They all got downstairs.

The king was about to start his announcement.

“Everyone gather around. I want to make an announcement!!”

Everyone kept mute and listen to what the king had to say.

“Tch, that stupid box again” Rachel said.

“What’s in it?” Steph asked.

“Snake” Rachel replied.

“I love snakes” Steph said smiling.

Rachel stared at her and shook her head.

“In this box, there’s a snake. A snake that would tell who the next king is. But the prince have to find the wanted vir-gin. Only if he had sle-pt with her will be the next king”

Everyone started to murmur.

The king open the box and the snake crawled out.

Everyone was scared.

“Don’t worry, it doesn’t bite” he said.

The snake crawled pas-s everyone.

“Hey snakie snakie” Steph stupidly waves at the snake.

It moved his head and crawled away.

“Maybe the snake doesn’t like you” Rachel said laughing secretly.

“Shut it bit-ch” Steph replied angrily.

Irene watched the snake as it crawled round every one.

It was crawling towards her and the queen.

She wanted to walk away but she decided to stand still.

She loved snake but she didn’t want this one to t©uçh her.

She was the only one that could hear her heart beating.

The snake crawled on the Queen’s hand and raised the head.

Everyone was waiting to see what would happen.

The snake brou-ght his ton-gue.

As it quic-kly moved his head re-ady to strike.

Irene caught the snake by the head.

She returned the snake to the box and closed it.

Everyone was shocked.

They sighed.

“But the snake doesn’t bite” the king said slowly.

Irene smiled at the king.

“Mom”

“Mom”

Irene turned and saw the queen shaking.

The prince ran to the queen and caught her before she fall.

They took her to the room and called the doctor.

Irene was panicking.

The queen was unconscious alre-ady.

“What happened?” Garrett asked.

“I’ll go call off the p@rty now” Tony said and headed towards the door.

“No, don’t. Just tell them that the queen is fine. She is having some rest. And you all should go so they would believe the lie” the king said.

They all stared at their mother before leaving.

Irene stood up and wanted go.

“Except you Irene. Stay here with her. I’ll leave” the king said and left.

“My queen” Irene tapped her again if she would wake.

But she didn’t respond.

She placed her hand on her forehead to check if she was running temperature.

As Irene lift her hand, she felt something we-t on the Queen’s face.

“What’s this?” Irene asked herself.

She quic-kly s£nt for the king.

Few minutes later, the king walked into the room.

“Has she woken up?”

“No my queen, I found this on her face” he showed the king.

It was a little bit sticky.

“Oh my, the rumor was true” the king whispered.

Irene was staring at him.

“What’s true? My king”

“The venom of the snake…. The snake didn’t want to bite her. It wanted to cure her” the king said.

Irene eyes wi-de-ned.

Even if she didn’t un-derstand what he was saying. She was happy that the king would be be to normal soon.

The king used his f!nger to take small venom from her face and put it in her mouth.

Irene squee-zed her face.

“Ewww, there are a lot of crazy tradition around here”

She thought.

She thought as the queen has taken the venom, she could transform to snake woman like she watched in movies.

“Come on wake up” the king said slowly as he held her hand.

Suddenly, the queen eyes sh0t wi-de open.

She moved her head and saw the king and Irene staring at her.

“She moved her head!!!”

“My queen can you hear me?” Irene asked.

“Yes”

“Woahhh” they cheered.

Irene has never seen the king happy like that before.

“Thank goodness. You both should come down to the p@rty in a grand style. I’ll go prepare everything” Irene said and walked out of the room.

She went to the pianists to pl@ya ro-mantic song.

She went upstairs and made sure the queen was looking beautiful.

She helped her with her hair.

“I’m happy that you are back my queen”

“Oh Irene, I miss talking to you more. How’s everything?” The queen asked.

“That can wait to next time. Now, you have to go downstairs and dance with the king”

The queen said and stood up.

She walked out of the room with the king.

Irene was the happiest of all.

Tony c@m£ in with the doctor.

“The doctor is…”

“Where are they?” He asked.

“You would want to see it for yourself” Irene replied.

Tony didn’t un-derstand what she was saying but the smile on her face could show that it was good news.

Irene walked the doctor throu-gh that backdoor where he c@m£.

Everyone was shocked to see the queen walking down the stairs.

The prince were very shocked.

Rachel was blinking repeatedly when she saw her mother.

“Is that mom?” Casper asked.

“No way…” Fredrick replied.

They were all happy to see their mother.

The king danced with the queen.

“She is back to normal. What really happened?”

“The queen is so beautiful”

“I can’t believe the queen is back to her feet”

Rachel was tired of listening to their murmurs.

She left and walked towards her room.
