(Semi-Final Episode)

Min Seok’s POV

I was currently seated at the beach with Aubrey after our little running around. I think I should confess my feelings for her now before it’s too late, I wouldn’t want what happened the last time to repeat itself.

“Aubrey” I called holding her hands tenderly “or should I say Byeol?”

“Whichever you call me is fine” she said with a small smile

“You know I’ve always had feelings for you right? Either as Aubrey or as Byeol” I said and paused to watch her reaction

“You had feelings for me when we were in school?” she asked surprised

“Yes. Didn’t you know?”

“I kind of guessed you had feelings for me but I didn’t know it was a serious one, I thought the feelings died down later on”

“It didn’t, I was actually stopping myself from falling in love with you because I’ve always loved Byeol and I’ve always wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Because of that, I didn’t ask you out or try to lead you on so you won’t get heartbroken in the end. If only I knew they were the same person” I said and I saw a guilty expression on her face

“You don’t have to feel guilty, I’m fine now. Did you also have feelings for me? Either as Min Seok or Jae In?” I asked staring keenly at her

“I didn’t have feelings for you as Jae In. But as Min Seok, I was really confused. I didn’t know who my heart really beats for between you and Liam but my best friend asked me to choose Liam because he’s my soulmate. Soulmate my foot” she muttered the last part to herself but I still heard it

“Why did she say Liam is your soulmate?”

“It’s just some superstition she believes in. The first time Liam held my hand, we both felt sparks so my friend concluded we were soulmate.”

“So you don’t believe he’s your soulmate?”

“Yes, I don’t believe”

“Why? Because of what happened?”

“Let’s not talk about Liam, please”

“Okay then, let’s talk about us! Will you be my girlfriend?”

Aubrey’s POV

Why is Min Seok putting me in this kind of situation? I’m not ready for any relationship now after what Liam did.

“You don’t have to feel pressured about it Aubrey. Just say yes or no, I will be fine with either of it” he said after some minutes of silence

“I will think about it. But before then, there’s something you need to know. It’s still about my identity!”

“Alright, I’m listening” he said urging me to go on

“I’m the President’s daughter!” I dropped the bombshell

“I don’t un-derstand. The President of which a-ssociation? Or is it a company?” he asked looking lost

“The President of this country” I said and looked away from him

“You mean you’re the daughter of the President? President Connor?”

“Yes”

“Wow! Incredible! Just how many things are you hiding?”

“Stop it Min Seok, you’re making me feel bad. It’s only my identity I hid, nothing more! No one knows about this except you and my best friend”

“Fine, I’m sorry”

“It’s okay. Ohh! My friend is calling, I have to go now! She must be searching for me already”

“Alright! Take care of yourself and don’t forget I will be waiting for your answer”

“I won’t forget. Take care of yourself too”

“Bye” he waved at me and I also did the same before finally leaving

I just hope Samantha doesn’t ask me where I went to because I don’t have the strength to give her the full gist she wants to hear.

Min Ju’s POV

I hope that Samantha is happy wherever she is now because I’ve done what she asked me to do. I don’t even know how I’m supposed to go out now because the hateful words are just too much. I took out my phone and checked the comments again!

“She doesn’t even deserve to live in this same world as other humans. First, she murdered someone and now she has the guts to mess with our Aubrey. If I ever set my eyes on her, she won’t live to tell the story” I read the first comment I came across

“I can’t even believe someone like her exists in this world, doesn’t she has a heart? Gosh! I’m so disappointed, I never knew Koreans were like this” I read another comment

Why are they seeing all Koreans as bad people just because of what I did? These people never cease to amaze me!

“Aubrey is too soft hearted, I know what I would have done if I was the one. She would have learnt a great lesson in the hardest way possible” I read the third one again

I shouldn’t read any comment anymore since they’re all hateful comments.

I will be returning to Korea in two days time. I have to use shades and dress in a way people won’t recognize me because if they do, then I’m done for!

Aubrey’s POV

Three days later

I and Min Seok have gotten closer these past days and I’m sure of my feelings for him now! I think I’m now clear on something.

Liam is my soulmate but I rejected him because of his bad ways while I ended up falling in love with Min Seok.

I don’t necessarily have to end up with my soulmate because I might not even feel a thing for the so called soulmate.

Although, I love Liam but finding out that the reason he came to me from the start was because of a bet makes me really sad and hurt.

If it wasn’t for the bet, I might not even find out that he’s my soulmate and nothing will happen between us until the end of highschool.

But it’s different with Min Seok. He came to me on his own will and asked us to be friends. From there, we both fell in love with each other but we were confused about our feelings.

I’ve decided to say yes to Min Seok whenever he asks for the answer to his question because I’ve fallen de-eperly for him now.

I checked my ringing phone and found out he was the one calling. Wow!

“Hello honey” he said once I picked the call making a blus-h creep onto my face

“Good morning” I greeted shyly

“Morning darling, how was your night?”

“Splendid, yours?”

“Fine I think. It would have been perfect if you were by my side” he said making my cheeks heat up again

“Have you eaten?” I asked trying to change the topic

“Yes. What about you?”

“I’ve eaten too”

“That’s great! So have you thought about it? You know what I’m talking about”

“Uhhm…. Yeah, I thought about it overnight”

“Okay. So what’s your answer? Is it yes or no?”

“It’s a ………. Yes!!!”

“You mean you will be my girlfriend?” he asked anxiously

“Yeah”

“Wow! Thank you Aubrey! I was thinking you were going to say no. I love you!”

“I love you too” I managed to stutter after a while

“You will get used to it with time, don’t worry”

“I guess so”

“Let’s go on our first date then or are you busy today?”

“Not really”

“Let’s go then. I will pick you up by 12pm so go get dressed”

“Alright, I’ll be waiting”

“I love you”

“I love you too” I said and ended the call

Everything is perfect now! I found the guy I want to spend the rest of my life with and I’m doing what I love most already which is singing. I couldn’t have asked for more!
