Whitney gave a bashful smile.

Jayden stayed close to her and showed her, his opened inviting arm.

Her hand hesistated before entering throu-ghhis arm and they both walked out. Mr Vin ran after them.

He opened the door of the Royce rolls and they both entered. He closed it and went to the front seat, then drove away.

Desmond was at the back staring. He was standing by the road side with a shopping bag in his hand.

“My friend is pretty” He muttered, and a sad smile ran across his li-p.

“Young master” The maids and servants all greeted as soon as Jayden entered the big mansion.

It was one of his father greatest mansions by the way.

“Gosh. I told them to stop calling me that” He soliloquized.

The head maid ushered them to the room which they would have their grand dinner.

“Where’s my father?” He asked the head maid as Whitney entered.

“He said he would be back soon. I think he’s not yet back from the meeting” She replied.

“Hmm…Alright then” He said, and she bowed before leaving.

“Damn! Look at how all this food! Is this a dinner or a feast?” Whitney asked, with wide-ned eyes.

The table was a very long one and different varities of dishes surrounded the whole table.

At the middle was a huge stainless which was covered with its lid.

“I’m already salivating” Whitney said, and gulped hard.

“Let’s start eating. I’m hungry” She eyed the bottles of beer and wine around.

“You’d better hold that appetite of yours. Let’s wait for my dad” Jayden shaked his head.

Whitney pouted and walked to him.

“Look, It better you kill me than to ask me to wait for Mr Ricardo here, cause I can’t…What if I fall into temptation and do the unthinkable” She said, lic-king her li-ps.

Jayden let out a loud sigh and got on his feet. He held her hand and she looked at him.

“Let’s go. He’ll be here within an hour”.

“Okay then. But wait, were are we going to?” She asked.

“Let go to the backyard” He smiled, and led her out.

“Wow!!” Whitney gushed, and opened the gla-ss door which led to the backyard.

There was a big pool there.

“Beautiful” She complimented, looking at the clear blue waters.

“I use to come here whenever I’m bored” He smiled and unfolded 2 beach chairs.

He sat down on one and laid comfortably.

“Sit” He beckoned.

She nodded and sat on the other, taking her gown a bit higher from her ankle.

Jayden inhaled de-eperly and looked at the sky. written by sommy pearl f.

“Look. A star” He muttered.

She looked up.

“Its quite early for a star. This is just 6:30”

“I don’t think so” He said.

“The star sparkles so beautifully, don’t you think?” He whispered, looking at her face which was looking at the sky.

The glitters which was sprayed on her hair, managed to climb down and it smeared her face which sparkled around it.

“Yes, Its sparkles so beautifully” She giggled, though she didn’t see a single star in the sky.

Jayden smiled, and held his che-st, which was thumping fas-ter than usual.

Something growled and he wide-ned his eyes.

“What…What was that? Did you hear that?” He asked, stuttering.

She wide-ned her eyes and faced him.

“No. I…I didn’t hear anything” She giggled, awkwardly.

“Oh. Was it just my ears though?” He thought, wiping his inner ears.

Another growling sound came again and this time, louder and scarier than before.

“What’s that!!” Jayden jumped and ran to Whitney’s chair.

He sat close to her and hug-ged her, closing his eyes ti-ghtly.

“Hey…” Whitney mumbled, her throat gulping down, each second.

“Its so scary. What’s in the name is that? You’re quite fearless, Whitney” He cooed, and slowly opened his eyes.

He met Whitney staring at him.

He briefly shut his eyes and they opened again to see Whitney.

She was really pretty despite the darkness that was silently crawling in.

Though, the stand lamps were bright enough to see such beauty.

They didn’t know if it was just them, but their eyes couldn’t get away from each other.

Their hearts raced beautifully. If one heart jumped, the other would stop, and vice versa, and it continued that way.

“Why do you keep making my heart beat so fast? It so unnecessary” He whispered, still looking into her eyes.

Even though her heart was beating too, she wished she un-derstand what he meant.

Her eyes rushed in blinks as she saw his face leaning closer to hers.

His arm was around her wai-st, and his other hand, held the chair hand rest firmly.

He sided his ne-ck so as to reach her li-ps in a better position.

Whitney quickly shut her eyes very ti-ghtly.

“Not again. Let’s not kis-s, please” She thought.

Grwwwwww!! The sound exploded again and Jayden jumped once more.

“F****ckkk!!!” He exclaimed, shaking.

Whitney flew her eyes open and Jayden looked down at her, and tou-ched his heart which palpitated strongly.

“Wait,,, Was that you?” He raised his brow.

Whitney took her eyes away, quickly.

Jayden sighed and looked at her stomach.

“Are you hungry?” He asked.

She looked at him with a puppyish face and nodded.

He gave a soft chuckle and stretched his hand towards her.

“C’mon. Let’s go eat. I guess we’ve waited enough already”

She smiled and accepted his hand. He gently brou-ght her up and they looked at each other, smiling.

“After you…” He opened the door.

Grwwwwww The sound came with a roar, and Jayden ran out.

“Huh? Jayden? Wait for me!” She screamed and followed him.

Jayden kept running, his hand holding his che-st.

“I might get an heart attack at this rate. What kind of stomach growls like that? Its so scary. Whitney and her stomach just keeps making my little heart beat fast and ha-rd for no reason, exactly” He muttered, pa-nting.
