Mr Vin came down quietly from the car, and opened the door.

Whitney walked out, followed by Jayden.

“Good night, young master” Mr Vin said.

“Yeah, good night. You’ve worked hard” Jayden smiled.

Mr Vin nodded and left.

Soon, the car zoomed off from sight.

Jayden and Whitney are both wearing casual clothes now. They faced each other silently.

“So,,, What are we now?” Jayden muttered.

“We are what we are” She chuckled.

“He sighed.

“I’m being serious now. I think I love you” His voice softly vibrated almost causing Whitney to stagger.

She bit her li-p and looked at the ground, almost counting the sand she saw there.

“Whitney…” He whispered, holding her 3 last fingers.

“10 days” She whispered.

“10 days?” He asked.

She nodded and looked at him.

“Just give me 10 days. I’ll tell you my answer then” She blinked, talking calmly.

He nodded, vibrantly.
“I’ll wait”

She smiled.

THE NEXT DAY**

“Bye, mum” Liam waved, holding his bag pack with his other hand.

Shannon smiled and waved back to him. Her eyes fell on Noel’s car which was leaving right un-der her nose.

“Fu-ck” She cussed and quickly turned around, closing her face with both hands.

Liam pouted as he confusedly watched his mother from the school bus window.

Shannon quickly ran in and entered the bathroom. She slowly peeled her night dress from her body.

“At last, I’m free…for today. I don’t need to conceal myself cause of him. Saw him leave already so…I’m gonna flaunt my new dresses” She smi-rked.

“Today is also the day for my dental appointment, huh?” She reminded herself with a smile.

Mr Daniels, the head of the economics and finance department smiled warmly as he stared at the eyes facing him on the platform where he stood.

“Hello everyone” He said.

“Hello sir!” They answered.

The smile didn’t leave his face.

“So, now…I’ve an information to give to y’all. Don’t worry, I’ll make it brief” He demonstrated.

Everyone looked at him intently.

“Our summer break is around the corner. In short, It starts tomorrow-

Excited murmurs interrupted him and he quickly raised an arm up.

They kept shut immediately.

Mr Daniels cleared his throat.
“I would have informed you on time. Last week, precisely but it escaped from my mind. My apologies”

“Anyways, our summer break will be different. It’ll be short and fun” He smiled.

Everyone smiled too and talked among themselves.

“You won’t be going home though. You all will be selected and asked to spend the summer break else where”

Everywhere became noisy at once.

“Silence!!!…please”

“Anyways,, I’m gonna be grouping y’all. Then, I’ll give you a particular location to spend your 5 day summer break”

“Sir!” A female student chipped, raising her hand.

“Yes, you?” He asked.

“What if I don’t wanna go to that so called particular location you’ll choose for us? What if I just wanna go home?” She asked.

“Then, I’m sorry but you have to say sorry to your high scores. Marks will be given. Excellent ones for that matter,, and as year finalist, I’m sure you wouldn’t wanna miss this golden opportunity” He grinned.

Everyone nodded, murmuring once more.

“Silence, please…” He said, and it was done.

“The purpose of doing this is to bring y’all together and closer. So, during the last day in WSU,,, there will be hugging, and joy. Instead of strangerhood” He said and everyone laughed.

“Now…I made a list and pasted it outside on the notice board. After cla-ss, do well to check your name, and the location given. I also picked someone to act as the president for each team”

“If you see you are a president, come to my office to collect the profile information of your members and also the key to your summer lounge”

“Wow!!” Everyone cheered, clapping their hands.

Mr Daniels smiled.

“It will be fun, no doubt about that”

AFTER CLa-ss**

“Awwn…Clark! Clark!” Maureen giggled, holding his hand.

They were at the notice board stand.

Natalie was behind them.

“Look, I found your name. We were grouped together! Is this fate?” She blus-hed, looking at him.

“Yes. Its fate” Clark smiled, looking at Natalie’s name which was also in the list. She was also grouped with them.

Natalie let out a loud sigh and finally left.

“I see I’m fated with you both?” Jade crossed her arms against her bre-ast s, coming from behind.

“Hmm?” Maureen looked at it de-eperly.

“Its true. Even Whitney? Whoa, Jayden too…Natalie?? Ugh!! Wait, Who’s John J? He’s our group president” Maureen whispered.

Shannon wore a pink gucci top and a palazzo trousers. She walked gorgeously, swinging her hips and her hand bag which reacted by dangling about.

She went to the counter and smiled at the nurse there. written by sommy pearl f.

“Welcome to Nee Bee’s Dental Clinic. How may I help you, ma’am?” The nurse asked.

Shannon giggled and flaunted her hair.

“Its Shannon” She gave her li-ps a one sided smile.

“I’m not Ma’am. Its Shannon. Don’t tell me I look old to you?” She further said, helping the perplexed nurse.

“Of course, I do un-derstand you. However, It something we just say out of respect”

“Well, not to me. It old fashioned and I hate…old fashioned things. Its Shannon,,, again”

The nurse nodded.

“So, how may I help you, Miss Shannon?”

“I made an appointment with the doctor”

“What’s your full name, ma’am?” The nurse asked, checking her computer.

“Shannon Kennerson”

“Oh, Seen. You’ve an appointment with the doctor about…right now”

Shannon nodded, with a small smile.

“Please, follow me” Another nurse walked to her.

Shannon wore her dark sun gla-sses and followed her. The nurse opened the next door and they both entered.

“Please, sit down and wait for the doctor” She said, kindly.

Shannon nodded and sat on the dental chair. The nurse laid her properly on it. Her back rested confortably on the chair.

“Excuse me” The nurse muttered and walked out.

Few minutes later, the door opened and a dentist walked in. He was wearing his ru-bber hand gloves, with a face mask on his face.

“Please, I need your gla-sses down” He instructed, walking closer to her.

The nurse entered just immediately holding a tray which were required for the needs of his work.

Shannon raised her head slightly a bit and took off her gla-sses. She flaunted her hair, shaking her head, which threw her long hair about.

She ru-bbed her hair down with her palm and faced him.

“Shannon?” He called, almost immediately.

Shannon looked at him, confusedly. She gave out a light chuckle and tou-ched her che-st.

“Sorry, do I know you?” She asked.

He took down his mask and her eyes wide-ned. She gasped loudly and pointed her index finger at him.

“The….the gardener?” She stuttered.

The nurse who heard it, laughed softly.

Noel thew a quick cold glare at her and she quickly composed herself.

He looked bact at Shannon.

“Surprised?” He smiled.

“What…What are you do…doing here? Why are you wearing all this??” She asked.

He chuckled.

“You never listened to me. I’m actually a dentist…not a gardener. Welcome to my world” He spread out his arms.

“How have you been, Shannon?” He asked.

She looked away.

“I didn’t come to talk to you. Attend to me so that I can leave here on time. I don’t have any more excuses to give to my son”

He signed de-eperly.

“Okay then. We will meet and talk later. So, what problem do you have with your tooth?” He asked.

“I get this sharp pain down here” She tou-ched her jaw.

“I can’t eat something cold. It deprives me of many things that I wanna eat. It comes and then, goes” She explained.

Noel wore his face mask back up again, and laid her down. He tou-ched her jaw.

“Ouch” She mo-aned.

He looked into her eyes and she looked back.

“It quite sen-sitive” He whispered.

“Hmm” She nodded.

“Let see how it is, down there. Please, say ah”

Shannon blinked her eyes.

“I should say ah? Gosh. It so embarra-ssing to open my mouth so widely” She thought.

“Can you open your mouth wide for me?” He asked again and the nurse came closer.

He took the little flashlight from her and waited for Shannon.

Shannon swallowed.

“ah” She whispered.

“I can’t see a thing. Wider”

“Hmm…ahh”

Noel let out a frustrated sigh.
“Please, open it very very wide, if you don’t mind. Well, It might hurt but just bear the pain. I need to know the main issue here”

She breathed.

“aaahh” She muttered, girlishly.

Noel took down his face mask and took his hand backwards, to the nurse.

“Please, hand it over” He said.

She handed a device to him. It was more like a plier.

“Wait. What are you gonna do with th-

“Argh!” She gr-unted, as her li-ps to-re open with the pliers. It didn’t hurt her though.

Right now, she looks weird and funny with the device which divided her li-ps, making her mouth so wide.

“I’m sorry but I couldn’t help it. This is much better” He smiled, pointing the flashlight into her mouth.

“You’ve a hole in your wisdom tooth. It has to be removed” He said.

“Will….will it hurt?” She managed to talk with the stuff still between her li-ps.

“Yeah. But anesthetics will be given to you during the surgery. You don’t have to worry, after some drugs, you’ll fully get back on your feet”

“Noel?” She called.

“Hmm?” He looked at her face.

She stared de-eperly into his eyes and he returned it.

“Will I get a discount?” She suddenly asked.
