[Valhalla Club]
An obvious crack had split the usual order of this place.
Leader sat on his throne, not with his usual predatory calm.
Now, there’s heat.
There’s something waiting to be settled. There’s a disturbance in form of a human.
Wrath.
Silence clung to Leader as he sat there, encircled by Serpents whose fury had nowhere to go.
They don’t have Tobias in their grasp anyways. All they could do was boil.
They’d seen what the Odds did to the fake Serpents they sent.
A camera planted inside the destroyed limousine had shown them everything.
“We wanted Odium stupid people back, and now they’ve returned with a move we never anticipated. But this is only the opening scene of an endless war.” Grilled Teeth spoke through clenched jaws.
“Two months ago, I brought up your hidden son, Leader.” Dyed Hair hummed. “I suggested sending him out of the country and ending his mother’s life. You said no.”
“And you think distance would’ve protected him?” Grilled Teeth scoffed. “Cut the crap. The priority now is getting him back.”
“Should we involve the Redds?” a Serpent at the back asked.
“No.” Grilled Teeth shut it down immediately. “We were supposed to clear Seraphina for the Redds, but we released her because of Leader’s son. We’ll deal with this ourselves.”
The room fell still again, and every eye drifted toward the silent Leader.
On his throne, unmasked, his fingers tightened around a cigar.
“I’m eager to see what he’s going to do to my son.” He voiced out.
“Leader!” Grilled Teeth snapped. “Give the order, and we’ll storm that church. Slaughter the workers. Slaughter the worshippers. Leave Wrath standing among the corpses he loves so much.”
“I just said I’m eager to see what he’s going to do to Tino.” The cigar returned to Leader’s mouth. “The wounds he leaves on him will determine the scale of my response. Relax. Wrath knows exactly what he’s doing. So do I.”
He took a slow drag from his blunt, and smoke crawled upward, staining the air above him.
“For now, prepare Dean’s invitation. And prepare a complete record of the sins for him.”
“Got it.” Dyed Hair stepped away and disappeared into a dark room.
Grilled Teeth exhaled sharply.
He hates when Leader became measured like this.
Because every time he did, something terrible followed.

[Unknown Cabin]
Saint remained on the sawdust-covered floor, but he’s silent now because these Rednecks aren’t worth the effort.
At one point, he even slept off, expecting to wake up to Tino storming in with the rest of the Asphalt Kings.
Tino has a tracker on his phone.
He has one on Tino’s too.
They did it so neither could disappear without the other knowing, which means Tino should’ve been here already.
But he’s not here.
That coward better not be curled up and cowardly sick over what happened at the Church.
Tino could lose his stomach over the smallest splash of blood.
The Rednecks still hovered around Saint, grumbling about why the Priest hadn’t shown up yet.
They probably called Tobias and tried threatening him, expecting him to come running.
Saint let out a groan.
“Look, cō+kheads,” he finally said. “You have to matter before Toby takes your threats seriously. You think some gutter gang like y’all can drag him out into this freezing night just to waste bullets? Your confidence is almost impressive.”
The boot of a Redneck crashed fatally into his mouth.
“Fû+k!” Saint spat blood.
Bexley is going to pay dearly for this madness.
Painfully.
“Strip him,” another Redneck ordered. Maybe the new leader.
The others moved in to do the stripping.
Saint tensed up, ready to strike with his bound legs, but then the cabin swallowed a new crowd.
More bodies filed inside, but they’re not Rednecks.
These ones look like professional killers—hitmen.
“The f+k are y’all?” one Redneck demanded.
No answer.
The last hitman stepped in.
Then, Dora entered.
She stepped through like royalty arriving for an execution.
Dora Redd.
The celebration was still raging thunderously at the penthouse, but the hitman she assigned to watch Bexley reported to her the moment Saint was brought here.
Her phone tracker confirmed it.
So she came herself.
“Touching my muse?” she smiled. The expression never reached her eyes.
“Death wish approved.” She roared, gaze swept across the room before she dropped the order….
“Kill every last one.”
Chaos erupted.
Rednecks against Dora’s hitmen.
Steel clashed with gun, and blood splashed the cabin surfaces.
On the floor, Saint grunted. “Bitch.”
Outside, Dean’s car rolled to a stop.
He stepped out with his guards and sent them inside immediately.
He had received Tobias text, and not like he takes orders from anyone, but he started this stuff.
He handed the Rednecks the raiding contract of Tobias Rectory.
Now he’s here to end it.
He was heading in when his phone vibrated with a hospital notification.
Kelly is awake.
He halted, and his mind went to Seraphina. Is she fine with the Valhalla people?
He snapped out of it immediately.
Why the hell is he bothered about Seraphina when he just got the text about Kelly’s awakening?
Another vehicle pulled up, and Uncle Will stepped out.
Dean’s frown deepened.
“Uncle Will?”
