PROLOGUE

She almost had a perfect life. Well, almost.

Abigail Inocencio works as a doctor at Santos hospital for over four years.

She has always wanted to be a doctor since childhood, it was the only thing she admired her mother for – her mother was also a doctor who died when Abigail was only seventeen years old.

Being a doctor was a great thing but having a detective as a best friend was a whole different story.

Emma has been working as a detective for over four years and she loves her job so much. However, there is a particular serial case that has been taking a toll on the young detective.

A murderer has been killing patients in Santos hospital for reasons best known to him. She has been trying to catch the bastard for the past two years but no matter how ha-rd she tries, she couldn’t.

Whoever the murderer is, he is smart, cunning, calculative, and unpredictable. He knows when, how, and where to operate. It has really been difficult for Emma but she is not ready to give up just yet.

Somehow Abigail got involved in the serial killing case when a favorite patient of hers was murdered in the hospital. She decided to help her detective friend sort out the case as she is determined to justify the death of the poor innocent soul.

In the line of solving the case, she realized that the patient is not the first case happening in the hospital. There is a murderer amongst her colleagues and she is willing to fish out the person and make them pay for their crimes.

Doctors and nurses are required to save lives but what happens when someone in the line of profession starts taking patients’ lives instead?

Who is the killer?

No one is to be trusted as everyone is a suspect.
