∆ FEW HOURS EARLIER~ HOTEL ∆

“What do you want us talk about?” Joanna asked waiting for Pierce reply.

“It’s about last night. I didn’t mean for you to hear it like that and….”

“If you are referring to the deceit, then am okay. You don’t have to worry, I understand that you would want to protect the girl you love even if means using someone else ” Joanna said interrupting him.

“Am sorry Joanna, I really didn’t mean to hurt you” he apologised again.

“Am fine. I will…..”

“Liar! You aren’t” Pierce said noticing the way she kept clenching and unclenching her hands.

“You caught me” she said as the fake smile she had on disappear.

“To be honest, It still hurts. It hurts finding out the truth but then I had last night to think and so have come to this conclusion”

“And that is?” Pierce asked waiting.

“To get rid of my feelings for you” she replied and didn’t see the dark look that cross Pierce face before he mask it.

“I will move on from you Pierce, so you shouldn’t be burden about me or my feelings cause it will end soon. So let’s just be friends? Are you cool with that?” She asked.

“Friends?” Pierce asked starring at her.

“Yes. That will be better than avoiding each other, let’s see each other and greet each other warmly” she added again and though it took a while Pierce nodded in reply.

“Good then. Now that that is done, let’s go join the others” Joanna said giving him a brief smile before leaving.

Pierce stood watching her go. Some how he felt that he lost some thing good, he thought as he slowly followed her.

Joanna was taking her time in joining the others, trying to look calm when someone wrap his arm around her.

“Done talking?” Francis asked.

“I told you to join the others” Joanna replied.

“I didn’t feel like it and besides…you made the right choice” Francis said to Joanna who was confused at what he meant cause unknown to her then she hasn’t realise yet that Francis could hear people’s thought.

∆ BACK IN THE CITY~ AIRPORT ∆

Everyone was leaving the airport together when she got a call from her mom asking her to come home.

“Have got to go home” she said to Mirabel.

“Any problem?” Mirabel asked.

“They just want to see me, you know I didn’t tell them about this trip” she said.

“Okay but if you need backing, I can help after all I forced you to go” Mirabel said.

“Don’t worry, I will be fine” she said as they all stood outside the airport waiting for their ride.

“Explain to every one for me” Joanna said as she was about to hail a taxi when Francis took hold of her hand.

“If you wait a little while then I will drive you to your parents place” Francis said.

“How do you know that am going to my parents house….were you eavesdropping?” She asked but he only shrug in reply.

“The car will arrive soon and….”

“Don’t worry, I will just take a taxi” She said and before he could stop her she got into the taxi and was on her way to her parents home.

∆ JOANNA’S FAMILY HOME ∆

“Am home!” Joanna said as she walk in the mansion only to be greeted with slaps on the back by her mother.

“Why did you leave with out saying a thing? Do you know how worried I was?” Jennifer said hitting her daughter but then a slap on the back got her spinning around too.

“That hurts mom!” Jennifer said starring at her mom.

“You were also doing that to my grandchild, how have you been my sweet ” Grace said opening her arms for Joanna who went in willingly.

“Great granny and how have you been?” Joanna ask.

“Time travelling as always and I bought you things from the future. Only you are meant to have it ” Grace said ignoring her daughter.

“Enough with the pampering mom, let’s focus on the real thing here. Come seat Joanna cause we have a lot to talk about” Jennifer said as the three ladies went to seat.

“What’s this about?” Joanna asked.

“It’s about the guy you had your first kis-s with, I believe you’ve also had your second kis-s with him right?” Grace asked and she nodded slowly.

“Then you should know more about it and what the second kis-s could cause” Jennifer added starring at her daughter.
