[Daybreak – Hospital]
Bexley still hasn’t been allowed to enter the ward.
In fact, the protection over Saint in the ward has doubled now.
One would think it’s the President’s son inside.
But Bexley isn’t the only waiter in the hall, there’s also Dora who has also been waiting since last night.
She didn’t leave, and Bexley didn’t say a word to her. Dora kept up the energy and just sat, awaiting when the doctors would let her in.
She’d have used her influence as a Redd family member, but her family is still in crisis and receiving heavy criticism from the public.
In fact, they’re only a notch away from getting arrested, so she could only wait here without a fight.
The doctor appeared at 8am, entered the ward, and came out after about ten minutes. The girls rushed to him.
“How’s he doing!” They asked at the same time.
“The doctor ignored them both and took the other way.
“I brought him here!! I shouldn’t be treated like this!!” Bexley yelled.
“Aren’t you a big piece of badluck?” Dora faced her. “He’s been operating fine, but you appeared, and he’s suddenly shot?”
“Dora Redd or whatever,” Bexley faced her angrily, glaring. “I’m not in the mood to talk to madhouse patients right now, bounce!”
“You’re full of guts it’s disgusting,” Dora snarled.
“Of course I’m full of guts,” Bexley scoffed disgustingly. “I’m free of police charges, and my family isn’t a criminal family who did cruel things to their daughter!”
Dora’s face squeezed.
“Liquid soap? Abortion pills at 14?” Bexley shook her head. “I can’t believe I once hated Seraphina. Y’all deserve to be in rehab in that family, I can’t fuckin’ stand you…”
Bexley grabbed her bag.
“Yunno what? Stay here with him and let’s see if you’ll be let in. I’ll come back whenever he wakes.”
She walked out, and Dora bit herself deeply on the tongue.

[Xero’s Mansion]
Tino stood by the drawn curtains of his room, nails in mouth as he stared outside the window, troubled.
His father came for him since yesterday, and of course he feels safe in this house, but he’s worried about Saint. Too worried to rest.
He can’t sleep nor eat. Bathing is even a problem for him right now.
He but into the flesh of his nails, and blood erupted a little.
He withdrew the finger with a little wince, and Xero entered.
Tino turned.
“Dad?”
“The maids said you told them you’re not gonna eat breakfast too. Valentino, you didn’t eat dinner too last night.” Xero said worriedly.
Tino sat in his bed, brushing his hair away from his face slightly.
“I wonder how Saint is doing…”
Xero sat beside him. “The junior brother of the St. Graves?”
Tino didn’t reply.
“I’m not the real Leader of Valhalla.” Xero confessed.
Tino looked at him.
“You know Williams of the St Graves family?” Xero continued.
“You mean their Uncle Will?” Tino responded.
Xero nodded.
“His son is the real Leader. That cruel motherfucker is our real boss, and I’m just his right-hand man.”
“Place his cruelty and the cruelty of Tobias on a scale, which is heavier? Who’s more scary?” Tino asked.
“I honestly can’t say….” Xero sighed. “I guess we’ll just wait for them to play it out, and it’s soon gonna happen.”
Tino nodded.
“You want to to send someone to secretly watch how Saint is doing and report to you?” Xero asked.
Tino gasped.
“You can do that?”
Xero smiled. “Son, I mightn’t be the club Leader, but I’m not completely useless. I can even take Saint for you completely and get you both married if you want, then I’ll send you both to Vietnam even if it means crippling him so he won’t be able to run.”
“You can really do that?” Tino spranged up eagarly.
“Just promise me you’ll never, ever call or go back to your mother.” Xero implored.
Tino gulped, nodding.
“I promise.”
