Liam’s POV

On our way home after leaving the hospital, Dad’s call came in. What does he wants now?

“Good evening Dad” I said grumpily

“Is that how you talk to your Dad? Anyway, evening. How are you doing?”

“I’m fine Dad. What of Mom?”

“If you really wanted to know how she’s doing, you would have paid us a visit or at least called”

“I’m sorry Dad, I’ve been busy”

“Yeah, whatever! I want you to come over tomorrow after school”

“What?!! Dad I told you I’m busy, I don’t think I can make it tomorrow”

“You know what happens when you disobey me. Come here after school tomorrow. Bye!” he concluded and hung up

I already knew something was up when he called. That old man always gets on my nerves.

“What is it this time?” Jayden asked

“What else? He asked me to come home tomorrow and I have a feeling it won’t be good

“You can’t be so sure. Maybe he wants to give you a new car”

“I know my Dad like the back of my palm and I know something is wrong somewhere”

“Alright, if you say so”

Jayden gave up while I continued battling with my thoughts

Min Ju’s POV

Dad called that he will be arriving here in America tomorrow.

I’m really glad I will be seeing my Dad again, I’ve missed him so much.

He said we will be going to Liam’s parents house to finalize the deal and we will be getting engaged immediately after highschool.

I really don’t want to be tied to a guy after highschool. I mean, I will still go to college and meet a lot of handsome guys but I know Dad, he won’t take no for an answer and that’s the only thing I dislike about him.

Let me forget about the bad things and look at the bright side. My Dad will be coming tomorrow and I’m so happy.

Aubrey’s POV

I’m currently preparing for the contest I’m having today but I’m preparing inside my private jet.

The contest is taking place in Korea today and I have to be there early, that’s why I’m dressing up in the jet.

Samantha wanted to go with me but I refused. I don’t want her to get into trouble because of me.

Even though I have a sister, Samantha is like a sister to me and I can’t afford to loose her.

We arrived at Korea after some hours and I wore my face mask as usual before alighting from the plane.

I went into the hall where the contest will take place and sat quietly on the seat prepared for me before we start the contest.

I felt eyes on me and I didn’t want to look up at first but when it was getting too much, I decided to just glance at the person.

I raised my head and discovered it was one of the K-Pop idols. His identity is hidden like mine and I only know him by his stage name “Jae In”.

I’m going to run a background check on him when I get home, but why is he staring at me?

He’s probably curious to know the face behind the mask but that won’t be possible.

I’m putting on up to about five masks so if anyone is thinking about removing this mask, he/she won’t be able to see anything.

The contest started twenty minutes later and we were done in six hours.

This particular contest is so….. I don’t even know. The winner will be declared soon and then I can return to America.

“The winner for the female soloist competition is Byeol while the winner for the male soloist is Jae In”

They continued with the announcement but I wasn’t listening anymore. So I won the contest? Wow! That’s great.

They gave a prize to me and rounded off the contest before left.

Min Seok’s POV

During the contest today, I just kept staring at Byeol hoping to catch a glimpse of her face but it was impossible.

She really hides her identity well.

After the contest, I got into my jet and drove off. I’m sure I’m going to get dark circles tomorrow morning. I just hope no one suspects me.

Next Day

I woke up feeling really tired from yesterday’s contest. Thank goodness today is Friday, at least I will be able to rest on Saturday.

I got to school not to early but I wasn’t late either.

The first person I saw was Aubrey. The way she was walking shows she’s really tired but I couldn’t un-derstand her facial expression.

Her face didn’t show any sign of tiredness and it’s kind of strange.

“Why do you care?” my subconscious mocked

I will just go to cla-ss. Besides, I’m really tired myself.

Khloe’s POV

I noticed the way Aubrey was walking like she was really tired. What could possibly be wrong with her?

“Hey Aubrey, good morning” I greeted when I got to her

“Morning Khloe” she answered lowly

“Is something wrong Aubrey?”

“No, not really. I’m just tired I guess”

“Ohh.. but what made you tired?”

“Errm… I helped my Mom with some things last night and it was really late before we finished”

“Okay but your eyes don’t look like they lack sleep. I mean, I can’t find any dark circle”

“I washed my face properly before coming to school”

“Okay, let’s go for devotion”

Liam’s POV

I ba-rely concentrated on what the teachers were saying. My entire thought was on why Dad asked me to come over.

The last time he called me like this was when the principal reported me to him about me sleeping around and since then, I’ve been really careful.

“Man, you’re not listening” Jayden whispered to me and I snapped out of my thoughts but few seconds later, I was lost in my thoughts again.

After school

I got into my car with Jayden and together we went home.

Both of us actually live together because of the nature of our parents job. Daniel would have joined us too but his parents don’t want him out of sight.

When we got home, I freshened up and changed my clothes before driving to Dad’s mansion.

I got there about twenty minutes later and went in. Dad was reading a magazine when I got there.

“Good afternoon Dad” I greeted bowing a little

“Afternoon son. How was school?”

“It was fine Dad. Where is Mom?”

“She’s at the mall”

“Ohh .. ” I mouthed

Well, Mom actually owns two big malls here in America and about two or three more outside the country.

“So.. I sent for you because you will be meeting important people today” Dad finally said after some minutes of silence.

“I did a business with someone from South Korea and we both agreed to get you and his daughter married as soon as possible so as to merge our companies.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier. The man will be here with his daughter any moment from now. They are Koreans so I’m sure you will like his daughter” he said making me scoff

“What are you talking about Dad? You’re joking right?”

“Of course not. It’s just to help strengthen our company and I’m really glad about it.

Your future will be secured and you will be married to a beautiful lady”

“No Dad. You can’t tell me who to get married to. We’re talking about marriage here and I have to marry someone I love, not just someone you pick for me”

“This discussion is over. You are getting married to Kim Min Ju and that’s final”

I was still wondering about the Min Ju he was talking about when I saw the new transfer student, Kim Min Ju.

Okay, what is going on?
