“Mi Lady?”Lorna bowed.

“Oh hey Lorna how’re you doing?”Maureen asked.

“Am fine Mi Lady thank you”Lorna replied.

“Are you okay Mi Lady??”Lorna asked and Maureen faced her with a confused look.

“Of course i am why are you asking such questions??”Maureen asked.

“Because you look different this morning,you’re not your usual self”Lorna said and Maureen laughed loud.

“Am not just in the mood of playing that’s all”Maureen chuckled.

“Do you want me to get anything for you Mi Lady?”Lorna asked with a smile.

“Yes just a cup of cold juice”Maureen replied and Lorna nod at her before walking out.

Maureen was busy reading a magazine when she saw lots of men on black suits walking inside the mansion with different body gaurds.

Maureen dropped her magazine and stared at them wondering where they were going to. Immediately Nanny Sarah stepped forwarded with a smile on plastered on her face.

“This way my honourables”She said and they immediately followed her.

Maureen frowned wondering what was going on. She was about to stand up and walk behind them but immediately had a change of mind.

“Why should i care?”She hissed loudly.

The room was silent and eerie and nobody dare said any word out of fear of being stripped off.

“So you mean you sold my shares to the Brinsky huh?”Draco shouted loudly.

“Am sorry Mr Black but i didn’t meant to do it on purpose i was threatened with my family’s life am so sorry”The man on his knees pleaded.

“Mateo?”Draco called loudly.

“Yes Fourth Master?”Mateo immediately stepped forward.

“Strip him of his post”Draco coldly ordered.

“Please please forgive me Mr Black”The guy pleaded but his cried were being heard from afar because he was being pulled out of the court room.

“So is there any other person here who gave out my shares??”Draco asked.

Maureen immediately lifted his head after he heard someone shouting and crying at the same time.

He stared at the man and Mateo who was pulling him out. She wanted to ask what was wrong but immediately stopped herself from doing so.

“Good Morning Mi Lady”Mateo who was coming inside bowed.

“What’s good about the morning?”Maureen rolled her eyes inwardly.

She continued reading her magazine when she heard her name. She ignored it thinking it was her illusion.

“Maureen?”

She immediately turned back and she was swiftly strucked with shock.

“Calix?”She immediately stood up and ran towards him.

“Maureen how are you?? How you okay?? How’s your health??”Calix asked.

“Am fine Calix am fine”Maureen said before breaking the hug.

“How did you get in?”Maureen asked shockingly.

“I used my own techniques. So it’s true you’re married without telling me your brother?”Calix frowned.

“Am so sorry it happened so soon and quick”Maureen immediately broke into tears.

“It’s okay it’s okay your big brother is here to set things straight”Calix hugged her again.

“Hey when did you turned to my big brother dummy?”Maureen hit his chest.

“For the now am your big brother. So be honest with me are you happy??”Calix asked Maureen who was wiping her tears.

“Do i look happy to you?”Maureen asked.

“Where is he??”Calix immediately asked.

“Upstairs”Maureen replied.

“Show me”Calix immediately held her hands and pulled Maureen along.

“So Mr Black will you be the one hosting this year world wide company party?”One of the honourables asked.

“Why should i host it?? Have been rejecting their offers and i will continue to do so cause i don’t have interest”Draco replied.

“But it’s one time oppor….”

“If you want to host it Mr Edward then you’re free to do so am not restricting you am i??”Draco coldly cut in.

“Am sorry Mr Black is just that…”Mr Edward trailed off after the door was kicked opened with a loud bang and they all stared at the person including Draco.

“Draco Blackwood?”Calix shouted before walking inside and was surprised to the see the room filled with people.

He stared at Maureen before searching for Draco with his eyes.

“So you’re Draco Blackwood right??”Calix pointed his hand at him.

“And who are you?”Draco asked confusedly.

“Calix. Calix Henderson, Maureen elder brother i mean Maureen younger brother”Calix quickly corrected.

Draco stared at him before starring at Maureen who was also starring back at him.

“You dare imprisoned my sister like she’s some slave of yours. Are you obsessed with her that you decided to go to this extent just to keep her for yourself huh??”He shouted angrily.

“Look at her can’t you see she’s not happy,she looks so thin like a model when she’s clearly not one. Her skin doesn’t glows anymore and her beauty is slowly fading away cause of your lack of care”

Maureen stared at his brother and smiled to herself. She felt glad for having a brother like Calix tho he might be stupid some times but she’s clearly proud of him.

“Am talking to you Draco Blackwood and you must respond back so stop being a dimwit”Calix cursed loudly and everyone in the room immediately stood up with angry looks on their faces.

Calix immediately faced Maureen.

“You didn’t tell me your husband was into the underworld business??”Calix asked.

“And what if he’s involved what will you do?”Maureen asked.

“Nothing, clearly nothing am not ready to lose my head”Calix immediately shooked his head and this shattered Maureen’s heart.

“Hey everyone am Calix i know am introducing myself for the second time hehehe…hello brother in law”He laughed akwardly.

What are you doing Calix?? Do something”Maureen shouted.

“What do you expect me to do huh?”Calix asked.

“But i don’t love him?”Maureen shouted.

“Then you will have to love him sister. Can’t you see how handsome and nice brother in law is??”Calix asked.

“I will be going now brother in law just came to say hi sorry for the disturbance”Calix waved before closing the door back.

“What?”He asked Maureen who was starring at him with an ugly face.

“Am so disappointed at you”Maureen shooked her head while walking down the stairs.

“Well don’t be. How would you have felt if you saw my head being chopped off by your husband??”Calix asked.

“Stop calling him that”Maureen said.

“Well good news sister i will be coming here to see you more often but for the now i need to go before they end their meeting bye”Calix pecked her cheek before running out.

“Calix??”Maureen called loudly but Calix only waved to her.

“What a big brat??”Maureen hissed loudly.
