Irene alighted from the stranger’s car and thanked him.

“No nee-d for that, in just doing my job” he said before he realized what he said.

“What job?”

“My job as a good person” he lied.

Irene smiled.

“Thanks” she said again and entered into the palace.

As she walked down the hall, Casper sighted her and quic-kly ran to her.

“Oh Irene. You are back. Finally!” He said.

Irene frowned.

“Where did you go? You left me there” she said with anger.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t find you when I c@m£ back” he said.

“It’s okay. Some stranger took me to the h0tel” she said.

“That’s good. Hope he didn’t harm you” he said.

“No, he didn’t. I nee-d to rest now, I’m tired” she said and left to her room.

He watched till she went into her room.

He sighed and walked away.

Irene got into her room and locked the door behind. She was really hurt.

She went into the bathroom and had her bath. She stayed inside the h0t tub for some hours and even sle-pt there.

She woke up when she heard the sound of the door.

She opened her eyes and raised her head.

That was when she realized that she sle-pt off.

“I’ll be there in a second!” She yelled and quic-kly stood up.

She quic-kly changed into something and wra-pped her we-t hair.

She opened the door and saw Wren and Zoe.

“Hey you guys!”

They ran and hvgged her ti-ght.

“I’m glad you guys are back!” She said.

“I missed you so much Irene”

“Missed you too” she replied to Wren.

Zoe looked sad. She alre-ady knew what happened to her sister and her father.

“Zoe, are you alright?” She asked.

Zoe room few steps towards her and hvgged her.

“I miss mom”

“I un-derstand Zoe” she said and gently held her.

Irene stared at her and t©uçhed her che-st.

“Mom isn’t here with you but she’s inside you” Irene said.

Zoe nodded.

“Promise me that you won’t leave”

“I won’t leave. I promise!” She said.

They hvgged her again.

“Come on, go now. I’ll come meet you guys later” she said and closed the door behind.

Irene was starving. She dried her hair and went out of the room.

She met Tony and the other princes. They were very worried about her.

She lied to them that she stayed at a friend’s place and their believed her.

They started the arrangements for the coronation. Everyone of them helped, including Casper.

Leo squee-zed his face and stared at Casper.

“Isn’t older brother suppose to be out there fv¢king innocent vir-gins?”

Casper smiled and pinned the flowers.

“Well, let me say. I’ve tried my best and I’ve left the rest to father. It’s four days left. Trust me, I’ll be the next king” he said.

“Really? Congratulations in advance” Garrett said to him.

Casper blu-shed.

“Excuse me” Irene said and left.

Garret stared at her as she left. He slowly c@m£ down from the ladder and went after her.

“Irene!” He called out.

She st©pped immediately and started breathing ha-rd .

He walked towards her and appeared in front of her.

“Are you avoiding me?”

“No, I’m not. I’m just stressed” she said.

“You should rest then” he said.

“Yeah!” She said and walked away from him.

Garret sighed and went back to the hall.

D-Day!!!!!

Everyone filled the hall. Friends, enemies, frenemies.

Long time relatives and also the citizens were around.

Irene went to.have her bath after so much work. She wore the go-wn that the queen gave her.

It was a little bit ti-ght and revea-ling.

“Jeez!” She said and tried to exhale.

She styled her hair and applied light make-up.

Wren and Zoe entered into her room without knocking.

She glared at them.

They quic-kly went back and closed the door. The next seconds, she heard their knock.

“Come in!” She yelled.

They c@m£ in with their hair pins.

She helped them with their hair and made sure it’s the same style since they were putting on the same dress.

“Where is Zoe? Are you Zoe? Are you Zoe?” She tea-sed them.

“Thanks Irene!”

“Thanks sis!”

They left the room.

Irene stood up and checked herself on the mirror.

They was on another knock on the door.

“Come in!” She yelled an st©pped staring at the mirror.

Garret walked in and pretended not to see her. He posed like a model, showing off his outfit.

Irene folded her arm not reacting to it.

“Okay, what the hell are you doing?” She asked.

Garret sighed and stared at her.

“Irene, you aren’t ro-mantic at all” he said.

“Am I?” She asked and slowly walked towards him.

Garret nodded and also moved back. He didn’t un-derstand the tone Irene used to ask that. He was either expecting a sl@p.

“Yeah, you are right” she said but Garret hit his back against the wall.

As she was about to turn to continue her t©uçh, Garret pu-ll-ed her and pinned her on the wall.

“But you are lucky that I am”

Irene’sl-ips curved into a smile.

“Oh plea-se Garret, let go of me” she said and struggled with him.

“No, I will leave you when you k!ssme”

Irene sh0t her moth open.

“Oh really, you are being n@ûghty huh?”

He nodded.

“Or…”

He whispered something into her ear.

“No no! I’ll k!ssyou” she said.

Garret couldn’t help but laugh.

“That’s my love. I’m waiting” he said and closed his eyes.

Irene slowly sli-pped out of his hands and opened the door without ma-king a sound.

She left the room and went to the p@rty.

Garrett stayed there with his eyes still closed waiting for a k!ss.

“Still waiting!” He said and pouted hisl-ips.

“What are you doing?”

He hears his brother’s voice and quic-kly opened his eyes.

“What? Where’s Irene?” He asked.

Tony laughed.

“You wanted to k!ssIrene. Good luck with that. The p@rty has started alre-ady” he said and left.

He looked round and saw that Irene left the room.

“Oh, Irene” he murmured and left the room.
