“Hey watch it?” Mila frowned at the guy who bumped into her.

“What did you say?” The guy frowned at her.

“Are you deaf or something,ok i said are you blind?”Mila frowned back.

“You must be stupid”

Mila stared at his necklace and saw a name written at his pendant before he smiled

“Stupid Diamond” She scoffed before she tried to walked past him when he grabbed her hand back.

“You must have the guts to look at me in the eyes and call me stupid”Diamond eyes pierced on her deadly.

“Oh so your name is Diamond well am Mila but you can call me Mimi you’re so cute do you want candy for be cute? ”Mila asked nicely and Diamond was taken aback.

Her name sounded familiar and the words she said was also similar.

“I don’t need your candy ”Diamond let go of her but Mila grabbed him by his hands and he frowned.

“Let go ”He warned deadly.

“No ”Mila stubbornly refute.

Diamond was about to take an action when the TV in the restaurant lit on.

“Breaking news….the wife of the popular Draco Blackwood who’s also the daughter of Mr & Mrs Henderson named Maureen was rumoured to as used a little girl as a shield to block herself from a bullet. The girl was reportedly dead because the bullet pierced through her her heart and due to the shock her pregnant mother who was 8 months old also died which means a while family lost their lives because of this girl Maureen Blackwood. Netizens are seeking for justice and the alleged victims seems to have gone missing….”

“So let’s do the needful by seeking for justice for the weak. Like i said earlier it’s still a rumour from my angles of expectation. This is the news for today ”The news ended and Mila was left in shock.

“No no this can’t be Maureem can’t do that” Mila spoke up and Diamond stared at her before saying.

“Do you know her? ”He asked.

“Yes Maureen is my best friend and she’s like a sister to me”Mila replied.

“Oh”Diamond mouthed

“You know her?” Mila started at him feeling like he knows her.

“Mmm”Diamond hummed a replied.

He brought out his phone before he walked out of the restaurant and Mila followed.

“What? ”Diamond faced her wondering why she was following her.

“Are you going in search of her? ”She asked.

“No” He sternly replied.

“Liar ”Mila immediately entered his car and Diamond frowned.

“Get out! ”He veins popped out in anger seeing her in his car but Mila didn’t care if he was angry at her or not she sat down in the comfortable

“Let’s go”

Diamond stared at her stubborn attitude before he sighed and he entered his car before driving off.

“Madam?”

“Who did i told you to kill?”

Bonnie asked with a frown.

“We missed the target madam and we’re sorry” They immediately apologized.

“How can you miss a simple target and you went ahead to shoot a little girl of 3 years how cruel are you?” Bonnie scolded angrily.

Angelica wasn’t her main aim, she wanted Maureen dead and nothing else bur since she couldn’t kill she will use the world to kill her.

The story of those innocent people was so sad and pathetic that nobody would not want to intervene.

“She turned at the wrong time with the girl and we had already fired the bullet.. ”

SLAP

She slapped the both boy’s angrily.

“Stupid assasinators. Tho i like how the news is going but Draco is coming after you two and you know once he gets you too am down fall so take this money and leave this country and continent now ”Bonnie handed the money to them and they immediately took it.

“Thank you madam ”They both bowed their heads in respect.

“I didn’t do it for you two. Just know that if you don’t leave that’s your problem and i promise you once everything leaks out am f*cking going to deny you two” Bonnie stared at them before she turned back and started walking only for to stop.

She stood for some minutes before she turned back and shot them both and they immediately dropped dead.

“I can’t afford to risk my lives for you fools” She walked to them before she picked up her money and shot them countlees times to avoid them surviving it.

“F*ck you” She stared at their dead bodies before she placed the cash and gun in bag and walking out.

Draco walked into the isolated and abandon house with a frown. He wondered what Maureen was doing here.

It’s a good thing he placed a tracker on her accessories just for something like this.

“Maureen? ”He called but got no response.

“Maureen?”

He heard some sniffs and he stopped walking before he turned on his flash lights and saw Maureen squatted on the floor while crying.

“Maureen? ”Draco quickly rushed to her and tap her only for her to sprang up in shock.

“Draco is that you? ”Maureen lifted her head and their nose almost brushed against each other.

“Yes it’s me, would you stop crying now? ”Draco voice came out soft and low.

He was indeed hurt to see her crying and there was no way he could console her. He hasn’t encountered a thing like this before and he didn’t know what to do at this moment.

“Am the cause of their death and now they are all against me. Their blood lies in my hands. Bonnie was right am always the cause of what’s happening to people,am a bad luck to myself and to others” Maureen cried out and Draco heart sank in deeply.

“I told you not to listen to what other say to you ”Draco scolded.

“But she’s not anybody but your fiancee, she’s so right am indeed a bad luck ”Maureen cried out.

Draco was shocked to hear her address Bonnie as his fiancee and he wondered who told her all this.

If she was in her right sense he would have questioned her but he’s going to let it slide for the now.

“No you’re not….”

“Yes am the cause. I killed a little girl with her mother and her unborn child. Am so heartless. Why didn’t i take the bullets instead of Angelica am so so so bad”Maureen buried her face on her laps while crying loudly.

She felt like dying instead of living in the world where they are all against her.

“Stop speaking like that”Draco tried to hold her hands but she pushed him off.

“Go! so you won’t be the next target,I dont want my bad lucks to rub on you so please let me be please”Maureen pushed him but Draco didn’t budge.

“You don’t have bad lucks Maureen stop being self pity”Draco shook her violently for her to get back to her senses.

She has been crying and he doesn’t likes it. This isn’t the feisty,stubborn and sharp tongue Maureen he once knew and he couldn’t help but want the other side of her.

“Yes i do and that’s the truth just stay away from me let me and let me die slowly”

“No…”

“Stop it Draco don’t argue with me and listen to me,i do value your live so much and i don’t want you to die don’t you understand…”She paused and heaved a deep sigh.

“I just want to die and leave this world for good so please stay…”

The remaining words were buried in her mouth after she was caught off with a sudden kiss from Draco and all her body vibrated in shock.

“You…”

“Talk about dying again and i will kiss you”Draco rubbed her lips before he smiled.

Maureen cries seized and her eyes were staring at him. She could still feel his soft lips on her’s and she can’t fathom how she was feeling at the moment.

“You want me to kiss you again sure?”Draco leaned forward and kissed her again while sucking on her lower lip.

His hands went straight to her waist and he pulled her closer.

Maureen stared at his closed eyes still in shock. Soon she closed her eyes slowly before she responded to the kiss.
