Prince Casper watched her leave. He placed his hand on his chin, staring at Irene.

“I’m surely gonna hit on her, soon. Even Josie won’t know about it” Casper said and left the kitchen.

Irene returned to the kitchen shortly and made warn milk for Zoe and princess Wren.

She opened the door holding a tray in one hand.

“Hey ladies, care for a glas-s of milk” irene asked.

Zoe and Wren took a glas-s each and continued pla-ying with their toys.

“Seems I’m not nee-ded here” Irene said and left the room for the girls.

As she walked to the hall room.

The king called for her attention.

Irene was shocked and scared. She hasn’t spoken to the king before.

Irene walked towards him. The queen was sitting beside him.

Irene bowed in respect.

“Greetings your royal highnesses”.

“You may rise..” the king commanded.

“So, at last. I’ve met my son’s saviour. Thank you for your as-sistance. Even the queen trust you so much. And I hope you will not disappoint us”

“I won’t your highness..” Irene replied.

Prince Garrett walked into the throne room.

“Greetings father, greetings mother” prince Garrett greeted.

“Greetings my son”

“Welcome Garrett, how may we help you?”

“I’m here to see mother. Mom..what about the things I discussed with you?” Garrett asked.

“Ohhh, that’s true. I almost forgot. Irene dear, prince Garrett will as-sist you and prince leo with the decorations” Queen Anne said.

Irene eyes sh0t opened. Two prince!

That was her thoughts.

“Of course you majesty, thank you for your kind gesture. Zoe is here and she is having fun with the young princess” Irene added before she bowed.

“Really, I nee-d to check on them” the queen said and left.

Then the king dismissed them.

When Irene got to the door, she st©pped prince Garrett from going.

“Why do you want to work with us?” Irene asked.

“What? Am I spoiling any fun that is happening between two of you?” Prince Garrett asked.

“What are you talking about?” Irene asked folding her arms.

“Ohhh, you should know what I’m talking about. You don’t want to to join in the preparation for the ball so that I won’t spoil the ‘thing’ that is going on between you and Leo”

“I heard my name…” Prince Leo walked into the scene.

“What’s going on Irene?” Leo asked when no one answered him.

“Your brother here will be joining us in the preparations for the ball. Isn’t that great? I’m outta here” Irene said and left.

“I see you let that thing get into your head..” prince leo said sarcastically.

“Ohh,I’m glad you noticed that. If you think you can t©uçh Irene because she is your so called p@rtner, I’ll make her my p@rtner also” prince Garrett spat.

“Oh really, I’ll make her my life p@rtner. I don’t care being the future king” prince leo replied.

“Tch, you wish…first, I’m gonna be the future king then I’ll marry Irene not you” prince Garrett boasted.

“Ohh, you have the marry the wanted v!rg!nonce you become king. So st©p talking trash and leave Irene to me” Leo sm-irked.

“I can marry both!!!” Garrett yelled and left.

Irene went to Fredrick’s room and saw him staring at a ph0to.

“Is that your mother?” Irene asked as she walked towards him.

“No, shee waas my lovee whiilee inm schoool..” Fredrick kept the ph0to.

“Do you intend on going back to school when you are better?” Irene asked as she sat beside him.

“And get mmy heaerrt brokeen twice? Noo! Imm not goinmg baccck to scchooll” Fredrick replied.

“What did she leave then?” Irene asked.

“After shhee find ouutt I was-s incuurrablle. She leefft me” Fredrick stammered.

“At least, you have your family with you here. They will never leave you” Irene cheered him up.

“Annd youuu…youu woontt leeavve me right?”

“Sure I won’t, now get some rest okay? It’s getting late alre-ady” Irene said and left the room.

She checked on the girls, they were also slee-ping. She switched off the light and went to her own room.

She remembered she didn’t lock the door. She didn’t want what happened to happen again.

After she had her bath, she wore her pyjamas and sat on the be-d glancing throu-gh her phone.

Then she was hearing some noise outside her door.

She decided to check it out.

“You should leave…I’m here to talk business not love..”

“Love? Tch…we have business to discuss too. So just go and pl@ywith your pillow till you doze off”

“Oh yeah, are you saying I’m a child?”

“Oh yes you are”

“Take that back..”

” No, I won’t. What would you to..”

Suddenly, the door flung opened.

Irene squee-zed her face when she saw the cat and dog in front of her door.

“What do you want prince Leo and prince Garrett?” Irene asked.
