after the class Lena went out in search of Clark and met him sitting quietly at the rooftop.

“hey ” she called slowly and he looked up .

“are you okay ? why did you leave the and didn’t bother to come when we had biology?” Lena asked and got no response.

“are you sick ” she asked again trying to touch his body temperature, but he stopped her .

“I don’t want to talk to anyone so please leave ” he muttered.

“did you had a fight with your sister?” she.asked again.

“I don’t wanna talk to Anyone, don’t you get that ” he said .

“I don’t know why you’re mad , but I don’t like this side of you ” Lena said .

“oh really? you don’t wanna see me sad ,but you …. forget it ” he said and looked away.

“why are you suddenly getting mad when we talked this morning” she said .

“people Change or should I say mood change” he replied.

“let go . remember you promised to get me something and also want to drop me home ” she said and he looked at her without saying anything.

“just stand up ” she cried out when he didn’t move an inch .

“stop doing this and just stand up ” Lena said and he looked at her .

“I look more handsome right?” he asked .

“Clark are you really okay ? ” she asked and he nodded.

“I’m the most handsome guy in the school right?” he asked again.

“you’re handsome no doubt ,but Leo is the most handsome guy in the school” she replied.

“just leave ” he muttered.

“not until you finally decide to stand up ” she replied still trying to make him stand up .

“can we do that tommorow” he said .

“remember promises are not meant to be broken” she said .

“I know that’s why I want us to do that tommorow”he replied.

“I will be going to big brother Damon’s place tomorrow” she said .

“okay ” he replied , stood up and walked away.

“you better get me something when you’re coming on Monday” she said walking behind.

“I won’t” he replied.

“you won’t dare ” she said and he laughed.

“yeah i finally made you laugh ” she said and smile .

“do you have any other plan for this weekend?” he asked .

“not really,but I do ” she replied and winked .

they both continued talking and laughing till they got to the car park .

“study hard for the exam . I didn’t tell you to come here in the middle of the term ” she whispered

“I’m not gonna do that , I want to fail ” he replied.

“what don’t do that ” she yelled and he laughed.

“when are you planning on coming in ” leo yelled from where he was standing.

“bye ” she said and walked up to Leo.

“Clark let’s go” Alice said and held his hand .

“I told you before, just stop touching me I don’t wanna be your friend” he said and walked away .

“where’s Cherry?” Clark asked .

“she left ” Alice replied.

“she took the bus ?” he asked and she nodded.

“why didn’t you go with her then ?” he asked and she kept quiet.

“I’m not gonna drop you off” he said , enter the car and drove off without hesitation

Alice stood there looking at parents coming for their children.

“hop in” she heard and turn .

she smile when she saw Rudy and quickly got in .

“why were you standing there ?” Rudy asked .

“maybe I was waiting for you” Alice replied with a smile.

“why didn’t you go with your friend?” he asked .

“I don’t know what wrong with her , she’ve been ignoring me and acting as if we are no longer best friends” she replied sadly.

“it’s okay ” he said and focused on the road.

“wanna hang out with me tommorow?” he asked

“I’m sorry but I have to study tommorow, I can’t fail ” she replied.

“then I’m coming to your place to study with you ” he said. with a smile .

“don’t please . I can come to yours” she said .

“why can’t I come to yours?” he asked .

“nothing I will be in your place tommorow” she replied.

he stopped the car in front of her house and looked at her .

“can I come say hi to your mom ?” he asked .

“no….no..no ” she stuttered.

“ok….ay” he muttered.

“thank you” she replied and went out of the car.

Rudy watch her as she went in and then drove home.
