Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 19

[Montana Mansion]

Stacy locked herself in her bedroom, refusing to let anyone in.

Not even her girls.

“I wanna be alone,” she had said.

And they respected her decision, though not completely cos while the girls and Anita waited in the living room, Albert sat at Stacy’s doorstep.

He’s not talking, just there…one knee propped up and his elbow rested on it. His body rested on the door, and his phone is off, avoiding work calls.

All he wants is an open door so he’d see his daughter’s face.

Inside the room, Stacy sat in bed, her duvet covered her legs up to her waist. On her left arm, there’s a enormous white teddy bear.

And on her right hand, there’s her phone. She’s currently on her campus academics portal, staring at her GPA.

1.99.

He wasn’t wrong, and it’s not even surprising that he knew, cos at the end of last semester, their results were posted on the Major bulletin board, so everyone knows.

He must have seen it on the group. She has the second lowest GPA in her Major.

Even Remo who’s always spending his time with old women has a far better GPA than hers. He and Frank and Max are in 2points.

And Dorian who just joined them this semester…she heard he’s in 4points.

Her friends? Kehlani is in 3points, Zendaya is in 2points.

Tasha is in 4 points and Tania is in 3.

Stacy is the only one in 1. , and her performance never improve no matter how long she studies.

Not like her dad cares, all he does is work. Her grades aren’t part of what he cares about at all.

Even if she ends up graduating with zero points, her dad just has to bribe the lecturers and Chancellor, and she’d get the best result in her set.

It’s that simple, and she didn’t mind that…till today when Cove slammed her with those words rawly.

He had no leash. He was spitting mercilessly, and now she got burned.

Then he crowned it all by calling her a prostitute, again.

She wrapped her arm around the robust teddy body, resting her chin on it as the phone screen blurred.

She couldn’t think of anything else but his cruel utterances.

She’s anything but a prostitute, so why the constant call-out?

She dropped her phone, wrapping her second arm on the teddy too.

“Stacy, can we talk?” Albert’s voice came from the door.

“Can you leave my doorstep?” She replied, annoyed.

“I was only trying to protect you, didn’t intend to ruin your—”

“And I’m telling you to leave my doorstep! I h@të you! I won’t talk to you! I don’t wanna see you!” Stacy threw the teddy at the door.

“Sweetheart, don’t be like this….” Albert insisted.

Stacy jumped down from the bed and picked something from her vanity table before stalking to the door to pull it open.

Albert stood fast, but he wasn’t expecting what she threw at him.

A glass perfume bottle.

The bottle slammed his chest and broke, soaking him with the perfume. The smell of pomelo filled the place.

Some of the glass pieces hooked on his chest, but Stacy didn’t care even as blotches of blood appeared.

“I told you to leave!” She pushed him. “Leave me alone and go to your job that you’re so in love with! Get away from my life!” She cried.

Ignoring her cries, her harshness, her h@të and anger, Albert hugged her forcefully, and she began struggling, trying to force herself out of his grip, but it failed cos he held her too much

“I’m so sorry, Mommy. It’s a mistake that won’t ever happen again. You want me to compensate him? I’ll do it. How much do you want me to give? I’ll write the cheque…”

Stacy attached her teeth to his neck, biting him down and forcing him to let go of her.

“Stacy!”

“I’m dead serious,” she muttered, breathing heavily. “You’ve embarrassed me enough, and now I don’t wanna see you for the rest of this month. Leave.”

Albert didn’t say anything more, and she didn’t even give him the chance cos she returned inside and threw the door shut angrily.

Albert stood there, staring at the door and touching his bitten neck.

It’s swollen red already.

Anita joined him shortly, and the woman gave his neck a stare, figuring out who did it.

“Sorry about that, sir, but give her space. She won’t come out of that room if you don’t leave,” she advised.

“I was only protecting her, didn’t know it was stupid and I….I….geez. Anita, what should I do? She has never been this mad at me before.”

“Like I said, she needs space. You can try coming back on Friday or Saturday.” Anita assured with a nod.

Albert looked at the door again, taking a soft breath before leaving with reluctance.

[Living Room]

“I can’t believe you guys believed he’d actually kidnap Stacy…” Zendaya shot.

It’s hot in here cos the girls have been arguing since they arrived.

“No Zen,” Tania stood. “Stop right now! We all know you’d defend the garage boy to hell just to have his dîck in your mouth! Meat rider!”

“What the fûck did you just call me?” Zendaya gasped.

“No this shouldn’t cause a fight!” Tasha spranged up.

“Yes! Let it cause a fight! A bloody fight at that!” Kehlani spranged up too. “What is wrong with you Zen? No matter how big your crush on him is, you should stand with the girls, but you’re always sticking with him, meanwhile he’d never see you!”

“I stick with him cos he’s always in the right! If Stacy had just apologized for throwing the microphone at Trevor that night, things would have been simple, but no, Stacy’s ego is bigger than her small body!”

“And the garage boy’s ego is not bigger than his life?” Tania glared angrily. “He might not have said it loudly but I read his lips when he was talking to Stacy and I heard him call her prostitute!”

“He was just angry! What were you expecting from someone who got locked up and beaten despite being innocent!” Zendaya defended.

“You see… Zendaya. Garage boy won’t pick you, cos now you’re being a big pick-me. That bastard doesn’t even look at slim girls, and you think he’d look at your thickness?” Kehlani threw the sub flatly.

“Are you calling me fat?” Zendaya gasped out.

“I never said fat! I’m just saying garage boy will never pick you! That fine face he has is getting into his head and someone needs to pour acid on that thing!” Kehlani snapped.

“He’s not a thing, he’s a human, and stop calling him garage boy, his name is Cove!!” Zendaya yelled.

“Zendaya Brown, shut up or I’ll Fuçkin slap you!” Kehlani climbed the center table.

“You dare not!” Zendaya stood tall.

“Heyyy!!!!” Tasha shouted, dragging Kehlani down from the table.

“We’re not doing this! We’re not getting into a fight cos of Cove Fabio!’ Tasha continued.

“Nah…in the first place, this whole thing with the COVID-19 guy has never made sense..” Tania smirked, grabbing her beanie cap.

She wore it and grabbed her belt bag too, strapping it on her waist.

“Whenever Stacy is ready to see us, I’ll come back. For now, I have a football practice.” She said and left the mansion.

“I’ll go with you, I have to meet Max!” Kehlani took her phone and stormed out of the mansion too.

Now it’s just Tasha and Zendaya left.

Zendaya sat slowly, and Tasha sat beside her gently.

“You know Kehlani has always been judgemental, so don’t keep her words to chest, she was just angry. I’ve always told you you have the finest figure among us all.” She said.

Zendaya smiled. “I’m sorry I’m going against the sisterhood again, but I’ve never been in love before…it’s my first time, and it has gotten to the point where I constantly dream of that guy. It’s not a simple crush, Tasha, I’m in love with Cove.”

Tasha nodded. “Yeah I know, cos it shows. When we arrived at the garage last night, I saw the way your eyes shone, but be careful…”

“What do you mean?” Zendaya muttered.

“That guy…he’s greatly weird, no wonder he doesn’t talk too much cos he knows his words are harsh. He doesn’t know how to talk, but he knows how to hurt people with words each time he opens his mouth. Don’t get too deep into him. I don’t want you to get hurt if he doesn’t later fall for you…” Tasha said.

Zendaya nodded.

“I hear you, shall we wait here till Stacy opens up?”

“Of course…” Tasha pulled Zendaya’s head to her shoulder, and they both took deep breaths.

Inside Stacy’s room, Stacy has left the bed now, and she’s currently sitting on a chair in front of her mirror with her phone in hand.

She’s on the OBSCURE app again.

Today, she opened the dark secrets door. She has been typing on it for two minutes now, and her fingers are still moving slowly.

Every press of her thumb on the keyboard made her mind get lighter and lighter, and by the time she finished typing, she felt better.

She left the app and dropped her phone. Anita entered the room immediately.

“Hey, you ok?” Anita asked worriedly.

Stacy stood where she stood for a minute, then she walked to the woman and hugged her tight.

“I feel better now,” she whispered.

“I’m glad you are,” Anita smiled, hugging her back and stroking the back of her head. “And you have every right to be mad at your dad. Albert overdoes sometimes.”

“Glad you’re on my side, Anita. I love you so much.” Stacy said.

Anita smiled widely, and two minutes later, they’re both on the bed already with Stacy’s head on Anita’s laps.

She stroked her hair till she fell asleep, but even after she slept off…

Anita didn’t stop stroking.

[Studio Apartment]

Dorian followed Cove home, and he didn’t shove him off.

He didn’t even care.

They arrived an hour ago, and Dorian has been sitting on the small staircase in front of the apartment.

Mask is off cos this place is closed enough, and his guards are more than usual today.

Cove and Trevor and Matteo are on top of the staircase, and they’re both persuading him to go get his face treated, but he refused.

He only applied a dab of disinfectant to the one on his lip corner, and he just wiped the blood on the cheek wound, then he plastered it. So far it won’t get infected, he’s ok.

The second thing he h@tës apart from staying too long in a car? It’s hospitals. He h@tës it to the bones so there’s no way he’s gonna go.

“How long did they torture you in there for you to get wounded this much?” Matteo said worriedly. “You haven’t gotten wounded in a while, and I feel so guilty.”

“And I’m sure you didn’t fight back cos you knew they’d take it out on Matteo and I if you did. I’m sorry we’ve become liabilities.” Trevor said guiltily, touching Cove’s face slightly.

“Stop being melodramatic and go cook something for yourself. And you skipped school today doesn’t mean you get to miss it tomorrow too.” Cove strictly replied, and Trevor nodded quickly.

“I know,”

“I’ll join him to make noodles for four people since Dorian is also here” Matteo smiled, dragging Trevor into the apartment.

Cove’s eyes went down to the staircase where Dorian is sitting, and he wasn’t surprised to see Dorian smiling up at him with a smoky cigar between his lips.

“Y’all are one big, happy, cool family. Trevor, Cove, and Matteo. Real hard shii,” he said with a nod.

“Are you jealous of poverty?” Cove sat beside him slowly.

“Poverty? Dude, no one’s poor to me, everyone just needs a little bit of polishing. Just try me and let me introduce you to my modelling agency, you have potentials, Fabio.” Dorian said genuinely.

“Try another day, Wesley.” Cove replied, and Dorian gasped.

“You just called me by my surname! Ou! You can’t take that back, ok? You’re officially my best friend now!” He shouted excitedly.

Cove took the cigar from him, bringing it to his lips to take a drag.

“For real, are you ok?” Dorian asked suddenly, and Cove faced him.

“Your facial wounds,” Dorian said.

“It’s nothing I haven’t experienced before…the wounds.” Cove replied, smokes pouring out of his mouth.

“But don’t you think you were being too hard on Stacy?” Dorian said.

“One more mention of her name, and I’ll leave this place.” Cove said without sparing him a glance.

Smokes rolled out of his mouth again like a fog.

“You talked to her alone, but like I said…I can read you so well so I studied your mouth and made out what you said. You called her a prostitute, and it’s stupid.” Dorian said slowly.

Cove dropped the cigar on the ground immediately, and he was already heading inside when Dorian rushed up the stairs to block him.

“I won’t take it back. Yeah it’s stupid. People have tastes, and if you’re not comfortable with it, it doesn’t make them less. She loves dressing freely, so next time you’re allowed to call her a dullard cos she’s dull, but not a prostitute cos she’s not one.” He said.

“Did she send you here?” Cove was empty faced as he asked.

“Nah, but you’re my friend, Fabio, and I can take you talking that way to guys, but that’s not how to talk to a female. She’s not a prostitute.” Dorian replied seriously.

“You do not get to decide how I talk, at all, and you should go fix a wedding date already. You both are a match made in hell,” Cove muttered, each word coming out cooked.

“Who knows what might happen in the future?” Dorian smiled. “She wears waist stuff, so that’s a bonus. Told you I love that thing.”

Footsteps from behind made the two guys turn.

Trinidad and her girls are coming out of the Atelier behind the apartment.

They’ve been there for a while now.

“What’s up, tenant?” Roxy smiled, waving her palette.

“Each time I see the two of you, I wanna choke… How two guys are this hot will forever remain a mystery…” Elmira shook her head.

“Tutor Cove!” Trinidad said. “How was your time in the lock cell?”

“You didn’t tell me you’re close with these three,” Dorian muttered.

“Is it something to be proud about?” Cove said nonchalantly, taking out his phone.

He made a transfer to Roxy’s account immediately. Next month rent.

“This month is still in the middle, and you already payed next month? Did I not say I won’t be taking rent from you anymore?” Roxy scoffed.

“I don’t want your free stuff,” Cove replied, entering the apartment.

With his hands in his pocket, Dorian followed him in.

The door closed, and the girls all gasped at a time.

“Is it just me, or is his personality getting worse? I pity his future wife…thank gawd I got over my crush on him.” Elmira said.

“Wife? I can bet all my life savings that he’d be celibate till death. Also, I love him this way. I love sassy guys…you didn’t hear what he did to Stacy’s father with a spanner?” Trinidad said with a grin.

“Last time, he attacked the daughter with a microphone, and this time it’s the father with a spanner. Seems like his anger issues make him use anything around him. His type can kill before realizing.” Elmira shook her head, chuckling.

Roxy suddenly threw her phone at the wall, breaking it.

“Girl!” Elmira shouted.

“Rox!” Trinidad blinked.

“This is the second time he’d be turning me down on this rent stuff. I h@të being turned down…so much. I wanna spend on him, and he’s saying no? That’s rude!”

She kicked her phone away and rushed downstairs.

“Roxy still isn’t over her sickness of not wanting people to turn her down?” Elmira said.

“It got worse,” Trinidad sighed.

Elmira’s phone dinged, and when she saw the alert, she gasped.

Half a billion from Max!

“Am I seeing well?” She shouted.

“Trini please count the zeros for me!” She showed Trinidad.

“Half a billion?” Trinidad said.

“Oh my gosh!” Elmira screamed, jumping twice. “Fûck! It’s finally happening! It’s happening!”

“You’re Fuçkin Max?” Trinidad asked shockingly.

Elmira replied with a wink.

“Max is too sweet! Now I understand Kehlani’s obsession. That guy took me to hell last night when I was riding a knife, and now I wanna do it again.”

“You’re so Fuçkin—”

“Slutty, yeah I am, so don’t preach cos I won’t listen.” Elmira shrugged.

Trinidad nodded, and they began descending the stairs together.

“Finally it’s a new week tommorow! We’ll start wearing our dresses! Bye to uniform for this semester! That uniform skirt has been hiding my @$$ and I can’t wait to show off my BBL tomorrow.” Elmira laughed, her excitement raw.

“You’re happy about that, and I’m happy about football and Cove’s tutorial… different issues,” Trinidad shrugged.

“Heard Wednesday is freshmen party! I don’t care if it’s for freshmen, I’m gonna attend.” Elmira said.

“And Friday is The Mixer, who do you think is gonna be the king and queen dancer?” Trinidad smirked.

“We’ll find out tomorrow,” Elmira shrugged, then they joined Roxy inside the waiting car.

Inside the apartment, the noodles is ready, and Matteo served on four flat plates, steam rising from the four.

“I have a confession to make… I’ve never ate noodles before…” Dorian muttered, and they all faced him.

Excluding Cove.

“Rian, really?” Trevor asked.

“Yup, I don’t fancy it.” Dorian said.

“Why?” Matteo asked.

“Angela said it’s bad for my voice, so she never puts it in the kitchen.” Dorian confessed.

“But you can eat it secretly now. No one will see you.” Trevor said, washing Dorian’s fork.

“You get it!” Dorian winked, taking the fork and his plate of noddles.

Cove was pouring water into glass cups before, and immediately he got done, he picked his noddles plate.

But he didn’t pick fork. Instead, it’s chopsticks.

“Chopsticks?” Dorian blinked.

“He uses chopsticks for noodles, said he enjoys it that way.” Matteo explained, eating his own food already.

Cove sat, using the chopsticks to scoop the noodles into his mouth slowly. It burned the bruise beside his lip, and he jerked a little before starting to chew.

“It feels so weird seeing Fabio eating noodles,” Dorian laughed.

“I know, right? He can eat pineapple for a whole year without touching good food. He can cook like mad,but he h@tës cooking.” Trevor said.

“He can cook? Me too,” Dorian laughed.

“You two were meant to be besties…” Matteo grinned.

“I know, right?” Dorian smiled.

He was about to start eating how own food when Angela barged into the house suddenly.

Everyone stood, excluding Cove.

“Angel?” Dorian frowned.

“Noodles? Your voice got rusty for two hours the last time you ate it you stubborn mule!” Angela threw her purse at the plate.

The plate fell from Dorian’s hand to the floor, wasting off the noodles.

“Angel!” Dorian snapped angrily.

“Get out of this filthy place right now! Or I’ll have to call Kaylee!” Angela shouted on him.

Dorian moved, and he was with her in a splitting second.

His hand located her neck, and her back slammed the wall.

Angela’s eyes widened.

“Rian!” Trevor and Matteo gasped.

Cove dropped his chopsticks, enjoying the unexpected show.

“Filthy?” Dorian scoffed angrily, his palm still around Angela’s neck, tightly.

Eyes are spitting flames.

“Trevor is my big fan, he lives here. Fabio is my best and only friend and he lives here too. Filthy?”

“I’m… I’m sorry…” Angela grunted helplessly.

Guards poured in, and they’re the ones who removed Dorian’s palm from Angela’s neck.

Angela coughed out.

She was still coughing when Dorian stormed out of the apartment.

“Riri!” Angela followed him. “Riri don’t get mad!”

The guards followed them, and they all got in the cars…Angela and Dorian in one car.

Dorian refused to talk to her despite her begging.

He just scrolled through his phone to dissolve his anger.

He eventually clicked Stacy’s IG.

She posted a picture just now.

Her, on her bed, sleeping with her P@?tië? and bra alone.

That’s all she snapped the picture with, and she held a teddy.

Her caption is…

~ I h@të dad (for now)

Dorian smiled before he knew it.

“Is she 14? She behaves babyish everytime.” He muttered.

He clicked on the comments section. DIAMONDS aren’t attacking her anymore, and lots of them are even persuading her to date him in the comments section.

• You fit Ri-Rian’s description of his type. Can you both just date?

“My fandom is so Fuçking wild,” Dorian chuckled.

Beside him, Angela stared at him, hating what he’s doing right now.

Stalking Stacy’s page? Why?
