Irene stared at Garrett as he walked away from her.

She was confused and angry at the same time.

“Where the hell are you going?” She yelled.

“I’m not going anywhere, I’m just waiting for the rain” he said and sat on his car.

“Okay, okay. This is weird. I nee-d to go home now. I can’t stand un-der the rain and it looks quite heavy” she complained staring at the sky.

Garrett chuckled and didn’t respond to her.

Irene felt some drops of rain on her skin.

“Oh no, it has started” she murmured and ran to the car.

She tried to open it but it’s locked.

The rain started fully. They were both drenched un-der the rain.

Irene bec@m£ furious she went and stood in front of Garrett who was enjoying the rain.

“Now you’ve gotten what you wanted. I’m we-t now. Can we go alre-ady?” She asked calmly with a little bit of annoyance in her voice.

Garrett jumped from his car and stared at Irene.

She diverted her gaze elsewhere not wanting to look at her.

“Fine, if you don’t look at me, we won’t go home” he threatened her.

Irene quic-kly stared at him.

A smile crept on Garrett’s face as he brushed some of her we-t her off her face.

“You know you look h0t when we-t” he whispered.

“Garrett, plea-se let’s go alre-ady. I’m cold” she cries out.

Garrett exhaled and nodded.

“Fine, let’s go” he said and opened the car.

Irene quic-kly got in. She turned off the AC and folded her arms.

Garrett started the car and drove slowly.

“I’m sorry” he said slowly.

He find it weird apologising to her because he hasn’t say ‘i’m sorry’ to anyone before especially a girl.

“For what?” She asked.

“The rain” he replied and stole glances from her.

Irene scoffed and looked out of the window.

Rachel and Stephanie arrived home after ma-king plans with the guy, Jones.

They were very happy that their plans were going accordingly.

As they c@m£ out of their car, Garrett drove into the compound.

The rain has st©pped but not fully.

Irene c@m£ down from his car, that made Rachel and Stephanie shocked.

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” Rachel asked Stephanie.

“Of course. The devil is with your brother” Steph replied slowly.

Garrett stood beside Irene.

“Go have some rest huh, see you tomorrow”

Irene nodded and left.

As Irene walked pas-s them, they smiled.

“Hey Irene”

“Good evening my princess” she greeted and left.

She was cold, very cold.

Their gaze followed her till she disappeared into the palace.

“So where are you girls hitting on?” Garrett asked smiling weirdly.

“Who have you been hitting on? What are you doing with a maid?” Rachel asked angrily.

“One minute you are nice to her, the next minute you act like a bit-ch. What’s your problem with her?” He asked and left not wanting to listen to his sister’s reply.

“Did you see that? Even my brother hates me because of that thing” she said and left.

Stephanie sm-irked and stared at Rachel as she walked pas-s her.

“There’s gonna be a lot of drama in this palace and I can’t wait to watch them happen” she thought.

The next morning, Irene dropped the girls at school and went back to her room.

She was feeling tired and lazy.

She remembered what Garrett said to her last night.

“Tch, he would make me fall in love with him. That’s crazy”

“Irene! The king would want to see you!” She heard a palace guard’s voice.

“I’ll be there in a sec” she yelled and fell back on the be-d.

“Arghhh, I’m so tired” she murmured and threw herself back up.

“Good morning my king, you s£nt for me” Irene bowed.

The king sat comfortably with the queen at his right hand side.

“Yes Irene. These gifts are for you” he pointed to some gifts that some guards carried.

“Gosh, that’s way too much” she murmured.

“You don’t have to do this my king” Irene said smiling weirdly.

“It’s not from me. They are from the president. He wants you to go on a blind d@t£ with his son”

“What?!” Irene shouted.

“Yeah what?!” The queen also yelled.

“I couldn’t say no. I’m sorry Irene. You can find a way to make him hate you”

Irene smiled, she couldn’t believe the king was telling her that.

“Yes my king. Thank you” sbe bowed and left.

“Take those gifts to her room” the king ordered.

The guards packed the gifts and headed to her room.

“I don’t want the president son for Irene” the queen murmured.

“Me too” he replied.

The queen sh0t him a glare.

“Who do you want for her?”

“Any of the prince she likes, i know they all love her but she doesn’t”

“You noticed that too” the queen said and bur-sted into laughter.

Irene slowly walked towards her room with the guards.

They kept the gifts and left.

“Thank you” she said as they walked away.

“Irene!!” She heard her name.

As she turned she saw Leo with a bag.

“Leo?” She murmured.

He finally appeared at her front.

“Are you going somewhere my prince?” She asked.

“Going somewhere? I’m back!” He replied smiling.

Irene furrowed her eyebrows. She didn’t notice he was out of the palace.

“Did you leave?”

“Oh no, I went for some business with Casper” he replied.

“Ohh, no wonder” she muttered slowly.

No wonder she has been safe from his disturb.

“Fine welcome back” she said smiling.

“Thanks Irene” he said and pu-ll-ed her close to himself. He k!$$£d her forehead and walked away.

“See you later!” He yelled as he walked towards the throne room.

“He chose to greet me first. Instead of his parents. Dimwit” she said and left.

She went to help in the kitchen to prepare lunch.

Stephen c@m£ into the kitchen and requested for water.

“Okay my prince” a maid said and walked towards the fridge.

“Hey!” He yelled at the maid.

She shook in fear and turned.

“Yes my prince” she replied with her shaky voice.

“I want that maid to bring the water to my room” he pointed at Irene who was chopping some vegetables.

Irene raised her head and stared at him.
