“What were you about to do Tara?”Draco creased his brows at her.

“She stole my necklace ”Tara replied with a frown for being addressed by her name.

“That wasn’t my question but anyways what type of silly necklace are you talking about? ”Draco asked while walking towarda them.

“It’s a golden necklace and it costs 1 million dollars ”Tara replied and Maureen widened herceyew in shock.

‘ 2 Million dollars? That’s much’

“So you’re shouting over 1 million dollars huh? ”Draco chuckled.

“Draco don’t try to defend her because she’s your wife, she stole a necklace and she a thief so it’s best she faces her punishment ”Bonnie intervened while Draco glanced at her.

“And what are you doing here?”He stared at Bonnie who had an irritating look on.

“Mother called me over”She replied.

“You called her over Mother? ”Draco faced Alexa with a disapproving look.

“Yes i did ”Alexa shooked her head in response.

“Then what’s the need of calling Maureen over when you already have a classic model who’s so stylish to pick a necklace for you?”Draco could smell something off between all of them and it’s a good thing he came back just to speak with Maureen only up see this drama.

“Maureen is my daughter in law don’t I have the right to call her over?”Alexa frowne.

“She isn’t that much of your daughter in law and that you knows so don’t take it too far”

Alexa stared at Draco,he just reminded her of who she was to him and she immediately fell sad,and she knew he wasn’t happy or pleased with herself.

“And madam Tara you said Maureen stole your necklace right?? Well have you stared at her own ice necklace and watch?”Draco pulled Maureen in front of him before he pointed at it.

Bonnie stared at the jewellery in Maureen body with anger and envy. She knows how much it costs for it was a new label and even she couldn’t get one for herself for it was already sold out.

Maureen stared down at her necklace and waa trying to think how much it cost. Draco was the one who bought everything she has been putting on and she had never even asked him what brand or products it was.

“How much does it cost?”Tara couldn’t help but ask after starring at Maureen sparkling necklace and watch.

“50 Million euros for replied before he pat Maureen head and they all stared at him in shock including Maureen.

How can she be putting on something worth millions of euros and not dollars.

“Maureen isn’t a thief even if she was that doesn’t gives you the right to lift up those useless hands of yours to hit her. Make sure it doesn’t repeats itself again ”Draco warned deadly.

“Draco how can you buy her such jewelries that worth this much when they’re countless people to feed ”Bonnie was so angry and jealous at Maureen for ever having the chance to put on something like that.

“How many on the streets have you helped or fed for once since i ever knew you?”Draco scoffed not understanding Bonnie points.

“Remember you were the one who told me that money can’t solve most of them cases no matter how many times you give them for they’re meant to be poor so am just following what you said ”Bonnie immediately defended herself.

“How stupid are you? I knew what you did today Bonnie am just trying to overlook it for you being my friend but be careful next time for i might be smiling ”Draco stared at Maureen before he held her hands.

“Come let’s go heck home the people here don’t like you ”Draco pulled Maureen out and everyone watched them both leave without stopping them.

“Fvck!!”Bonnie angrily slammed the box of necklace on the floor.

“Why did he had to show up at the wrong time?”She pulled on her hair hard while feeling frustrated.

“Thank you ”Draco heard Maureen voice and he immediately faced her.

“Why are you thanking me? ”Draco asked and Maureen smiled a bit.

“For saving me from them earlier. Tho am still tagged as a thief but am grateful ”Maureen started pulling the necklace and wrist watch on her hands off.

“Take I can’t accept this,its too cost for me to put on. You can’t waste such money on me tho i know on one side of the story of what Bonnie said was the truth fact so please take it,i don’t worth it”Maureen stretched it at him to accept.

“Silly you’re more valuable than this so don’t think you don’t worth it”Draco grabbed it before he placed it on for her back.

“Don’t ever listen to what anyone of my family or close friends says else you’re going to be ruining your life by doing so”Draco pat her hair before he opened the car door for her to get in.

“Is she your biological Mother?”Maureen asked after they got into the car.

“No ”Draco sternly replied and Maureen was shocked.

“Then where’s your…”

“She’s dead ”Draco quickly replied and Maureen couldn’t help but cover her mouth in shock.

“But why are you calling her your Mother? ”Maurren referred to Alexa.

“When my mom was alive she made me promised her to always call her my Mother and always give her that respect so am just keeping my promise” Draco sighed deeply before ignited his car and Maureen didn’t asked any more questions.
