The WhatsApp message was from a guy named ‘Cousin Des’ and it read; Where’s my dumb bell! Don’t tell me, you stole it again!!

“Is that from Cousin Des? He wants his Fu-cking dumb bell back, huh?” Jade rolled her eyes and sat down.

“Oh yes. Here. Sorry for prying”

“Nah. Its fine”

“Thanks for the drink. Who’s he though? Your cousin?”

“Yup. Same level and major. His name is Desmond”

Whitney only nodded as she sipped calmly fron the straw.

Jade looked at her phone and her eyes nearly popped out.

“What’s it?” Whitney asked, worriedly noticing her sudden change of expression.

Jade gasped and quickly stood up.

“Stand up and hide!! Hurry!!”

“What? Why??” Whitney rushed her words.

“My cousin is coming; Come! Hide here!” Jade opened her cabinet and pushed Whitney in.

“Wait a minute” Jade frowned.
“What are we doing??” She questioned no one in particular.

“I…don’t un-derstand” Whitney p@n-ted.

“It’s not like we did anything wrong. You’re my new roommate now so…who cares? Hey…babe, come out” Jade said, with a beckon.

Whitney sighed and left.

Just then, the door opened.

“You!!! Jade!!!” A figure screamed and pointed at her from the door.

Whitney furrowed her eyes and bent her brows to get a better and clearer vision of the figure and that was when, she saw the most handsome boy everrrrr!!

Like damn!!

“He’s too fine!” She gushed, inwardly with a bright smile.

“Why does Jade have handsome boys around her? First, Its her boyfriend on her WhatsApp wallpaper? Now,,, Its her out-of-the-comic handsome cousin?? Damn!!! I’m so staying in WSU!! At least,,, I’ll be able to feed my eyes with handsome and hot guys even though I don’t do dates and love” She smiled to herself.

She kept on smiling and carried her face up but her wide smile faded off instantly when she saw Desmond looking at her.

“Who…are…you?” He whispered.

Whitney swallowed ha-rd and blinked her eyes.

“I’m Whitney. Whitney Kennerson. Jade’s new roommate” She answered, softly.

Desmond stretched his hand towards her.

“Nice to meet you, Whitney. I’m Desmond Hawkins” He introduced.

She slowly stretched her hand and tou-ched his masculine fresh palm with her tiny and soft palm.

Desmond grabbed it and Whitney quickly looked at her.

He smiled widely and she could only stare.

“She’s pretty” Desmond thought.

“Hmm…Hmmm” Jade broke the atmosphere with a cough.

Whitney quickly took her hand down and looked at Jade.

“What are you waiting for? Let start packing! Don’t forget your payment” Jade winked.

“I know right” Whitney smiled.

“I will help!” Desmond raised his arm.

“Where are we gonna pack the things from?” He added, and quietly took his hand down.

“Oh no! You don’t! I heard from Clark that you were quite sick so just rest and take your medication. Take your dumbbell too, you lamentator” Jade retorted.

“There’s no such word as lamentator. It doesn’t exist in the dictionary” Desmond smi-rked and walked away.

“Whatever” Jade muttered with an eye roll.

“Hey you!” Desmond stopped and turned back.

Whitney glanced at Jade and looked back at him.

“Me?”

“Yes. You. See you later” He winked and finally left the scene.

“Don’t pay attention to him. Let’s go” Jade grabbed her wrist.

They finally went out and met Jayden on his way.

“Hey. Jade?” He called.

Jade looked up.

“Oh…Jayden” She whispered.

“Where’s your cousin? I’ve been searching for him?”

“I saw met with him. He just went to his room though. You should meet him there. Besides, you both are roommates” She replied.

“Yeah…right” He nodded.

Meanwhile, From behind, Whitney was looking at Jayden.

“Whoa. Yes. He’s the one. The guy Jade used as her WhatsApp wall paper. Her boyfriend?” She thought.

Jayden paused and studied Whitney front head to toe.

“Who’s she?” He asked.

“Oh…Meet my new roommate, Whitney. Whitney,,, meet…well…my cousin’s best friend and roommate, Jayden” Jade smiled.

“You shouldn’t have included boyfriend in the introduction. Shy, huh?” Whitney smiled.

“Huh? No. He’s not my boy-

“Hey…Nice bo-obs by the way” Jayden smi-rked and walked away.

“What?? Excuse me?” She snapped but he had already walked past her with his headphones on him.

“Fu-ck! Who does he think he is!!” Whitney frowned and briefly sque-ezed her orange sized bo-obs.

Jade looked at her and smiled.
“You didn’t wear bra?” She asked.

Whitney looked at her and nodded.

“I don’t wear that stuff”

“What? Why?” Jade asked.

Whitney looked at Jade’s watermelon sized bo-obs.

She looked back at Jade and shook her head.

“Its not just… my thing”

“Huh? Alright then” Jade nodded.

“Let’s go” Whitney smiled.

“Okay” Jade smiled back and they walked out of sight.
