Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 70

[Present Time]

Jeremy shut his eyes.

He wouldn’t have met her if he didn’t come to RIDE? BullSh|t.

He wouldn’t have fallen for her if he didn’t see her on that ruined concert night? Crap.

He has been eyeing her since she was 17, and nothing has changed.

A fool for love? Yeah, he’ll claim the crown proudly.

But what he won’t allow is letting anyone hurt her.

He’ll drown in the pits of hell just to make sure Cove dies off.

His stretcher was wheeled into the theater, and the double doors slid to a tight close.

Angela and the rest of the crew stood outside the door, waiting and hoping for success.

A nurse came inside with a message which she whispered into Angela’s ears…. “Miss Montana from LA sent a message through her guard to wish Dorian a successful surgery. And if the surgery is already successful, she wishes him quick recovery, and she also apologized on behalf of Co—”

“Enough!” Angela raised her hand.

The nurse stepped back. She didn’t say more before leaving.

Angela scoffed.

“That slimy brat should stay with that mad boy. Rian is fine with me.” She muttered possessively.

[Los Angeles, A Goth Bookstore]

Stacy had no idea they were coming here, but she definitely loves the idea of reading horror books with Cove.

She still has no idea how he found out about her love for horror movies and books, but who cares?

There’s a lotta things he just won’t tell her, and she’s gonna rummage bit by bit till she’ll be able to unravel him.

The bookshop is an exclusive one with beds and pillows for readers, but when they arrived, there was only one bed left.

Thanks to RIDE holiday today, this place is filled.

They took the one bed, and while he sat right, she lay down, head on top of his laps.

‘Hymn Of Bones’ is the title of the book he’s currently holding.

He’s just staring at it like he doesn’t understand what’s inside.

His second hand is under her clothe, rubbing her breàsts coldly.

“If you don’t like this one, we can just pick another one,” she said.

“It’s just gonna be the same boring Sh|t, a potent way to kill one’s brain cells. Why would anyone read this piece of Sh|t?” He talked down.

“Don’t you dare talk down on my horror books that way!” She snapped, wanting to snatch the book.

He raised it up, and she wanted to lift herself from his lap to collect it, but he pressed her nîpple, and she winced, backing down.

“Ah!”

“Be good,” he smirked, lowering his hand and opening the book.

It’s about a village of ghosts who survive by eating human bones…

“Why the fûck would they pick human bones as their survival food when there’s flesh?” He muttered.

“Cos that’s what they want, over-dominant freak. Not everything will work the way you want it, duh.” She replied.

“But you’re working exactly the way I want you.” His eyes bored into hers. “You think of me when I’m absent, you miss me when you don’t see me, your pvxxy drips at the sight of me, and my cruelty makes you horny. Admit it, that night when you saw me burning that Camry man in the woods, you were turned on…” He chanted rawly.

Stacy clenched her thighs together, not bothering to reply him, but he saw that clench, and he smirked.

She adjusted her head on his laps, and his palm kneaded her Brë@št. The second hand has dropped the book, and that hand is in her hair now, stroking carefully while stylishly counting the number of hair on her head. He’s counting the strands.

A obviously impossible task which he doesn’t mind taking on at all.

He wants to know.

“Why do you fear cars?” She asked.

“I don’t fear cars, I don’t fear anything. I just don’t like cars.” He replied curtly, eyes cutting.

“Why don’t you like cars?” She asked.

“Cos I killed my father with a car?” He replied, currently counting the 300th hair strand.

Stacy studied his moody eyes for a beat before adjusting, shifting her Brë@št closer into his palm.

He pressed.

“It was a mistake, right? You killing your father.” She whispered.

“Are you trying to buy an excuse right now?” He scoffed. “Don’t try to find a redeemable quality in me, I’m not a good person, and you know that. I killed him with my eyes wide open, and I liked it.” He replied easily.

“Are you saying that cos you wanna induce fear in me and turn me on again?” She mumbled.

“If I wanted to instill fear, I’d set the coffeehouse opposite this bookstore on fire and make you watch while I fuvk your cûnt front behind.” He replied.

Again, Stacy clenched her thighs together, tighter than the first.

His words about destruction is turning her on so bad she’s starting to doubt her own sanity.

“If you really killed your father with a car and liked it, then you shouldn’t have a problem with driving cars or staying too long in a car. Your issue with car stems from guilt, and that’s the reason for the GUILTY X tattoo on your lower back. You must have been so close to your father, then you accidentally killed him, and the guilt is haunting you.” She analyzed.

“Now you’re flaunting the fact that your late mother was a chemist too much,” his eyes frosted. “One more word about my problem with cars, and I’ll chew you out.”

“Fine, then why do you need sound processors before you can hear?” She asked curiously.

From her head on his laps to his face above hers like this, he looks divine…too handsome. The fangs between his perfectly white teeth has been standing out at each word he says. It’s the first time she’d be studying his dentition up close, and truthfully? He’s got the finest set of teeth she’d ever seen.

Swear down, she loves those dangerous fangs like crazy.

“I was born deaf,” he replied, his phone buzzing.

She couldn’t talk further before he picked the phone to check.

It’s a sales approval.

He bought an abandoned house right beside a cemetery, ready for tomorrow night.

Stacy inched up and read the approval with him, then she looked at his eyes.

“Wanna go play tommorow?” He asked, not quizzical. “Saying no means I’d have to kidnap you and drag you there.”

“Will you wear the ghost face mask again?” She asked naughtily, caressing his abs.

“A scarier type. You deserve to pee your pants for me.” he replied.

“Wetness is wetness, I’m all in.” she replied, inching up again.

She kissed his lips shortly, and just when he was about to harden it, she jumped down the bed and stretched out her hand.

“Come with me, I’ll show you somewhere!”

He looked at her, then at her spread palm, and back to her face.

“C’mon nutty.” She smiled.

He placed his palm on hers, and she immediately liked how very small her palm looks in his own.

Cove picked the Hymn Of Bones book though, then he followed her lead out of the bookstore to the back alley.

It’s dark now, but the streetlights are so bright it feels blinding.

It’s the middle of April where the weather is hard as fûck to predict.

No one knows when it’ll start raining cats and dogs or shine scorchingly

Longer days, shorter nights.

Stacy bolted in the direction of a tree—a flower tree.

Cove just strolled behind her, watching her every step leisurely.

She’s skipping her feet, and she might fall.

She’s not clumsy, but this place is highly pebbled.

“My late mum planted this tree!” She said proudly, holding the tree bark. “I and my mum used to visit this bookstore, and back then a flower woman used to pass by with her flower basket, and anytime I missed her passing time, I’d start crying cos I couldn’t bear not having a flower for a day. Then mum thought she’d just give me a whole flower tree, so she bought this area and planted one for me! Meet my flower tree! Her name is Bonita!” She said cheerfully.

And Cove smiled…. genuinely.

It reached his eyes.

“Wow! That was the first time you smiled and meant it, not your dry moody smiles. You’re so hot when you smile.” She said.

The smile didn’t wipe off his face as he moved closer to her.

“Stupid, Bonita?”

“Yeah! My teddy at home is Bonita too! That teddy is twins with this tree!” She said.

“Fûck, just stop…” He frowned, feeling irked, and that made her laugh as he finally got to her.

“What about your mother?” She asked immediately.

His smile disappeared.

“I’m sorry…you said you didn’t wanna talk about your parents, but I’d like to know someday though.” She said.

Cove stretched his arm, plucking a pink flower from the tree.

The flower had black balls inside, literally a goth barbie style too.

He inserted the flower into her hair, and she touched it, grinning.

He looked around the area, and Stacy removed his phone from his pocket suddenly.

She doesn’t know his password, so she clicked emergency camera and snapped their selfies.

He’s not even looking at the camera, but so far he’s in the picture, she’s fine as hell.

“Send it to me on Whatsapp, User 120,” she said before returning his phone into his pocket.

There’s a glass bench under the tree. He took his seat on the bench, and she sat on his laps, facing him.

The gleam from the street lamp behind them caught the side of her face, and she swept her hair back, arms going wrapped on his neck.

She closed her eyes and closed in, wanting to initiate a long, hot kiss for the first time, but he suddenly twirled her, placing her on the bench.

Her eyes flew open, and she was shocked to see her dad and Kaylee and numerous guards surrounding them like they came to get a sinner.

“Dad?” She gasped.

Kaylee raised her hand for a blinding slap to Cove’s face…

Cove was already calculating to break her wrist, but Stacy saved her by jumping in-between.

She pushed Kaylee off.

“Don’t touch him!”

Kaylee gasped, eyes protruding. “Stacy? Me?”

“Yes you!” Stacy breathed.

“What has come over you! What is wrong with you!” Albert roared, wanting to attack Cove too.

She hugged Cove.

Meaning; if he wants to attack him, he’d attack her instead.

Albert’s arms dropped.

“What did he bewitch you with! You’re getting engaged to Dorian by next month-end and you’re here, frolicking? And what was that picture? In my mansion!!?” He yelled

“I won’t get engaged to Dorian!” Stacy shouted back.

“This prick would ruin you!” Kaylee said desperately.

“Exactly my plan,” Cove responded dangerously, shooting his death stare at Kaylee. “I’ll ruin her innocence and make her my corrupted masterpiece. Engagement to Dorian? Dig graves for the guests of the engagement beforehand cos they won’t be going home that d@mn day!”

“You d@mn maniac!!” Albert lunged at him with a punch.

Stacy pushed Cove back, facing her father quickly.

“Let’s go home! Enough of this!”

“Stac—”

“Let’s go home, dad!” She snapped.

Albert grabbed his daughter’s hand, dragging her to his car.

Stacy kept looking back to Cove, but he just stood there, rocky.

Kaylee levelled Cove up and down with her eyes…

“Poor maniac. You’re just hungry, that’s your real issue.” She muttered, taking a whole bundle of dollar notes from her guards.

She poured it on his face before leaving for her car too.

When Albert’s car drove off, Kaylee’s car zoomed after it.

The guards lined up after them, and two minutes later, they disappeared down the road.

Cove brought a cigar box out of his pocket, and it turned out to be a bar if honey eclipse chocolate.

He opened it, took a bite before squatting. He gathered every single note Kaylee poured on him and counted calmly.

$50,000.

He was staring at the cash as he ate the second bite from the chocolate.

He dialled Eleven on his phone.

His rogues are still in the city, just that he sent them on a different errand.

“T!” Eleven’s voice came in.

“Find a potend acid supply store. I’m gonna send you 50k dollars in cash tommorow. Book for 50k dollars amount of acid.” Cove said.

Eleven didn’t bother asking what he’s gonna use it for.

“Anything for you, Your Exc… I mean T.” He quickly said. “By the way, I have a report. Stacy sent get well soon wishes to Dorian. She also sent apology to him on your behalf.”

Cove was about to take the last bite from his chocolate when he heard that, and he immediately dropped that last bite on the ground.

He grinded his jaws.

Kaylee looks like someone poured devil’s beans on her as she was driven home. Her skin has been crawling with the audacity of that bastard and she wants nothing but to strangle him with her own hands right now, but she can’t do that.

She’s the reputable Kaylee Wesley after all.

But even the sickest madmen have bosses. This is why Dorian has to wake up fast.

Dorian has to wake up before next month-end. Real Dorian will be the one to get engaged to Stacy.

He can’t wait for her crazy son to tear Cove to pieces. By then, Cove will learn to hide his poor face.

Gawd, she badly needs a shower and a good fûck.

Why is Remo not back from Las Vegas?

She dialled his line.

It’s off.

“Is my gigolo fine?” She muttered worriedly.

[Young Mansion]

The doctors detained Scott for more time in Las Vegas, so they didn’t later take off at noon as planned.

They took off at 6, and they landed some minutes ago.

Now they’re just getting home in their car, and Scott expected Kane to hold him and enter with him, but Kane just dropped down from the car and went inside without looking back or waiting for him.

Scott frowned, pausing.

He noticed Kane’s silence too throughout the flight like he was trying to keep his distance..

Now they landed and it got worse? What’s going on?

“Not going in anymore?” Reid said beside him.

He came here with them to spend the night actually.

He supported Scott as they went inside.

Silas is at the dinning with Owen—she got released from the white room today cos Silas knew the boys would be returning, and she’s smiling wide.

“Heard you were attacked,” Silas said cynically, shifting his glasses. “This is why a boy should learn to fight.”

Scott isn’t even looking at him. His eyes are on Kane who’s now climbing the staircase.

“Evening, I’m Reid!” Reid greeted.

“Yeah, Kane mentioned a swimmer friend would be spending the night. Hurry and go freshen up three of you … Dinner is still hot.” Owen said.

“Scott!” Reid touched Scott who’s still staring at the stairs.

Kane didn’t look back.

Scott held back his tears.

Seeing the energy between them, Silas smiled at the dinning, lifting his water glass to his lips.

[Montana Mansion]

Stacy didn’t wait for her father. The moment the car entered the mansion, she climbed down and went inside.

“Stacy!” Albert followed her. He ran when it got to a point.

“Stacy Montana!”

Stacy dashed into the living room, and she wasn’t surprised to meet all her friends inside.

Kehlani, Tasha and Tania.

And Anita.

“Babe!” Kehlani spranged up.

Before Stacy could stubbornly climbed the staircase, Albert caught up and pulled her back.

“You are my daughter! I birthed you and raised you! You wanna start rebelling cos of a garage boy? Not in this lifetime! How deep has he entered your head!” He shouted.

“I won’t get engaged to Dorian,” Stacy shook her head.

“It’s for the better cause! Dorian is the right choice for you weather you like it or not! I’m done asking for your opinion cos your opinion is trash! That boy who behaves like he escaped from a psychiatric hospital? Never in this life!” Albert thundered.

“Mr. Montana!” Anita cautioned.

“Mr. Montana, don’t shout at her, please.” Tasha said.

“We’ll talk to her.” Tania said.

“Does she look like she has ears anymore?” Albert shook his head, roughly letting go of Stacy.

Stacy rushed upstairs.

Her friends went after her.

“Sir, you need to calm down.” Anita said carefully.

“No! Calming down won’t work anymore. I’ve spoilt her too much and it’s time for reforming.” Albert spat, going upstairs too.

Anita heard his door slamming, and she held her head right.

“Gawd!”

She was thinking her daughter’s unfilial act was the worse of today, but this is worse.

Stacy and her dad hasn’t clashed like this before. Albert hasn’t yelled at Stacy like this before.

She doesn’t even know what to do.

[Las Vegas, Healthcare]

The environment was dark when Remo woke up, and his h@të for darkness made him shout on top of his lungs.

The lights came on almost immediately, and that was when he realized he’s in an hospital ward. Frank and Max are in different beds in that ward too.

They’re both still unconscious though.

“Get me a mirror!” Remo yelled at the nurse who turned on the lights.

A full mirror was brought, and he came down from the bed to check himself out. He gasped.

His head is bandage round just like the heads of Max and Frank, and his face? It’s nothing to be proud of.

Red scratches, dark bruises, purple swells, stretching from his forehead to his jaws to the neck to the chest!

Kane did it again.

His expensive face! The face his old women are dying for.

“No!!!!!” He yelled.

The yell woke Max and Frank, and in no time, they rushed to the mirror to check themselves out too.

“Why is my face like his? Why the fûck am I like this!!” Max yelled.

Frank swept his dreadlocks away from his face, having a better view of the disfiguration. “This can’t be real, right? This isn’t me.”

“Get all the treatment for scars you have in your hospital and start applying right now!” Remo pulled the nurse by her uniform, and in the process, his fingers curled her bra.

“Harassment!” She struggled.

“Get all scar and bruise treatment here! If my face gets ruined like this, I’ll kill every living thing in this hospital!” Remo threatened.

“The…the person who brought y’all said… We mustn’t… administer such treatments…on y’all.” The nurse stuttered in fear.

“The person who brought us?” Remo’s bruised face squeezed.

And Minister Lane entered immediately, looking madly angry.

“Father?” Remo muttered.

[Tuesday, RIDE University]

Stacy was already feeling queasy by the time her helicopter landed at the airfield. The girls spent the night at her place, but she refused to tell them anything. After the argument with her dad last night, she had buried her face in her bed and refused to talk to anyone of them, so she just knows they’re dying to hear her talk.

But she’s obviously not ready.

She just wants to receive Cove’s text.

She has a mobile phone collection at home, so she has picked a new phone for her use, but she hasn’t heard from him since last night.

Is he mad about what happened?

It’s not even her fault.

She checked her phone for the umpteenth time as she climbed out of her helicopter with the girls.

“Are you doing this intentionally? Why the fûck are you starving us? Tell us what’s going on already!” Tania said impatiently.

“I’m dying to hear, and you’re just checking your phone as if gold is gonna fly out of your screen.” Tasha added, impatient too.

“You know you can talk to us, right?” Kehlani said softly.

Stacy opened her mouth to say something, but she closed her mouth back when a loud uproar took over the school. Every d@mn corner.

Someone is getting down from her helicopter, and that helicopter belongs to…

Zendaya.

Zendaya??

“Wait… Zendaya???” Kehlani and the twins chorused, speechlessly staring at the snatched girl who climbed out.

Zendaya looks reborn like she sent all her fat to the deepest hell. Even her facial fat is all gone.

She looks madly food.

She’s wearing exactly Stacy’s style of clothes, confidence and makeup—short silhouette gown, baby hair on her hair edges, glitter makeup with bold brows.

She hasn’t even touched the ground when students cameras brightened her face from all existing areas.

• I can’t believe this!

• Within how many days!

• Who’s her doctor?

• Jesus! She’s hot!

• She has automatically reclaimed the second hottest glitz girl after Stacy!

• Oh m gee! She’s stunning!

• Another hot week in RIDE!

Zendaya flipped her hair, striking a pose proudly for more pictures.

And that was when Trinidad’s helicopter touched down.

The blades were still whirring when Trinidad and Cove came down.

Black dress shirt like he’s coming to a conference, black slacks, newly styled hair with mullet. Dress shoes and a madly expensive bulgari wristwatch around his wrist. He’s not carrying a backpack as usual.

He even used glasses! He looks like the CEO of the world bank, exactly.

Zendaya’s smile broadened, and she began running to him, widening her arms for a hug.

The school paused.

Students paused.

Mouths widened again.

Zendaya’s hair was flowing as she ran…

To her love.

Stacy moved too, meaning to go to him, but the annoying air blew a white paper from nowhere to her face.

She nearly fell, but she was quick to pull the paper away from her eyes.

She nearly trashed it, but seeing what was written on it stopped her.

It’s a note actually. A note written with blood!

From: Her Excellency X.

The Note ~ I don’t do this often, but you’re beautiful, and I don’t want your pretty face ruined with piping hot tears later.

Thiago is a soulless devil you should desist from. He’ll lure you in with sweet possessiveness, then shatter you to pieces you won’t be able to heal. STAY OFF THIAGO, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

Stacy swallowed hot saliva.
