Whitney sniffed and took down her ear piece and at once, she heard her ringtone blaring like it was mad at her or something.

“No calls, darling” Shannon whispered, softly.

“I know” She whispered back and switched off her phone.

She laid her head down and closed her eyes, trying to at least sleep.

And hoping that if she woke up, she would forget all the people she met, and memories she had in WSU.

FEW HOURS LATER**

“Wake up, babies. Welcome to our home” Shannon voice sounded and Whitney flew her eye lids open.

Her eye balls scanned every part of the car.

She sighed tiredly and looked out.

“We’re in Georgia, already?” She asked.

“Well. Mum is a fast driver. I’m gonna carry Liam from the back seat” Shannon smiled.

Whitney stepped out of the car and studied the environment, confusedly.

“Where’s the apartment?” She asked.

Shannon carried sleeping Liam out and faced her daughter.

“Here darling…” She pointed.

“This isn’t an apartment. I’m going back. You lied to me!” She scowled.

“I did for your own good. And hey, I forgive you for lying” Shannon said, with sarcasm in her voice.

Whitney sighed.

“At least, let’s lounge in an hotel. Why a motel??” She asked.

“Its cheaper. Let’s go” Shannon said, and walked into the small bungalow.

“Muumm” Whitney moa-ned, and followed her reluctantly.

“She hasn’t picked her call yet?” Jade asked.

Maureen shook head and broke down into loud sobbings.

“Who did this to you, Whitney?, I’ll kill that person first!” She said.

Jade sighed.

“Her things are still here. So, maybe she hasn’t left yet”

Jayden suddenly bursted into the room and they flinched.

“Whitney…Whitney…Did she tell you anything?”

“Meaning??” asked Jade.

“She’s gone! She left!” He cried out.

“Oh no! She really left! I thought she wanted to stay alone and rest her head. Jade told me Whitney crept into his room this morning and picked few of her things” Maureen said.

“What? You saw her?” He asked.

“Kinda” She replied.

“And you didn’t stop her?” He bellowed.

Jade frowned but let it go quickly.

“I never knew what she was up to…”

“Try…try calling her. She’s isn’t picking my calls nor replying my texts. Aak her to come back. Tell her I miss her badly. She wouldn’t have gone that far” He cried out.

“We’ve tried caling her but shes picking” Maurren sniffed.

“Darn it!!” Jayden growled, and hit the door with his fist.

It started bleeding immediately.

Jade gasped, and held his hand.

“Are you alright?” She asked, softly.

He snapped his hand off and left without a word.

“Look at what you did to my baby, Whitney. Also, Its high time…I exp-ose my true identity” She thought.

“Delete it now!!” Desmond shouted at the influencers who was in the process of posting what they had caught on their phone screen.

In fear, they did so except Prisca who stood firm and unbothered.

“I ain’t deleting any fu-ck, niggar” She spewed.

“This would literally boost my page so yeah, I ain’t deleting it. Unless, you got a better content” She said, with all vigor.

“Jayden didn’t pay you for this” He shook his head.

Prisca laughed, obnoxiously.

“Niggar, He did pay for this. He asked us to get this event to the world and yo! that’s what I’m doing. You feel me?”

Desmond scoffed.

“He never wished it this way”

“Haven’t you heard or seen an insane plot twist…This is it, bruh”

“And why would I hate her? I don’t even know her. Just recently saw her leaked conversation with Jayden. Gave it a repost and boom, my blog and page boosted. She’s the content” She smi-rked.

“So, you’re doing this cause you need followers!” He glared at her.

“Why else would I be doing this? I’m an influencer for crying out loud”

“And you need content?” He asked.

“Yeah. I got it” She showed him her phone which played the video.

He sighed.

“Delete it. I’ll give you content”

She laughed suddenly, and covered her mouth.

“3 days!! Give me 3 days. I’ll make your blog grow. Its a promise, please”

“Okay then” She muttered.

“But I need you to answer just this teeny question. You can do that, right?” She whispered and walked closer to his face.

“What’s that?” He asked.

She smiled and dusted his che-st when nothing was actually there.

Desmond just watched her.

“Why are you doing this? No…The right question should be…Who are you doing this for? Jayden? Or Whitney?”
