“Where did you get this car?” Natalie asked, as Jade drove slowly.

“Borrowed it from John. He actually persuaded the the lounge officials for me” Jade replied.

“I see” Natalie said.

“So, which boutique we are going to?” She asked.

“I know one and they give good discounts and sell quality clothes. You’ll like it” Jade smiled.

Natalie nodded.

“Its quite sunny, you know” Jade cooed, her eyes now in front.

Natalie eyes looked out of the window.

“No long talk about that” She answered, inspecting the weather.

“Then, you must feel thirsty. I bought 2 cu-ps of espresso for us. Here” Jade took it from beside, and handed it to Natalie.

“Yo, thanks. I was actually craving for this” Natalie said.

Jade smiled shortly when she saw Natalie gulping down the content from the cu-p.

“Because of you, Jayden also forgot about me” Jade thought.

★ FLASH BACK=3 YEARS AGO ★

Since when Jade arrived to WSU, she hasn’t stepped her eyes on Jayden.

It has been 2 weeks now.

He hasn’t been attenfing cla-ss,

Submitting a-ssignments.

And going for project works.

When Jade asked Desmond what was going wrong.

He had replied, Jayden wasn’t feeling too well. He still hasn’t gone over Natalie yet.

The picture the anonyms had sent him made him depressed and devastated.

“So, where’s he now?” Jade asked.

“His special room. That’s his main room. He just prefers staying with I and Clark”

“Can I go see him?”

“What! Have you gone nuts? Leave the guy. He needs space and rest. By the way, why do you need to see him so much. Do you even know him?” Desmond scoffed.

“You won’t un-derstand” Jade said

“Just leave Jayden for now. If you want to see him, that should be later when his mind has settled down, okay? If you go to him now, he might ignore or vent on you” Desmond advised.

“Okay then” Jade replied.

A WEEK LATER**

“You’re aren’t serious, truthfully speaking. Suddenly? You wanna come to school? Because of today’s examination” Desmond said as the 3 friends walked fast to the hall.

“Leave him. He doesn’t wanna fail” Clark chuckled.

“Hmphh! Are you sure he won’t still fail? He hasn’t been reading lately!” Desmond rolled his eyes.

“And don’t tell me you don’t know who Jayden is. He’s smart as Fu-ck. Very brillant dude. Please, let be best friends even in our next life” Clark smiled, widely.

However, Jayden was just silently cold

Jade who was coming in front smiled when she saw Jayden for the very first time since she came to WSU.

She walked fas-ter to him.

“Hi” She waved, looking at him.

Jayden looked at her coldly for a while before throwing his face away.

He left her without uttering a word.

“I told you” Desmond said, indistinctly.

Jade sighed sadly.

AFTER ALL EXAMS=2½ WEEKS LATER**

“Congratulations” Jade smiled.
“I heard you pa-ssed the exams” She stretched her hand for a shake.

“Yeah, thanks” He said, ignoring her hand.

“Uh…Okay” She chuckled nervously and took it down.

“You’re Jayden Jovel, right?” Jade asked, slowly.

“Yeah” He answered.

She flashed a smile and nodded.

“Actually, I’m Ja-

“I see you’ve me my sweet cousin. What’s up, Jade?” Desmond interrupted, choking, her, with his arm, playfully.

“Hey, stop” Jade tried pushing him.

“Nice to need you, Jade”

She smiled.

“Yeah…Yeah sure”

“Let’s just take things one at a time, Jane. Like you said before, one stwp at a time. Slow and steady will eventually win the race” She thought.

Well, so as she thought.

Things didn’t end up well for her. Before one could apprehend what was going on, Jayden started fli-rting around. Booking different girls and using them to satisfy his se-xual urge.

It never stopped…and this made Jade worried though she waited for him. And he did stop, that was when Whitney entered his life.

★ PRESENT DAY ★

Natalie inhaled de-eperly after finishing the content of the cu-p. She felt her eyes getting all funny and giddy.

“Okay? What’s going on? You didn’t tell me espressos now take the form of seductives. Cause Fu-ck, Im Fu-cking getting dizzy” She whispered and the cu-p fell down her hand, instantly.

Her eye lids covered her eyes and her head laid on Jade’s shoulder.

She was asleep now.

Jade gr-unted and pushed her head away away aggressively.

Natalie head slammed the window ha-rd but she didn’t still wake up.

“The downer worked big time” She smi-rked.

Natalie felt the harsh coldness of liquid shower down her body. She gasped aloud and quickly flew her lids up.

“Fu-ckkk” She shuddered.

She looked around and saw her hands were behind.

It seemed to be tied up since she wasn’t even able to break free.

Her legs were bundled up too with thick ropes.

“What’s happening??” She shook in fear.

She looked around and saw she was on a silent road, it was a hill and she was few steps away from the cliff.

“Like where the h*ll am I? And where’s Jade!”

“Looking for me?” Jade asked, coming into view with a devilish smile on her face.

“Phew! Thank God I found you. I think some hoodlums stopped thelr car when I was asleep and hijacked it. They bundled me up as you can see. I’m glad you’re safe. Come,,, save me”

Jade gave her an agitating look.

“How the Fu-ck did you just form this?, Cause none of this even happened”

Natalie wide-ned her eyes.

“So,,, what’s happening? Why am I tied up? Am I still sleeping? I need to wake up then!! This is terrifying”

“Shut up! You’re irking me like damn. Are you dumb?? Can’t you see that I’m the instigator?”

“Whaa…at??…Why…Why are you doing this?” Natalie inquired.

Jade scoffed and kicked her continuously.

This really affected her as her body kept moving to the cliff edge.

“Wait! What…are you doing! You must be crazy! Are you trying to get me killed??” She ranted.

“Wow. How did you know?” Jade smi-rked and bent low to her.

Natalie scowled.

“Are you kidding me right now?”

“Look” Jade gestured, with her head.

Natalie swallowed ha-rd and slowly turned her head back. Her heart skipped when she saw a river down the cliff.

“Jade…Jade…Can you be serious? What’s this about? Is this a prank? To make me cry? Okay…Okay…I’ll cry”

Jade grabbed her ne-ck and clenched her hand around it.

“Can you stop? You’re getting annoying already” She glared, choking her.

Natalie gulped and coughed afterwards.

“Look, a slight nudge and you’ll find your body falling down this cliff. And no one will ever see you again”

“Whaattt?” She stuttered.

“I heard this cliff is 600 meters high”

“But what I’m sure of, is that, you’ll die even before you reach the ground. Its an a-ssurance”

“Why are you doing this to me? Whyyyy?” She cried.

“You could have kept shut instead of rambling! Why did you have to tell her?? You caused this yourself!” Jade sparked.

“Tell her? Who? What are talking about?!”

“Green shadow! You told her green shadow made you do it! I’m talking about the acid accident. I knew you were a coward but I never realized it was at its peak” Jade shook her head.

Natalie eyes blinked slowly and her pale li-ps parted.

She was getting a hang of it already. It was coming altogether. Jade noticed and read her thoughts.

She carried Natalie’s face up and smiled at her.

“Yes, honey. I’m Green Shadow”
