First kiss with a bad boy - S01 E50

Nicholas couldn’t do a thing but to let her go. Though it hurts to watch her leave, he has no choice but to. No one will one to date a murderer like him.

He thought as he wipe off the tear that slid down his cheek. It hurts to say goodbye to Mirabel but he has to.

He was trying to compose himself when someone arms slid around his waist, holding him tight.

“You might be a murderer like you’ve said but I love you. I love you no matter what you are” Mirabel said even as she lay her cheek on his back.

Nicholas stood reliving her hold on him for a while and then he turn to her.

“Are you sure? You don’t mind spending the rest of your life with a murderer?” He asked even as the tears he tried to hold back kept pouring down his cheek.

“It was a mistake and if you had a choice that night, you would never have gotten into your car. Though you didn’t pay for it, you’ve suffered as much” she said wiping off the tear that slid down his cheek.

Slowly he rest his forehead on hers while he wrap his arms around her.

“I love you” Nicholas muttered before pulling her into a tight hug.

“Thank you for accepting me ” he whispered into her ear even as he tightened his hold around her.

“What’s there to thank me for when you’ve stole my heart from the beginning, you crazy foodie” she said lightly which got him laughing even as he pulled back to stare at her.

“Talking about food? You look slim, haven’t you been eating?” She asked.

“How can I? When I couldn’t stop thinking about you” he said pushing back a strand of her hair.

“Then we should fill you up, you need to eat ” she said wanting to leave but he pulled her back into his arms.

“I would rather eat you ” he confess having a nau-ghty smile on his face and before she could stop him, he kis-sed her.

CAFETERIA

“What’s taking Mirabel long?” Joanna muttered as she went throu-ghher phone.

She felt a bit secure if her friends were here with her though Justin and his friends have been nothing but kind to her.

“Do we bore you?” Justin voice beside her got her starring at him.

“Of course not, am just wondering why Mirabel haven’t showed up” she said.

“She must have probably stop by to talk to some friends, she will be here soon so stop thinking and enjoy your meal” He said with a sweet smile on his face.

She nodded slowly and still thinking about Mirabel, she took a mouthful of ice cream which left a stain on her li-ps.

“Cute” Justin said suddenly which got him starring at her.

“Ugh!”

“You look cute with that ice cream on your li-ps” He said wanting to wipe it off for her.

His hand was about to touch her li-ps when it was suddenly siezed.

Justin and Joanna both look up only to see Francis standing over them, glaring down at Justin with anger.

“I think you’ve done enough for a day” Francis said as he let go of Justin hand before pulling Joanna out of her seat.

“Let’s go” he said to the startled Joanna but before he could walk off with her, Justin held her other hand.

“You can’t leave with her?” Justin said.

“Why?”

“It must be a trait of guys in your school to take a girl away from our table but it isn’t ours” Justin replied.

“Really? Then will doing this show you that I have a right to take her away” Francis said even as he bent towards her and li-ck off the ice cream on her li-ps.

“Need any more proof?” Francis asked claiming Joanna as his girlfriend in front of everyone and not waiting to hear his reply, he pulled her out of the cafeteria.

They had gotten to the field which had less people there when he stop, letting go of her hand.

“I know you are angry at me and I deserve it but must you really let him touch you” Francis asked.

“He was only trying to wipe off the ice cream on my…..”

“The hell he does! That guy wanted to do a whole lot more to you and you….you seem willing” he said angrily.

“This is it, this is why have kept my distance from you” she said scoffing at him.

“You will never learn to trust me right?” She added looking hurt.

“Joanna I….”

“Save it! He might have wanted to do more like you’ve said but do you think that I will let him do it? Why can’t you trust me uh? Or is it a bad thing to have your trust?” She asked pushing at his chest.

“I do trust you, it’s him that I don’t…..”

“Save me the excuses Francis, have had enough for a day” she said walking past him and when he tried to hold her back, she quickly move away from him.

“You are annoying” she added before walking off leaving Francis starring after her.

Joanna got to her tent still feeling hurt by what Francis said when she notice Alice on her bed.

“Is some thing wrong?” Joanna asked as she went to seat on Alice bed.

“I shared another kis-s with Pierce ” Alice muttered.

“What! How did that happen? I thought you were doing your best in avoiding him” Joanna asked and Alice briefed her on how things happen.

“If I have my third kis-s with him then there’s no finding my Prince charming” Alice said looking worried.

“Let’s forget about the third kis-s for now and think about the effect of the second kis-s on Pierce” Joanna said.

“I don’t care, what am more worried about now is that there’s a slim chance of me finding my Prince charming” Alice said.

“What about trying Pierce out, he might just be the prince charming you are looking for” Joanna suggested.

“No! Pierce isn’t the guy I want” Alice replied fiercely while Joanna stared at her intently.

“Tell me, what exactly do you think of Pierce?” Joanna asked.

“I hate him” she said.

“But hate do changes to love” Joanna replied.

“That will never happen! Pierce dislikes me and I hate him and so there’s no way he can be the guy I want to spend the rest of my life with” Alice stated

“There’s no harm in trying him out” Joanna said.

“The guy I will love will love me back and he won’t think of me as easy and Pierce doesn’t fit that role, so let’s end this discussion here” she said looking a bit sad before getting off the bed.

“Where are you going?” Joanna asked.

“There’s a party being held by the other school and am going on a man hunt” Alice said her earlier sadness thrown out of the window.

“You should come too, it’s gonna be fun” Alice said arranging her hair in front of the mirror.

“I will pa-ss”

“Okay then. See you later and wish me luck, I might find my Prince charming at the party tonight “Alice said waving her off even as she left Joanna thinking about her own problem.

∆ NEXT DAY~ DAY OF TOURNAMENT ∆

Francis sat in the changing room dressed in his basketball jersey while he kept thinking about Joanna.

He had acted irrationally giving Joanna more reason to be angry with him and he had only done that because he was jealous.

Letting out a slow sigh, he put on the black head band which clung perfectly to his hair giving him a se-xy look.

Moving towards the locker, he put his phone in it and was about to leave when Justin walk into the room also dressed in his basketball attire.

“Hello” Justin greeted but Francis ignored him and was almost at the door when Justin next words stopped him.

“What are you to Joanna?” He asked.

“Why do you ask?” Francis asked in return.

“Cause of your action yesterday, you are her boyfriend right?” Justin surmised himself.

“Am glad your brain figured that out and so its best that that brain of yours finds a way to stay away from her cause I don’t want you close to my girl ” Francis said warning him off.

“Is that a threat?”

“Take it whichever way you want but do stay away from her” Francis replied.

“Fine then, I will do as you say for now until we end the match today” Justin said.

“I will stay away from Joanna but if we end up winning, I will do my utmost best in staying In Joanna’s life and so I will advise you to do well in the match today cause I certainly won’t lose to you guys” Justin added before leaving the changing room.
