“Whitney!!” A loud vibrating scream came from behind.

They all gasped and turned to see Jayden running to her from afar.

His eyes were damn red and teary. Desmond is also running and his mood isn’t good either.

Jayden ran to her and knelt down. He ru-bbed her hair and wiped her face.

“Are you alright?” He asked, tears rolling down his eyes.

She nodded, quietly.

“Come…” Jayden sniffed and lifted her up.

He carried her and started walking away but this didn’t stop the others from their jestful and hateful comments.

A tear ran down Desmond’s eye when Jayden walked past him, with Whitney in his arms.

He looked up to see Prisca and now, He’s twice as angry.

“Prisca!” He growled and went to her.

He grabbed her arm, almost twisting it.

“Ow…Oww…Stop. What are you doing? Let me go” She said, angrily.

“You…What did you do?” He asked.

“What do you mean by that? I just did what I was supposed to do. Your cousin even helped take Whitney down, so-

“My cousin helped you? What cousin?”

“Jade. Isn’t she you cousin? Someone that loathes Whitney?, No one knows the real her?? Funny… Darn it! Let me go!! You’re hurting me!! What’s wrong with you?” She snapped her hand away.

“Wait. Don’t tell me you have feelings for that…girl??” She asked.

Desmond was quite absent minded. He just ran off.

“He’s a pyscho” She hissed.

“Jane!!!” Desmond roared, as soon as he entered the room.

Jade growled and turned to him.

“Can you stop calling me that? Its Jade”

“What did you and Prisca talk about?” He protested immediately.

Jade blinked.

“What do you mean? We didn’t talk about anything”

“Oh…really?”

“Yes!”

“Then, why did Prisca accuse you of helping her?”

“You know who Prisca really is. She can be stupid at times. Trust me”

“I just hope you don’t have a hand in this cause I’m gonna kill you if you do”

“And why would I even hurt Whitney in the first place? She’s my friend, you coward”

“Just be careful” He muttered and left.

Just then Jade heard Whitney’s phone ringing and she looked at it.

“Babe!!” Maureen yelled and bursted in, that instant.

Jade quickly faced her.

“Whitney? Where’s she?” Maurren asked, worriedly.

JAYDEN’S SPECIAL ROOM**

He sighed, looking at her leg.

He just finished applying ointment on it after she took her bath.

Whitney is wearing his purple hoodie which stopped on her upper thi-ghs.

“Whitney? Let’s just go to the hospital” He muttered, with sadness.

“No. Its fine” She flashed a smile.

“I’ll be okay. Its getting better now” She further said, truthfully.

Jayden only let out a sigh.

“I’m surprised though. How did they find out about us?” She asked.

“You haven’t seen the news online?”

She only shook her head.

“Oh…Uh…Our conversation at that party was leaked online. Seems someone recorded our dialogue from behind and you wanna know the most interesting part?”

“What?” She asked.

“The person who posted it was green shadow”

“What am I even expecting? It doesn’t surprise me anymore” She whispered.

“So, what do you think will happen to us now? What’s next?” He asked.

She looked down.

“Ending things with you and leaving” She thought.

She blinked her eyes and looked at him.

“I don’t know” She replied, softly.

“What’s your own say on this?” She asked.

Jayden gave a warm snike.
“I’m gonna set things right. I’m gonna declare to everyone that I love you so much now and we ain’t fake anymore. I’m gonna convince those that thinks we don’t love each other, that we love each other now”

“I’m gonna be with you forever, Whitney. No fake stuffs. No contracts. We’ll be a real couple and do what real couples do. Don’t worry,,, everything will be fine. This will pa-ss away too”

She only smiled.

Desmond entered without knocking. He rushed to them.

“Whitney-

“I’m fine. I’m fine. Goodness, Don’t exaggerate now” She giggled.

“Whitney!!” Maureen suddenly jumped in, rushed to her and gave her a ti-ght hug.

“Hey. You’re gonna choke me at this rate” Whitney laughed.

“What can I say? I’m just glad and relieved you’re fine. Thank goodness. fu-ck those airheads. I’m less concerned about you and Jayden’s relationship. I just want to see you both happy and hale. That’s it” Maureen inhaled.

Whitney smiled, warmly.

“Whitney” Jade whispered and walked in, slowly.

“Here…Your mother called” She handed the phone to her.

Whitney checked and saw she missed 13 calls from Shannon.

She bit her li-p and switched off her phone.

“I’ll talk to her later” She only said.

Clark later walked in.

“You good, right?” He asked, out of concern.

“I’ve never been this good” She chuckled.

John followed suite immediately.

“And who invited this hooligan?” Maureen scowled.

“I did” Natalie came from behind.

“I couldn’t come on my own. So, I asked him to tag along. He was willing to, too” She added.

“What’s with the ne-ck scarf? You don’t wear those” Whitney said.

“Oh…So, you do pay close attention to me, huh? Well, I got a small cut there”

“Why? What happened? How did you fall on your ne-ck?” Maureen giggled.

“I wonder too. How the fu-ck did it even happen?” Natalie muttered, and faced Jade who wasn’t even looking back at her.

“So, you don’t wanna come to our room?” Jade asked.

Whitney just shook her head.

“I wanna stay here with Jayden tonight. Sleep without me. Or Maurren could join you?”

Jade inhaled and nodded.
“Anyhow it is. Bye” She waved.

Whitney also waved, with a broad smile.

THAT NIGHT**

Shannon bit her li-p strongly, and paid little attention to the sharp pain fron her tooth.

“Why the h*ll isn’t she picking?? How dare she??” She growled.

“Who taught her this??! We are leaving! I don’t care anymore. To h*ll with everyone! Jayden! Noel!! Urgh! What was I even thinking??” She stomped her foot and went to Liam’s room.

He was drawing when she came in.

“Liam?” She called.

“Hmm” He answered.

“What are you doing?”

“My a-ssignment. We were asked to draw our family and our home” He smiled, now looking at her.

Shannon inhaled de-eperly and ru-bbed her forehead.

“You gotta stop now. You won’t be going to school tomorrow”

Liam face turned sad immediately.

“Why?” He moa-ned.

“We are leaving” She replied.

“Huh?”.

“Park your things, lad” She said, and closed the door, leaving him, dumbfounded.
