Jayden slowly opened his tired eyes and the first person he saw was a bubbly cute boy.

“Liam?” He cooed, after recognizing him.

Liam opened his eyes widely and sprang on his feet.

“He is awake!” He shouted.

Whitney ran to him, holding a tea cu-p which was filled up.

“Jayden…” Her calm voice trailed off.

Jayden gr-unted lowly while trying to stand. Whitney kept the tea cu-p and held him down.

“Stay put. You’re still recovering” She muttered.

“I thought you left” He almost sobbed.

She sighed and sat on the bed, close to him. He was laying down. She held his face and stared down at him.

“I won’t leave anymore” She said.

“Really??” He asked, quickly.

She nodded sweetly.

Jayden smiled.
“Its a relief cause I fu-cking missed you”

“Its fine now. I missed you more and I’m sorry for the way I treated you then. I take that back. I love you so much… I’m not leaving you any time soon”

“Thank goodness” He heaved.
“What of your mum?” He asked.

“In her room…She’s doing a thing or two” She replied.

“Here, drink this…” She brou-ght the cu-p closer, and fed him.

After few gulps, she kept the cu-p away.

“You coming back to WSU, right?” He asked.

She stared at him for a while before nodding, with a quick smile.

She remembered what her mum told her earlier.

“Whitney…Listen to me” Shannon stopped her from talking, and Whitney listened, keeping her crossed arms on her bo-obs.

“That guy…The dentist. I mean Noel…I like him. No, I love him”

Whitney scoffed.

“Isn’t he some guy you wanna se-duce and fraud him of all his a-ssests?” Whitney demanded.

“I’m going to Germany, of course” She replied, rolling her eyes.

“And what are you gonna do about Noel?, Or probably is he coming to Germany too?” She asked.

“Nope…I’m gonna have to break up with him…once the day comes”

“You’ve got yo be kidding me. What sort of love game is that. Its not funny, swears. Its so stupid”

“I fu-cking got a nice job, Whitney after all my fruitless years of being a jobless lady and a mother and because of love you want me …I don’t know, Make it go down the drain??” Shannon shrugged.

“You think love is so simple? Its fu-cking complicated”

“You got 50 days more, right? With that guy…Jayden?, Stay with him till then…Then we are gonna break up with the guys and leave”

Whitney only sighed.

“Look..50 days and we are outta here. You can persuade your lover boy to tag along if he wants. I might persuade Noel too. If he does love you, He will come along?”

“Mum!! He might be dependent but he still relies and lives off his dad”

“Okay then. Let’s quietly move out of Washington?”

Whitney scowled.

“You’re like the worst mom…ever”

“Can you lay here with me?” Jayden’s voice jolted her.

“Yeah” She smiled and laid with him.

They faced each other with bright faces, and warm smiles.

“I wanna lay on my head on something…and it isn’t a pillow” He whispered.

“You want a teddy bear? There’s another bo-oby here” She sais.

He giggled.

“Not a teddy bear either”

Whitney arched her brows and met his eyes, stealing glances at her che-st.

“You’re very Nau-ghty. Come here” She held his head, and laid it on her che-st.

He snuggled on it and chuckled

“Damn…This is life” He muttered.

AN HOUR LATER**

“Thanks ma’am” Jayden bowed.

“Yeah, yeah” Shannon nodded with a smile.

“Bye Liam. You too, Mum” Whitney waved.

“You two have a safe trip back” Shannon said.

“Bye…” Liam waved.

Whitney planted a quick kis-s on Liam’s cute cheeks before leaving.

They flagged a taxi, and entered while Shannon and Liam kept waving till it was out of sight.

Meanwhile in the taxi, Whitney took out her phone and hesitantly, logged into social media.

Her eyes caught a post which was quite popular cause it had lots of comments and reposts.

It was a recording.

“What’s this about?” She thought, and clic-ked the play icon.

Her ears itched and her eyes furrowed the more she heard.

Jayden also listened.

“The fu-ck” She whispered and her phone fell to down, from her hand.

“Jade…Jade is…Green shadow??” She thought.

“She was the main mastermind behind all this happenings??” She muttered, with tears dropping down her eyes.

“But,,, why is she doing this??” Jayden arched his brows, angrily.

Whitney sighed de-eperly and faced him.

“What else? It cause…she likes you” She muttered.

“What??”

“It makes sense now. I saw your picture once as her WhatsApp wallpaper the first time I met her. Prisca kinda exp-osed her to me then…though I didn’t quite un-derstand her but now, I do”

“I wonder what’s going on in WSU now”

“Like seriously” Whitney sighed.

Few minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of their hotel. Jayden paid the driver and they got down.

The instant they walked throu-ghthe gate, they met a huge crowd.

“What’s going on?” Jayden blinked.

“I guess the news moved around” She replied, seeing Jade who seemed to be getting bullied by the crowd.

They poured eggs, sand, and flour on her.

? Evil human!

“Jane!!” Desmond rushed to her front.

“I warned you, right?” He snarled.

She stared at him, diabolically with pure red eyes.

“How could you!! I warned you, that if you dared touch her…I would kill you myself” He screamed.

“Jane? This is the 2nd time I’m hearing this name from him” Jayden thought.

“Jade!!!” Whitney suddenly shouted.

Everyone stopped and looked at Whitney who was boiling in rage.

Jade furrowed her brows and hissed seeing Whitney.

Whitney walked fast to her, giving her a ha-rd glare.

Desmond and Jayden stared at them, wondering what would happen next.

“That witch. Never knew she had this side” Maureen spat.

“I’m quite surprised” Clark looked angry.

“May we never have those kind of friends” Natalie walked to them, with a wide satisfying sm-irk.

“Can’t believe she was the one behind Whitney acid accident and she even tried covering it up by saving her” John shook his head.

Whitney kept on glaring at Jade who showed her a sm-irk like she didn’t care anymore.

Whitney suddenly landed a loud and heavy slap against Jade’s cheek.

They all hailed Whitney.

Jade gasped and tried to return the slap but Desmond held her hand, while Jayden ran to shield her.

“Touch her and you’re dead” Desmond warned.

“You wouldn’t wanna lay a damn finger on her if I were you” Jayden cautioned.

“Oh shut the fu-ck. Now, that slap was for being Green shadow” Whitney said.

“And this- Whitney paused and slapped her ha-rd agian.

“fu-ck…” She gro-aned, bitterly.

“Is for falling for my boyfriend!!, Don’t you dare love my boyfriend. He’s mine!! Mine…

Everyone laughed and clapped, cheering her.

“Babe!! I love you” Maureen ran to her, and hug-ged her.

“I love you too” Whitney chuckled.

“Back off, She’s my girl” Jayden grinned.

Everyone laughed.

“Hey Prisca…Thanks…saw your post” Whitney came closer to her.

Prisca scoffed.

“Don’t thank me. Thank Nat. She brou-ght it to me in the first place…I’m even regretting posting it in the first place. Didn’t earn me the amount followers I wanted…” She rolled her eyes.

“Natalie??” Whitney asked, with wide-ned eyes.

“Yeah. She recorded it and gave it to me”

Whitney smiled and rushed to Natalie. She embraced her immediately.

“Thank you!” She gushed.

“Oh goodness” Natalie chuckled.

Whitney packed her things from Jade’s place and moved in with Maureen who welcomed her with opened arms.

“Can’t believe you are mine! Ugh! That loser lost big time”

“Truthfully speaking” Whitney nodded.

“Let’s go bring your bed in here” Maureen said, and Whitney agreed, nodding her head.

“By the way, I won’t be sleeping here tonight”

“Huh? Where will you now spend the night?” Maureen asked, inquistively.

“Jayden’s room” She whispered.

“Ohhh” Maurren laughed and Whitney chuckled.

JADYEN’S SPECIAL ROOM**

★ WHITNEY’S POV ★

“Hey” I whispered when Jayden opened the door, He was grinning and fu-ck, how handsome, hot, se-xy and better did he look.

He had a towel around his wai-st and I knew he was about to bath before my arrival.

His abs was so temptimg that I gulped thrice.

“cu-pcake” He whispered, seductively.

“I’m gonna leave first. Have your bath. I’ll come back” I smiled nervously and made to leave but he quickly held my wrist.

“I’m not gonna bite you. You’re my real and true girlfriend now. Come in” He smiled.

I giggled and entered the room.

“Lemme go have my bath” He said.

“Or do you wanna bathe together?” He whispered.

“I wanna have a quick shower if you don’t mind…but not together” I scratched my head, nervously.

Gosh, my heart certainly skipped a beat when I heard that. Maybe, that’s why I replied that way?,, cause I actually didn’t like my reply.

I didn’t want to refuse it in that way. Or maybe I wasn’t even prepared for what might happen, afterwards.

We’ll, don’t mind me.

“You shy?” He whispered.

I only chuckled and looked down.

“Okay then. Go have your shower” He said, and I nodded sheepishly.

I got on my feet, and he handed me a brown furred towel which I took into the bathroom.

When I entered, I sli-pped my shirt off and pulled down my jeans trousers.

I took off my breasband and pa-nties, then hung them on the line there. I turned on the faucet and the cool water shower rained down refreshing water upon my fair body.

I closed my eyes and enjoyed the cold shower as it poured on me, cooling my entire system. I closed my eyes gently.

It felt just like rainfall,,, the sound and everything made me feel like I was being beaten by the rain and I enjoyed it that way.

With my eyes still closed, I enjoyed the shower.

That was when I remembered something. I didn’t actually close the damn door.

Well, I wasn’t really worried. I didn’t know why… My eyes were still closed as the water kept trickling down my body.

Suddenly, I felt a hand wrap around my wai-st.

I shivered and quickly opened my eyes in shock and discovered it was actually Jayden.
