She took out the b©dy in a black nylon, dragging it out of the room and out of the castle using the hidden pathway no one knows about.

On returning, she shut the door behind her. Then he was done washing himself, and he was putting on a new dress. He was sitting on one of his couch, and she c@m£ to join him too.

” Do you still wanna talk about it? ”

” It started a week later after I returned from a blood transfusion test. I didn’t know the blood wasn’t checked properly. Two days later, I started feeling weak and this heavy fever, then I started losing appetite for anything.

A week later, I went to doctor Ivan’s lab for a different test, there he told me that I was suffering from an infection. Not a virus or fungus type of infection. No. He said my blood was contaminated with that of a vampire’s.

He gave me drug to drink, few seconds later, I it vomited out. He said I should come later for another check up, that was when he told me I had a vampire’s blood in mine. ” He explained.

Dacia kept staring at him, unable to believe the whole story. She can’t believe her once a human b©yfri£ndhas turned into a blood su-cking vampire.

She was so speechless that she didn’t know where or how to start from. ” Well, ” she finally said, ” we just have to keep this as a secret between us. It’s just you and me knowing about this, no one else should. ”

” I promise, I never wanted to keep you in the dark. I don’t know why but, I was so scared to hurt your feelings. ”

” It’s okay, I un-derstand. Everyone would do the same thing. I don’t blame you for what you did, you were only trying to save the relationsh!pand I am happy for that. Are you still hungry, or should I s£nd in a maid for you to feed on? ”

” No, I’m full. ”

” You don’t have to be scared to tell me anything, always know that I’m always here for you. ” She as-sured him with a smile.

” I wanna ask you a question. ” She said after a brief moment of silence. ” The first day of your turning, why didn’t you feed on me? ”

” I didn’t want to. Dacia, you are the last person I ever wanna hurt. I couldn’t do it even if I wanted to. ”

She smiled again. ” Don’t tell me you had to sneak out of the room to find something to eat? ”

” Honestly, that’s what I did. ”

” Oh, come on, babe. You should have just feed on me. Now that I am aware, are you still scared to feed on me? ”

” Dacia… ”

” I know, you’re still scared. I get it. ” She said a bit annoyed.

” Do you want me to? ” He asked.

Her face beamed with happiness. She nodded her head. ” Yes, I do. ” She looked down. ” Poor thing you aren’t hungry anymore. ”

He stood up from where he sat. ” Didn’t say I was full to have a taste of your blood. Are you re-ady? Although, it’s gonna hurt… A bit, I think? ”

” Just do it. I can endure whatever kind of pain it is. ”

He pu-ll-ed her head slot to one side, leaning his face closer to her ba-re skin. He li-ck the surface of her skin, sniffing hungrily at the scent of her blood.

He pierced her skin with the ti-p of his canine teeth, su-cking a little amount of her sweet blood. He enjoyed it, and it tasted a million times sweeter than any other he has ever tasted.

He gently pu-ll-ed his teeth out, holding her from falling. ” Does it hurt? ” He softly asked her.

She shook her head. ” No, it doesn’t. ” She looked at him with a weak eyes. ” I’m feeling sleepy, take me to be-d. ”

He carried her up into his arms, dropping her on his be-d. He can’t imagine how sweet her blood tasted, how wanting it felt on his ton-gue.

He wanted more of it, but doing that will only hurt her. And that’s something he wouldn’t stand to ba-re. Anyone hurting him, not even himself.

(The Next Day…)

Avery’s eyes was no how close to sleep. She was re-ady to spend a century of her life awake if doing so will make the paint stains go.

All efforts were turning to a waste.

” Guys, st©p. ” No b©dy listened to her, and she yelled it more louder. ” Guys, st©p it. St©p it, okay?! This doesn’t make any s-en-se. You have all tried. I watch as everyone tried to help me but, look at it, it’s showing no sign of leaving. You don’t have to kill yourselves all because of me.

I have seen your efforts, and I am very happy none of you want to see me die. But if this is how life has destined me, what can I do? What can we do? Nothing. So plea-se, there’s nothing we can do about this. It is permanent, we just have to let it be.

Although, I am scared of what Madam Dacia will do to my life but, if Eve have to die for something she didn’t do, will mine be different? Look, I have only an hour left here, let’s enjoy it among ourselves rather than wasting it on nothing. ” She looked at each an everyone of them. There faces weren’t wearing a good look. ” Come on guy, it’s my life, let’s enjoy it. For my sake. ”

She smiled, ” let’s go out to the field, I never pla-yed in the field. I only go out to spre-ad the clothes. But do you know what I love about this place? I met the best people in the world. I met you all, guys and I do not regret any bit of it. Believe me, I don’t. ”

She left them, running to the field. They all stood up, watching as she pla-yed happily. Something Eve didn’t get the chance to do, she was doing it for herself.

She looked happy than someone who was gonna die any moment from now. Was this how life wanted it to be for her? What will Madam Dacia’s punishment be this time?

Especially when it has to do with her favorite dress damaged.

Even Stella watched from her room, she saw how happy Avery was. She wasn’t that close to Avery, and neither have they gotten the chance to have a talk to each other. But she just liked her for nothing.

She always see Avery spre-ad the clothes, and from there, she loved her for it. Avery was serious in whatever she did, and being accused was the one thing Stella still found ha-rd to believe.

If anyone should tell her Avery poured the stain, she has a thousand reasons to disbelief every word against Avery. But what can she do either? Besides, she’s just a maid like they are.

” Do you think she’s going to die? ” Someone asked Victoria.

” I don’t know. I just don’t know. ” Victoria replied, tearfully. ” I don’t know if I can bear the pains of losing her. She didn’t do it, I know what Avery can do. She hates The Mistress but staining her dress is the last thing Avery will ever do. ”

” We have to help her. We have to defend her if The Mistress tries to pas-s judgement on her. ” Someone suggested.

” You will only end up in trouble too. ” Mariam said. ” If this wicked act is not done among us, then it means some one from a different section must have done this. ”

” But the question is who? ” Victoria said. ” How sure are we this wasn’t done from someone among us? Madam Dacia was on supervision yesterday, and I am pretty sure every maids were in there various duty section.

Someone within us must have done this to Avery, someone or else, there must be another person watching everything every one of us does. ”

” Yes, you are right. Since the day Avery mentioned about the girls in the toilet, I haven’t been at rest. What if those girls are monitoring each and everyone of us. What if they’ve got no duties, or even if they have, there are just ghosts in the mansion. ” Mariam said thoughtfully.

Victoria heaved heavily. ” I wanna do whatever it takes to protect her, I keep thinking, but then I found out that if we all die, who will save the others? There are innocent lives yet to be framed, if we go, who will save their lives?

Avery accepts her death, we all nee-d to accept it too. But I believe my instincts, everything will be alright. Of course, everything will be alright. ”
