“Hello there” Natalie winked.
“I’ve heard a lot about you” She added, and lifted her back away from her door.

Prisca’s brows arched.

“And…you are?”

Natalie smi-rked and walked closer to her.

“Natalie. You can call me Nat”

“Bye” Prisca said, arrogantly and made to leave but Natalie pulled her hair, making her come back.

“Ouch!” Prisca moa-ned, loudly.

“B!tch!! The fu-ck!!” She screamed.

“Sorry,,, It was a mistake. I wanted to pull your clothes instead” Natalie said, sarcastically.

“You’re crazy!!” Prisca screamed.

“I wanna talk to you” Natalie could only roll her eyes.

“And I clearly said,, you should leave. Leave me alone!!” She barked, and made to open her door.

“I would have posted it myself but it won’t go viral. Bye, I’ll meet another and better social influencer” Natalie said.

Prisca’s hand paused, and stayed glued to the knob. She swallowed and turned to her.

“What’s it?” Prisca asked.

Natalie turned to her, and lifted the pen up.

“Rich content” She winked.
“Let make it go viral, sweetie”

Prisca smi-rked and walked closer to Natalie.

“Yeah,,, Let’s make me famous too”

Jayden shook his finger and quickly brou-ght his face out. He gasped, and wiped the water off his eyes.

“Darn. One more second, and I would have died or something” He thought.

He looked at the door which looked like one, which could fall down in minutes.

He sighed and stood up, walked to the door and opened it.

“What’s wrong! I thought something happened!” Clark squealed.

Jayden only sighed.

John studied Jayden’s face for a while and glanced at the opened bathroom.

“Were you trying to kill yourself or what?” He asked.

“Almost…” He replied, wearing a jersey.

“So, why didn’t you kill yourself anymore?, Because of me, right?” Clark giggled.

“No, I couldn’t breathe” He answered, and Clark, and John exchanged glances.

“You baffle me at times” John snickered.

“I’ll be right back” Jayden said and left.

“Wait,,, where are you going to?” Clark asked but he had left, leaving the door ajar.

“Goodness. Hes such a je-rk” John said.

Desmond met Jayden at the entrance and stopped

“Hey, where are you off to?” He asked, but Jayden ignored him.

“Where’s his mind?” He thought, before leaving too.

Jayden flagged a taxi and entered it. He told the driver, the address and he drove off immediately.

He was actually going to Shannon’s place.

Whitney got on her feet, and ran to the door. She knocked it, but she received no response.

She turned the knob and sighed in relief, seeing it wasn’t even locked in the first place.

“Mum!!!” She shrieked, seeing Shannon on the floor.

Whitney was so confused now. She switched on her phone but it wasn’t taking time to use it for operation.

So, she went to her mum’s phone and called the recent number there.

“Shannon!”
“Finally, You called back. I thought you were ignoring me” A nice thick voice sounded.

Whitney wasn’t really concerned about who he was…

“Help me, please” Whitney sobbed.

“Shannon?” The voice was sounding doubtful now.

“This is Shannon’s daughter'”

“What?”

“Please, help my mother!” She cried out, glancing at her mum.

“Calm down. Where are you guys now?” He asked.

It was actually Noel.

“Georgia” She answered.

“Wow, I’m actually going to Washington now and I just pa-ssed Georgia 10 to15 minutes ago. I’m gonna turn back. Send the address now, okay?”

“Okay sir. Thank you” She sniffed.

Noel carried Shannon on his shoulder while Liam was on Whitney body. Two bags, hers and her mother’s were around her ne-ck.

“We’ll come for her car later. Let’s take your mother to the nearest dental clinic first”

“Is it her tooth? How did you know about that?” She asked, and made Liam sit on the backseat. She sat close to him.

“I’m actually close to Sha… to your mum and I’m a dentist too. She came to my hospital to get surgery for her tooth” He said, and started driving, immediately.

Whitney frowned.

“And why didn’t you call her after she booked the surgery?, Look at her now” She said.

“We did call her…but she rejected it, so as the nurse reported” He explained.

“What? Why?”

“You need to ask your mother that, immediately she wakes” He replied, and stopped the car.

“Just stay here. I’ll keep your mum safe” He a-ssured her.

He carried Shannon and rushed out of the car, and entered the dental clinic across the road.

Whitney eyes opened when she heard a knock on the windscreen. She turned her head to see Noel smiling.

She winded the gla-ss down and looked at him.

“How’s she? My mum…” She muttered.

“She’s fine-

“Thank God” She heaved.
“I can come and see her, right?”

“Sure. She’s on drip right now cause her temperature is quite high”

“I guess we’ll stay here for tonight?” She asked, coming down.

“Not at all. We can move her out when she takes her medication. That should be 2-3 hours from now”

“Sis!! I wanna see mum too” Liam suddenly yelped.

“Okay, Liam. Come off” She said, and he jumped down.

Shannon moa-ned weakly as her eyes opened. The first person she saw was the nurse checking up on her.

“Where am I?” She mumbled.

The nurse smiled.

“You’re awake”

“Oww” She gro-aned, and tou-ched her jaw.

“You were rushed here after your consciousness failed. Thankfully, it was a dentist who brou-ght you here so he did the operation successfully and properly, cause our doctor wasn’t around. He went to attend an emergency call outside” The nurse explained.

“Wait a minute. You said something about a dentist bringing me here? What dentist? When did Whitney start lying? fu-ck, my head” She moa-ned, and ru-bbed her forehead.

“Oh…” The nurse smiled, broadly.

“Here he is. I’ll leave y’all alone” She said, and left.

Shannon looked at her side and gasped loudly.

“Noel? What’s he doing here? Okay, now…I’m dreaming” She rolled her eyes.

“Mum!!” Liam screamed, and ran to her.

“Oh…Liam came into my dream world too” She sighed, and caught him, taking him to her side.

“Mum, are you okay?” He asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine” She smiled.

“Mum…” She heard her daughter’s small voice.

She turned and sighed.

“Like, seriously? This dream is getting so weird now”

“And who said it’s a dream. Do you mind?” Whitney asked, rheotically and pinched her.

“Ouch!! Ouch!!!” Shannon screamed.

“So, this…this isn’t a dream?” She muttered, watching Noel who walked closer.

“Hello Shannon” He cooed.

Shannon scoffed and took her eyes to the other side.

“I’ll leave you two to talk. Liam, Let’s go” Whitney said, but he shook his head in negativity.

“Come on, now!” She grumbled, and lifted Liam quickly.

“Let me go!” I wanna stay with mum!” He cried, wriggling.

“Stay in the car…She’ll call you guysl soon” Noel said, and Whitney nodded, holding the stubborn lad.

They left immediately.

“Hey…” Noel whispered and sat close to her.

“Heard you took the painful tooth out. What can I say? Thank you” She said.

He smiled briefly.

“I hate you…” She looked at him, her eyes w-et with tears already.

Noel sighed.

“Where were you? I waited, I was worried, scared…No calls, no texts, no emails…No- She paused, and sniffed.

“Nothing at all. Where the fu-ck where you? I thought you even left me” She said.

“That day…I wanted to tell you I was leaving but you shunned me, saying you didn’t wanna speak with me”

“Yeah. I was trying to ignore you after the one night stand we had” She muttered.

He sighed.

“My grandpa died…”

“Gosh….I’m…I’m so sorry”

“He’s my family, like my dad and my mum together. I’m an orphan, actually. Ohh,,, I’ve other families like my aunts, uncles, cousins and so on. No siblings though” He said.

“I’m…really sorry about his death.My condolences”

“Its fine. I went to pay my respects to him. Our phones were collected. We fasted for days. It was tough.. Weird customs…” He chuckled, lowly and shortly.

“I’m…sorry about that” He muttered.

“So, why are you in Georgia?” He asked.

She blinked.

“Huh?”

“Georgia. Why are you here?, Even saw you at a motel”

She swallowed.

“Huh… I …I came for sight seeing” She chuckled.

“Heard a lot about Georgia and decided to visit and see things here for myself and it so worth it”

“You got kids? Two” He said

“Yeah. I ain’t ashamed of them. Got them from 2 different men. Not that I’m proud of myself anyway. Just proud I got them by my side.. They’re great kids with a nasty bad mother”

“Hmph! Don’t say that. i like you… I’m sure you’re a great mother. Those men would have given you a chance then. They lost. Lucky me,, I might not leave this lady in front of me…cause damn”

She smiled and he returned the smile.

He tou-ched her forehead with his palm, trying to check her temperature.
