Still shirtless but now in a pair of trousers, Francis sat on the couch while waiting for Nicholas to pick his call.

Joanna who had went to put her things in one of the empty room came to join him.

“Has he pick yet?” Joanna asked and Francis shake his head negatively.

Just when he’s about to give up, Nicholas voice drifted in.

“Hello buddy” Nicholas said cheerfully.

“What the hell are you up to? Why am I sharing this apartment with Joanna?” Francis asked.

“Am sorry dude but I had to do it. I needed Joanna money and since I couldn’t say no to you after giving you my word, I decided that you two should live together” Nicholas said as Francis and Joanna stare at each other before looking away.

“That’s breach of contract! I want my money back” Joanna said.

“Sorry babe but no refund and besides I did you both a favour and since Francis is helping you win Pierce heart, you guys need to live close to be able to think of a plan” Nicholas said teasing them.

“Am in no mood for your joke !” Francis said.

“And am not joking. You both should adjust to things and enjoy being room mates and besides since you two feel nothing for each other, it shouldn’t be a problem right? Now am in the middle of some thing important so don’t call unless it’s important than this” Nicholas said ending the call.

“That jerk! He tricked me” Joanna yelled out in anger.

“Same here” Francis muttered busy with his phone.

“Why don’t you leave? You’ve got enough money and lot of houses, you don’t certainly want me living with you right?” Joanna asked hoping he would do as she says and leave.

“Am not leaving and besides have got no where to stay and also you have nothing to fear from me, I won’t pounce on you or anything” He said.

“So? Do you expect me to say that it’s a relief and stay here with you? I can’t! I won’t!” She said going into her room while Francis let out a sigh.

Jocelyn walked into the dorm which the four boys stayed and luckily for her they were all at home.

“Aren’t you three cruel?” Jocelyn asked starring at Pierce, Nicholas and Theo.

“What are you doing here?”Theo asked.

“I overheard dad conversation with mom and I heard them talking about Francis and judging by his absence you three didn’t help him right?” Jocelyn asked as they all look away.

“Pierce! Why aren’t you saying anything. Aren’t you the more practical one amongst them?” Jocelyn asked as she went to seat beside him.

“Well Theo and I didn’t help but Nicholas did” Pierce told her.

“Really?” She asked her face brightening as she turn to Nicholas.

“Unlike your brother and Pierce,I have a heart and that’s why I got him a house, it isn’t quite far from here” Nicholas said.

“That’s great. We must pay him a visit” Jocelyn said suddenly.

“That sounds like a great idea” Nicholas said.

“Coming Theo? If so then order some chicken and drinks, we can’t go to his house empty handed” Jocelyn said before turning to Pierce.

“And you should find some movies we should take along and…. ”

“Am not going”Pierce said leaving the seat and heading to bed room but Jocelyn followed him.

“Retreating into your lonely shell again?” Jocelyn asked.

“Am not retreating, I just don’t feel like….”

“No! I will be there and so you also have to be there” Jocelyn said taking hold of his hand and pulling him back to the sitting room where the others were.

∆ JOANNA & FRANCIS HOUSE ∆

Having spoken to two lawyers who told her that it’s impossible to get a refund after signing the contract, she finally gave up and got out of her bed intent on making some thing to eat.

As soon as she open her door,Francis lounging on the chair still shirtless was the first thing she saw.

“If we are going to live together, please put on some thing” she said attracting his attention.

“I hate it and this Is how I am whenever am at home” he said with an annoying smirk on his face.

“That is whenever you are with your friends but you are living with a girl and it’s only right that you dress properly. That body of yours isn’t even good enough to look at” she muttered and turn towards the kitchen only to be pulled back and pushed against the wall while Francis towered over her making it ha-rd for her to escape.

“Wh…what are you doing?” She stuttered starring at him.

“I can tolerate anything but when you insult my physical attribute I can’t stand it. How about I show you how good enough my body is” he said moving closer while she shrink against the wall.

She lowered her gaze and this time she couldn’t help but to admit in her head that has a well endowed body.

His abs were perfect and the exotic scent emanating from him got her wondering what sort of cologne he uses.

She was still starring at his body when his hand went to her jaw lifting it up so he could see her face.

“Still in doubt about my physical attributes or do I really have to show you?” He whispered to her softly.

“Ho….how do you intend on showing me ?” She asked.

“What do you think?” He asked in return as his gaze drifted to her li-ps.

He move slowly towards her and would have kis-s her but then the ringing of the bell halt the whole thing.

Distracting him from achieving his goal while saving her from doing some thing dirty with him.

“Who the hell is it?” He said going to get the door while she quickly escape to her room.

“Yes!” Francis said in anger only to see his friends along with Jocelyn at the door way.

“Surprise!” Jocelyn and Nicholas said in unison while Pierce and Theo just waved at him with their hands filled with the chicken and drink they bought.

“What are you doing here?” Francis asked as he let them all in.

“House warming, since you won’t invite us, we decided to come'” Jocelyn replied.

“But I just moved in two days ago” Francis said as they all took their seat.

“Two days ago is enough for you to familiarize yourself with your new house” Theo chipped in.

“And besides we are here solely because we feel bad for not helping. So the chicken and drink is on us” Pierce said starring at Theo.

“So where is she?” Nicholas asked already opening a chicken package.

“Where is who? Don’t tell me Francis has got a girl here?” Jocelyn asked jokingly.

“He’s got a girl here” Nicholas replied startling the other three while Francis pick up a pillow to throw it on Nicholas.

“And who’s fault is it?” Francis asked starring at him.

“Is your girl friend here?” Jocelyn asked a sad expression on her face as she waits for his reply while Pierce watch her.

Just at that moment, Joanna got out of room earning everyone’s attention.

“What’s miss Pretty doing here? Is she your girlfriend?” Theo asked as they all stare at Joanna before moving to Francis.

“She’s not his girlfriend but his room mate” Nicholas supplied while he bit into the chicken in front of him.
