First kiss with a bad boy - S01 E17

Pierce took his time before getting to where Francis was.

“Having a good day?” Pierce ask wanting to joke a little before the conversation begin but Francis wasn’t in the mood.

“What are you doing?” Francis asked folding his arms across his chest.

“What do you mean?” Pierce asked slowly, looking away from him.

“You know what am talking about, Pierce. So stop acting like you don’t” Francis said.

“I just gave her a ride cause she seem to be late to school” Pierce replied referring to Joanna.

“And what next? Did you tell her that she could come to you whenever she needs some thing when you don’t mean any of it?” Francis asked getting Pierce words right.

“I did and besides it’s not a bad thing wanting to help a junior, a cute junior at that” Pierce said looking non chalant.

“Don’t mess with her, Pierce” Francis said suddenly and this got Pierce looking at him.

“Why? She’s cute and attractive and also if you guys can mess with other girls why can’t I do it with her?” Pierce asked.

“The girls we mess with are ones who throw them selves at us, girls who only wants some thing temporary” Francis replied.

“What makes you think Joanna isn’t like that. From what I guess she might want some thing temporary from me too and who knows I might …..”

“Joanna doesn’t want some thing temporary because she’s in love with you” Francis told Pierce cutting him off abruptly.

“Uh? What did you say?” Pierce asked.

“I said Joanna loves you and so don’t break her heart. If you are going to show interest in her then do it the right way” Francis said as he turn to stare out side wondering why he confess Joanna feelings to Pierce.

“Then I suggest you do the same too” Pierce said suddenly which got Francis looking his way.

“What do you mean?” Francis asked being the confused one this time around.

“Just as Joanna loves me Jocelyn feels the same way about you, she loves you Francis” Pierce told him and that stunned Francis into silence for a short period of time.

“I never knew that” Francis said.

“You never did cause to you Jocelyn is just a child but she’s been in love with you for a long time and she admitted it to me recently” Pierce continued.

“So do the right thing with her” he added.

“But you are in love with her” Francis said making Pierce sad and angry at the same time.

“Funny right, I love Jocelyn but she loves you while you love Joanna but Joanna loves me instead, a merry go round I should say” Pierce muttered.

Love Joanna? Does it seems like he is in love with Joanna to every one? Francis thought, thinking about Pierce words.

“If it will make you notice Jocelyn then I will try to give Joanna a chance” Pierce said bring him out of his thoughts.

“Giving Joanna a chance isn’t what we are talking about, it’s what you feel that matters here” Francis said.

“I don’t care about my feelings, what I do care about is Jocelyn and her feelings. She loves you, so try to give her a chance and I will do the same with Joanna” Pierce said and walk off leaving Francis starring after him.

All kind of thought went throu-ghFrancis head at that particular moment but then the most important one was sorting out his feelings.

∆ BUSINESS DEPARTMENT ∆

“So that’s all for today’s cla-ss, don’t forget to visit my office for your project” Mr cannes said before leaving the cla-ss.

“When exactly do you think we should visit Mr Cannes?” Joanna asked packing her stuffs into her bag and when Mirabel didn’t say a thing, she turn to see Mirabel starring at her.

“Is some thing wrong?” Joanna ask.

“Why do you look exceptionally beautiful today? Is that for Pierce” Mirabel asked teasingly.

“I dress like this every day, so stop with your insinuations ” Joanna said hitting her book on Mirabel arms lightly.

“But tell me, what are you gonna do with Jocelyn around? She’s the girl Pierce loves” Mirabel said as they both left the hall.

“To be sincere I don’t know what to do, Jocelyn appears to be a nice girl and besides Francis is still helping me and…..”

“Hello Joanna” a voice called from behind and they both turn to see Jocelyn there.

“Hello” Joanna said as Jocelyn came towards them.

“I came to enroll, I will officially be a student of Royal college tomorrow” Jocelyn said smiling at Joanna.

“Am glad, what department do you intend to study in ?” Joanna asked.

“Business of course, you are in business too right?” Jocelyn asked and Joanna nodded.

“That’s great, we will be in the same cla-ss, I look forward to studying with you. I would have love to chat some more but I still have to see the guys, good bye ” she said waving them off before walking out of sight.

“I might have been invincible to her” Mirabel commented beside Joanna.

“I completely forgot! I should have done the introduction ” Joanna said.

“Even with out the introduction, she should have acknowledge my presence and besides she gives out a bad vibe which I don’t like” Mirabel said wrinkling her nose in distaste.

“She’s not that, you will like her if you get to know her” Joanna said.

“Thanks, but am not interested ” Mirabel said walking off while Joanna ran after her.

∆ FRANCIS & JOANNA APARTMENT ∆

As soon as Joanna walk into the house, it was to see Francis preparing to leave.

“Going some where?” She asked.

“Why do you ask? Interested in me?” Francis ask in return.

“No! Am only asking because I will be going to the super market later in the evening and I want to know if you need some thing” she said.

“Well I don’t think I need any other thing apart from a new set of tooth brush, be a good girl and get them for me” he said putting on his sneakers.

He straighten up and she couldn’t help but to admit that he look very handsome in his get up.

“Any thing else?” Francis asked.

“Ugh? ”

“You’ve been gawking at me, do you have something else to ask me” Francis said.

“No,none at all. Have a nice outing ” She said going straight to her bed room.

Francis stop his car in front of the restaurant where in a while he will be seeing Jocelyn.

After Pierce confession about her feelings for him, he was thinking of calling her to meet up but she sent him a message first, asking him to come meet her at this restaurant.

He only thinks of her as the little sister he never had and in a million years to come, he doesn’t see him self getting romantically involve with her.

So that’s mainly why he agreed to come see her, so he can let her know about his feelings and for her to move on from him and who knows that might probably make her notice Pierce feelings for her.

With that in mind, he got out of his car and was making his way to the restaurant when he got a call.

On seeing the caller, a smile appear on his face before he answered.

“Don’t tell me you are lost in the super market ?” He asked.

“What do you think I am? A toddler?” Joanna replied hotly which got him smiling widely, some thing which attracted the looks of two ladies who were walking by.

“I only called to ask you about the kind of tooth brush you use, I don’t want to buy some thing you don’t use” She said.

“Just get me anyone, am fine with using any brush” He replied.

“That’s fine and …..Oh my….. Arrrghhh!!” she yelled out suddenly startling Francis

“What’s wrong Joanna?” He said but there was no reply.

“Talk to me! Is some thing wrong?” Francis said worriedly but there was no reply and the last thing he heard before ending the call was the voice of a woman saying.

“Is she okay?”

Immediately, Francis went back to his car and was about to get in when he heard his name being called.

“Are you leaving?” Jocelyn ask as she got to where he is.

“Am sorry but let’s schedule this meeting for some other time” he said but she held his arm.

“But why are you suddenly leaving?” Jocelyn asked tightening her hold on his arm.

“Some thing might have happen to Joanna. Am sorry that I have to leave in this manner but I have a bad feeling about this so let’s reschedule this meeting for some other time, am sorry Jocelyn” he said pulling his arm out of her hold and getting into the car he drove off leaving Jocelyn standing there.

“Damn you Joanna, damn you” Jocelyn muttered as she tighten her fist in anger.
