Jayden shifted close to Whitney who was still gazing at him.

“Do you know how wrong I was about you?” He asked.

“What do you mean?” She asked, softly.

Jayden sighed and shook his head. He took his arm around her and placed his palm against her back.

He came closer and embraced her warmly.

“You were worried, huh? I’m sorry” He muttered.

Whitney was quite confused.

“Can you…explain? I don’t un-derstand what you’re talking about” She said.

He broke the hug and stared at her pretty face. He smiled, ru-b-bing her chin, gently.

“I received a message today” He said.

“Hmm…Hmm?” She hummed.

“A picture was sent to me”

“A picture? What picture?”

“You and Desmond. I saw you know…I saw you two acting all lovey dovey”

Whitney eyes blinked, anxiously.

“Oh,,, that. I can exp-

“No, Its fine. I was the one that got upset without finding the true story”

“Who sent it to you?, I mean the picture?” She asked.

Jayden sniffed her hair and shut his eyes. He smiled and opened them.

“Wait a minute…” Whitney muttered and disengaged from him.

“Is it green shadow again?” She asked.

“Did that thing send you the picture?”

Jayden laughed lowly at her statement and nodded.

Whitney sighed.

“Do you know what this means?, Green shadow is close”

Jayden laughed again and hug-ged her.

“I don’t care if that thing is close. What I know is that, that thing…whoever and whatever it is. It won’t come between us ever again”

“That thing just hates me” She whispered.

“Or maybe it hates the girls I’ve been dating. Green shadow was the reason i found out about Natalie, kis-sing some guy who turned out to be Clark, of course”

“And should I just a-ssume that thing is a female? Maybe, she likes you? And wants you for herself? Gosh. I just developed goosebumps” She said.

Jayden disengaged from her and smiled, looking at her.

“I’m sorry. I made you worried and acted so rashly”

“Nah, Its fine. I’m glad we are all good now” She smiled back.

He leaned closer to her face and she quickly shut her eyes, pouting her li-ps. He smiled, looking at her cute face.

He pec-ked her on the tip of her nose and she quickly flew her eyes open.

“Cute” He whispered.

She giggled.

“So, I guess you’ll be coming back to our room?” She asked.

He nodded.

They both stood up and proceeded to the room.

“By the way? Why didn’t you kis-s me on li-ps? I’m not saying I don’t like the kis-s on the nose though. But, I was warming my tongue already for yours” She said.

Jayden bit his lower li-p, trying ha-rd not to chuckle. If only, he knew how cute and handsome he was, that way.

“You know, you’re Nau-ghty, right?” He asked, and she blew raspberry at him.

He giggled and held her close by her shoulder.

“I’m gonna kis-s you but I’m saving my li-ps for now”

“What? Why?? For??” She frowned.

“That day. We aren’t officially real couples yet. On the 50th day, you’re gonna accept me and voila! this li-ps is all yours. You can play with it all day. And something else too. Its better, bigger and sweeter” He said, dancing a brow, foxily.

Whitney coughed, hiding her the flatters she was feeling.

“Oh…just stop” She gave him a bump on his arm.

“By the way, I’m glad your two lost” He said, as they went in.

“I and Desmond?” She asked.

“Hmm…Hmm” He nodded as they both sat on the sofa, facing the TV.

“Why?” Whitney furrowed her brows.

“We were acting cause of you, you know?”

“You know losing, means you two aren’t meant to be couples at all. You don’t fit period” He said, laughing, lowly.

She scoffed.

“Who told you that? You gotta see how good we were when we posed for the pictures. It’s just that those that voted for us don’t have keen eyes”

Jayden quickly drew her up and made her sit on his thi-ghs.

“What now? What now?” She wide-ned her eyes.

He held her bu-tt and her eyes wide-ned the more.

“Wha…What are you doing?” She asked.

“Let’s give them a much better pose” He whispered, his eyes stealing glances at her li-ps.

Whitney gawked at him. He leaned his li-ps closer to her ne-ck and kis-sed it, by the side.

Whitney eyes briefly flic-kered, cause she was apparently, flustered.

He took his li-ps away and smiled at her face.

“Now, tell me…why people won’t vote for us when we take that pose?”

She shook her head and tapped his shoulder.

“You’re so Nau-ghty. I thought you said you were saving your li-ps”

“I did save them” He smiled.
“From your li-ps” He added, and they both laughed, at each other faces.
