethro got the sign.
He knew what it meant immediately.
The ApexPlus.
The one he’s been waiting for.
No idea where he is, but It’s this rain that’d lead him to where he is.
He rushed out of the house without an umbrella. His staffs had to run after him with umbrellas.
Getting to the park, he felt swarms in the sky and looked up to see more than thousands spirits, taking lead from the rain and looking for the ApexPlus that just appeared.
“Follow the lead of the rain!” He shouted at his driver. “We must get to whatever he is first!”
They got in cars and engines purred to life as they drove out.

[Enigma House – El Crow’s Suite]
Bellatrix sat on the bed edge, covering her ears with her palms.
She was glad she followed him here before, but now she’s not sure. What’s with the gunshots?
Her dad shoots at home, but it’s definitely not this much. Here, it looked like a gunshots carnival.
The door opened suddenly, and she shot up from bed quickly.
El Crow entered.
“El?” She breathed, running to him. “Baby, are you ok?”
El Crow gave her a empty look.
He came here straight for business, and he’s not gonna stall.
“Strip, Bella,” his voice was hard.
“Huh?” Her throat dried.
He gave it a second thought and stepped back. “Forget it.”
“Wait!” She shook her head quickly. “You own my body, literally.”
She stripped like he said, and the next thing she experienced was a rigid push to the window.
She put her hands on the hinges, and he shifted her panty.
His dick went buried in her folds very quick, settling inside.
“Baby…” She cried.
El Crow’s hips rotated as he made to start moving, but when he looked up… Across his window.
Skylar stood there.
She stood by her own window, holding a pack of maltesers and watching them with a serial-killer thrill in her cold eyes.
