“Lies! These…These are all pure fat lies!” John screamed, ending the cheers and loud murmurs from the crowd.

Some were happy Jayden decided to settle down and change his lifestyle.

“Jayden? Tell them it’s a lie!” John screamed.

Jayden disengaged from Whitney’s li-ps and she moved away from him, clearing her throat loudly.

“C’mon, John. Didn’t you see the kis-s? Was that a lie too?” Jayden raised a brow, slyly.

John climbed to the stage and came close to Jayden.

“What are you two planning?” He queried, in rage.

“What do you mean? Anyways, I guess you lost. Just forget about it. I won the bet already. Whitney? She is mine” Jayden whispered back, giving a mischievous look.

“We’ll see about that” John scoffed.

John turned his head to Whitney and she quickly took her eyes away.

“You dating Jayden now, huh?” John asked.

There was a de-eper silence for a while.

“Yeah” She finally answered.

“Since when?” John asked.

“Hmm…2 days ago?”

“Stop interrogating her” Jayden warned.

“I ain’t talking to you, niggar!” John barked. He quickly scanned his eyes amongst the crowd and smiled when his eyes came in contact with Jade.

“Jade? Is it true? Whitney has been dating Jayden for 2 days now?” He asked.

Jade looked at Whitney.

“Yes. She told me” Jade lied, smartly.

“Oh wow” John clapped.
“I’m enjoying this sitcom already. Wow” He laughed, sarcastically.

“Whitney dear?” John looked at her.

Whitney took her eyes to him.

“So,,, What’s up? Have you both Fu-cked yet?” John asked.

There was giggles and another round of murmurs.

“What?” Whitney muttered.

“You MF!” Jayden screamed and grabbed his collar.

John smi-rked at him.

“Aren’t we brothers anymore? How dare you try to hit your brother?” John asked, lowly.

Jayden swallowed and took his hand down.

“Good” John tapped his shoulder.

Everyone was still watching.

“Whitney? Let’s say you haven’t had se-x with him…yet. But I’m sure you’ve seen Jayden’s body. You’re his girlfriend so?”

“Yes. It’s normal. I’ve only seen his che-st though” Whitney answered.

“Then…I’m sure you know what on his body?” John glared at her.

Whitney blinked.

“Excuse me?”

“What’s on Jayden’s body?” He asked.

Whitney swallowed and looked at everyone there, thinking she could find the answer or something.

“John? What are you doing??” Jayden asked.

“DON’T TALK! Everybody is dying to hear her! So…sshhh!” John warned.

Jade quickly maintained eye contact with her. Whitney noticed and looked back at her.

“A scar…Scar” Jade said, discreetly.

Whitney raised both brows when she got it. She looked at John.

Jayden looked at her surprised.

“So,,, Where’s the scar located?” He asked, still not giving up.

“Huh?” Whitney gulped.

“Where’s his scar located?” He asked again, curtly.

Whitney gave a nervous act and looked at Jade like she would provide the next answer like she did before.

Jade brushed her shoulder side with her palm, and that was the perfect verbal language for Whitney to get what she meant.

Whitney quickly faced John.

“Its…on his shoulder”

Jayden quickly looked at her. He waa flustered and baffled to hear she got the questions right.

“Any more questions, John? If not…I’m gonna have to leave. Whitney?” He held her hand.

Whitney looked at him and faked a smile.

“Let get out of here” He said.

She nodded and they walked out.

“Sorry about that. Let the party continue!” John said, aloud and the DJ played the music again.

Whitney snapped her hand off Jayden, immediately they got out.

Jayden walked closer to her.
“Why did you do that, in there?” He asked.

“See, I’ve my reasons, okay?” She looked away.

“You might not know this but…you saved my life. Thanks” He said.

She only sighed.

“Wait,,, Why did you kis-s me?”

“To prove John wrong, obviously” He replied.

“That was too much. I don’t like it” She said.

“Then, why did you kis-s me back?” He asked.

Her nervous eyes traveled around.

“Well, It cause… I couldn’t let you kis-s all alone. You started it so I needed to end it. Besides, People were watching us” She replied.

Jayden smiled.

“Jayden?”

“Hmm…Hmm?”

“Do you…wanna date me for now?”

“Sure!” He nodded.

“At least, to get John suspicion off my tail, so sure” He added.

“Wait? You wanna date me too? Cause I’m surprised you’re asking me to date you. Thought you loathed me”

“You have your true reason for wanting to date me right?” She asked.

“Well, yeah” He scratched his head.

“A secret, perhaps?” She asked.

“Uhmm…Sort…Sort of” He stammered.

“I also have a secret reason of wanting to date you. Jayden? Let’s fake date”

He wide-ned his eyes.

“You mean…you want us to be a fake couple?”

“Yeah A contract relationship. When we are less busy, Let’s meet up and make a small contact base on our fake relationship”

“Sure” Jayden nodded.

“By the way? How did you know about my scar and its location?” He asked.

“Oh. Thanks to Jade. She leaked it” She smiled.

“How did she- Anyways, She must have seen my body during the day at the beach” Jayden said.

“Thanks to her, I was able to get off John’s way”

“Swears” He agreed.

Meanwhile, someone was peeking at them. The unknown person brou-ght out its phone and played the recording.

“You mean…you want us to be a fake couple?”

“Yeah A contract relationship. When we are less busy, Let’s meet up and make a small contact base on our fake relationship”

With that, the unknown person left.

Natalie climbed down from the stage slowly. Right now, she isn’t herself. She kept staggering as she walked.

Clark ran to her, seeing she might fall any moment from then.

“Natalie?” He muttered, holding her.

She faced him. Her eyes were soaked with abundant tears. She sniffed, and pushed him off.

“Its your fault!” She screamed.

“Natalie..”

“I hate you!” She cried out and left.

“Wait…” Clark tried running to her but Maureen blocked his way.

“Maureen?” He muttered.

She flashed him a smile.

“You wanna have a drink with me?”

He sighed.

“Actually, I-

Jayden and Whitney walked back into the party holding hands

“Okay. I guess we’ll part here” He said.

“Yeah. I’m gonna meet up with Jade” Whitney pointed at Jade who was dancing with a gla-ss of liquor in her hand.

Jayden nodded and walked to some guys who were busy chatting, drinking and laughing

“Oh…Look at the lover boy” They hailed, chuckling.

“Come off it” Jayden giggled and sat amongst them.

He took a gla-ss of liquor and looked around the grand party.

“Where’s Clark by the way?”

“Desmond too?” Jayden asked, slowly sipping from his gla-ss.

“Clark followed some girl to drink and Desmond…I think I saw him going outside then”

Jayden nodded and finished the gla-ss contents immediately. He turned to see Jade and Whitney dancing and smiling.

Jayden looked at a happy Whitney and he never discovered he was actually smiling.
